Chapter Nineteen

After talking to Samantha I went for a walk around the camp. And I heard a noise, everyone was watching the Brustel School arrive.

-They must have been in a hotel, which makes a school like this in a place like this," said some students who saw them arrive.

One of them stopped and spoke to me.

-You're from that Alison's school, right?

-Yes.

-Come with us.

The other people laughed and said they would hit me.

I couldn't say no, so I had to be taken to them.

A boy with black hair and orange eyes welcomed me.

-You are Luan, right?

-Yes I am, as you know that.

-The national trials, kid.

-What do you want from me? .....

-I'm Gabriel, vice president of the Brustel School. His haughty attitude has caused discomfort, some applaud what he did, but sane people reproach him for his behavior.

-But what did Alison do?

-At a national commemorative event, the work of many military personnel who died in the war was recognized. All the senators were greeting military personnel who survived, but Alison refrained from greeting Deicy's father as the welcome session began. Everyone looked at this gesture as rude and meaningless, but Mr. Lombardi did not. He lost his temper and almost hit her in front of everyone. It was the looks that stopped the embarrassment he would have left, if he had responded with blows. Some opponents applaud this, others don't give it a second thought, but he does. He has taken it personally, your friend must watch his back, there is a reason both schools are in this very camp.

-All right, I'll try to warn him.

-Just keep him away from the rest of this school or another one, anyone can do something to him and it's out of my hands to help him.

-Because so far we're starting to talk about what happened.

-One of my classmates recognized him in the square, and this news began to spread. I don't agree with what your friend did, but I don't think they're going to do anything to him either. Ah, let your group know that there will be a meeting between representatives from each school of the activities that will be done.

-Okay, I will do that.

I got out of that place and started thinking, that kid, he gave me confidence. I didn't think he would take the trouble to talk to me and let me know.

As I was heading to my group and without knowing it, there were some students from Brustel over there staring at me in displeasure. I tried to avoid thinking that they were there, when one came out he took my shirt and hit me in the stomach and another one kicked me in the face, several times, soon after they left. It was incredible that this was happening, Gabriel was right, there was a reason both schools were together and they knew I was a friend of Alison's.

I felt like I couldn't breathe and tried to catch my breath to get up.

I walked around looking for my group and the other schools were laughing at me and telling each other what happened.

Alison was in a meeting with the rest of the group and was the first person to see me.

-What happened to you?

-They're sending you a warning because of what you did.

My classmates were looking at Alison, with some reproach, their glances saying it's all your fault. Liz and Samantha tried to heal the bruises on my face.

-See what you did," said Samantha.

-It's not the time to talk about that, please make the Blas atmosphere heavy between us.

-Okay, Alison, solve this, or half of us will end up getting beaten up like Luan.

-Okay, I'll try. Come with me.

-Wait, his bruises haven't come down yet. And the best thing will be to talk to Clouds. Why did you do that to Deicy's dad, anyway?

-No, it's something I like to talk about.

-He's the one who sent you to do what happened on that occasion.

-Yes.

-You don't have to explain anything to me, someone from Brustel explained it to me, you can't be alone.

-I know, there's a meeting now I need you to come with me.

..... ..... .. . .. . . . .. . . . . . . . .. .

The girls healed me and I returned to the camp and saw the anger that many felt because of what was happening. It made the school the target of ridicule and criticism.

My cousin came up to me and looked at me.

-I could have sworn you had a bruise on your face. Because you took so long, don't tell me you were doing things with Alison when no one was looking.

The people around us listened and looked at me funny.

-Don't say that if someone kept listening to you they would believe what you were saying was true, because you were my cousin

-It's okay, but I'm not saying anything that doesn't sound like it.

I don't know at what point he became so annoying and idle that he looked like someone else. I walked away from him and went to find Saul.

I saw him talking and called him.

He waited for me and looked at me, he looked tired.

-Today they have a meeting between representatives, you must go.

-Okay, but Alison should go as a representative of the salon, after what she did, to lower the tension that created all of us. It's an uncomfortable environment.

-I understand, I'll tell her.

.... ... ... ... .... ... ..... ....

After talking to Saul I took off my uniform and put on clothes to avoid the bullying of the other schools

.

I found Alison, almost 10 minutes before the meeting started.

-She said, "Come with me and tap me on the shoulder.

-Hey, why?

-There are several Brustel's around here, you could get hit again.

I followed him.

When we arrived at the meeting place, Brustel's people seized us.

One of them tried to hit me, but Alison told him.

-Do it and I'll get your school involved in a fight, how about that?

The guy thought about it and left me alone.

When we went in there were about forty people.

We both sat down, and one of the guys in charge looked at us and said

-It says here that there would be 45 people, including representatives and presidents. What are you?

-I am a representative of my salon, and he is my companion.

-Accompanying? the meeting didn't say accompanying, this isn't a party, kid.

-Well, there's something that needs to be talked about and he's here for that.

Deicy looked at everyone and said.

-Please this is irrelevant, let's start the meeting.

As each representative started, he introduced himself, and talked about his expectations.

Then he talked about the activities that would be done each day.

At the end of the meeting. Alison asked for the floor.

-Well, as you know, I did something a few months ago and today I and my classmates have been victims of insults and beatings by x school, I just ask you to stop this. If you don't, I will write a letter to the organizers and to the ministry of education, for personal injury and damage to my image. To that school.

-That's a lie," her classmate shouted.

But someone from outside of both schools spoke up.

-That's true, miss, I've seen other schools attack Alison's classmates, because of what happened in the plaza, I even saw him beaten up, now he looks better, I don't know why, I say, but whatever it was that made them solve it somewhere else. This is no place to promote violence and his school being so prestigious looks bad.

While everyone was arguing I felt bad for the girl. Most agreed with the reported assault that North Waltz was undergoing, and they didn't want such an environment.

I started to sweat a lot at that point, but I ignored that to see the scene.

Deicy approached Alison to apologize for what had happened.

Everyone was shocked by her attitude, they expected her to be someone. arrogant, for being that kind of a daughter.

Before doing so, she looked at me.

-What's wrong with you?

I was seeing something that no one else was seeing, but I didn't know why I was asking myself that.

-Nothing, I answered.

Alison approached me, apparently she noticed it too.

-Let's go, you look bad.

I felt anger and distrust towards him at that moment.

I don't know why I pushed him and scratched his neck, or if a part of me hated him. I didn't understand anything.

I did not know what I was doing and my movements were abrupt, I could not breathe, it was an attitude of despair that I did not understand.

Deicy came to me when no one else would, after what I did to Alison. She took off some gloves and touched my face.

I don't know if it was my hallucinations at the time, but I no longer had control of my body, everything went black. I touched my neck and felt a sting there.

Brustel's girl, apparently, noticed it, and tried to stop me from assaulting someone else and grabbed both my hands. Soon after, I passed out on her chest.
