Ash and Misty giggled between each other making Brock sweatdrop as the group left Jameson's hometown behind. They had flown on top of Charizard and Fearrow and dumped some of Muk's more smelly sludge on Jessible. Served her right for scaring Tomo, Charizard wanted to fry her to her crisp after he heard what happened but then agreed to humiliate her publicly. They wanted her to be punished not garner pity, it was a juvenile prank but effective in it's simplicity. As they entered the city proper they came across a terrible sight, a bus carrying people and Pokemon had crashed into another bus. They nodded and volunteered to help them injured get treated.

Ash observed the situation, "The Pokemon centre is full, do you think we could transfer some of them to a human hospital?"

Nurse Joy who had over heard Ash, "That's actually a good idea. I'll call the hospital ahead and tell them."

Ash helped the injured Pokemon into the ambulance that would take them to the hospital. Ash sat beside the injured Pokemon to keep them calm, Misty and Jessilina went on a different vehicle, Jameson and Brock on the last one. They soon reached the hospital where they started to unload the Pokemon and went in search of a Doctor to help them out.

Ash, "Hello! Doctor? We need help!"

Misty, "Yeah, we got Pokemon who are injured here."

A man came out, "I'm Doctor Proctor, how can I help you?"

Ash, "We are volunteers and have brought the Pokemon who were hurt in am accident for treatment here."

Dr Proctor yawned, "Can't you just take them to the Pokemon centre this is a human hospital."

Misty, "But we just came from the Pokemon centre, it was already full."

Dr Proctor, "Oh! Hello cute girl! Well how about you tell me what is wrong?"

Ash, "Pedophile!"

Misty backed away and hid behind Ash, "It's the Pokemon who are hurt."

Dr Proctor twitched, "Well I cannot help you! This is a hospital for humans not Pokemon."

Ash called Nurse Joy, "Hello Nurse Joy, the Doctor here, Dr Proctor refused to help us, also he is a pedophile. Is there another hospital we could go to?"

Misty, "Yeah Nurse Joy, please?"

Nurse Joy, "Doctor Proctor! How dare you try to touch children!"

Dr Proctor fumbled, "I'm not a pedophile, I promise."

Nurse Joy, "This is your fourth offence in a month. You are hereby suspended, Ash, Misty, I heard Brock is learning to be a Pokemon Doctor right? Help him, I'm putting him in charge, a Nurse Joy will be there to help you soon."

Ash, "Thank you Nurse Joy."

Misty, "We very much appreciate it."

The two of them walked away from the gaping man and told Jameson and Brock what happened with them. To say they were pissed was an understatement, but the two of them calmed them down and they focused on helping the hurt Pokemon instead. Around afternoon a Nurse Joy came and helped them take care of the Pokemon while at the same time giving Dr Proctor a earful and a year long suspension. This was not the first time he had flirted with underage girls and got in trouble according to Nurse Joy making Ash wonder if he should even be allowed to be a Doctor in the first place. They soon left the hospital and went towards the city exit coming across what looked like a training camp where they trained with Pokemon.

Jameson, "This place is actually known for training Officers and canine Pokemon together."

Ash, "I can see Arcanine, Growlithe, Houndour, Poocheyana and Ekectrike. They are working really hard."

Misty nodded, "You said it, Ash, they are all so cute too."

Tomo, "Look look Growly! You can do those too one day."

Growly yipped in excitement, he had been taking part in some of the training and it was fun. The group watched the training for a bit before they were approached by an Officer Jenny who invited them to join them.

Brock, "Well if a beautiful and talented lady like you is asking, how can I say noooaswsdfghjj...."

Misty, "He never learns."

Ash, "Nope!"

Zubat, "Zu zu zu zu zu zubat."

Officer Jenny then told them the real reason, "I'll be honest I was actually very curious about your Lucario and Growlithe."

Ash blinked, "Ah! This place is where canines are trained, of course."

Tomo, "See Growly, you are special."

Growly's tail wagged, "Row!"

Officer Jenny, "A shiny Growlithe is very rare and an albino one is almost unheard of so seeing one is truly something."

One of the Officers, Dylan spoke, "You said it Gwen, in fact how did you find this little guy, he can't be older than a month or so."

Ash then launched into their story of how they found the little egg in Grampa canyon of all places getting incredulous looks from the two Officers. As far as they knew there were no wild canine Pokemon around there so how the little one's egg was was left there was a big question mark. They soon left the city after the lunch and crossed the forest that took two days, to another city that had a direct night bus service to Cerulean city. As they were checking the place out they saw a group of Squirtles and Wartotles being led by a large Blastoise. Ash and Misty's Wartotles went to greet them and invited them to have a quick snack with them. The group did not mind as they would be reaching Cerulean city the next day and shared the snacks with the wild Pokemon.

Lucario whispered, -Meema the Blastoise belonged to someone.-

Ash whispered, "Who Lucario?"

Lucario used aura sight, -I think they have passed away already, the aura bond she has with her trainer is transparent gray, if the trainer was alive it would have been blue.-

Ash, "Oh! I'm so sorry Blastoise."

Blastoise shook his head and pat Ash's head as if to say it happened long ago and he would be alright. Misty nodded understanding and offered a copy of the Cerulean badge that Blastoise could show Officer Jenny and she could help him out, if Blastoise was ever in trouble. Blastoise smiled and accepted it, he remembered the kind Officers that always helped his trainer out before and agreed they were trust worthy. Blastoise and his group of Wartotles and Squirtles then left them to go travelling again through the ocean.

Misty's eyes were sparkling, "Soon you will be a Blastoise and have your own mini Wartotles and Squirtles."

Misty's Wartotle blushed before looking at Ash's Wartotle, "Totle wartotle."

Ash, "Yeah! I bet they'll be really cute too just like them."

Ash's Wartotle puffed his chest up, "Totle wartotle."

Misty looked between the two before giggling, "I can't wait but till then let's keep on training and becoming stronger."

Jameson smiled at their enthusiasm, "Well, we should go see if there are any good diners where we can have dinner before our ride later."

Jessilina, "I know a great place where we can get good barbeque."

Brock, "Misty don't look now but you are being followed."

Misty, "Huh? Oh!"

A Psyduck was following them, the moment Misty looked back the little guy went to hide and look back at her. He then clutched his head because of another bout of headache whining because of the pain. Misty rushed to him worried when she heard the cry followed by the others.

Ash, "What happened?"

Misty, "Psyducks in general have a lot of psychic energy inside them despite being a water type. I think he is getting headaches because of it. Right Psyduck?"

Psyduck nodded blushing because of embarrassment, "Psy ai ai psy."

Brock, "Well calm mind can help. It is a move most psychic types use when they have a hard time controlling psychic powers."

Misty, "Looks like I'm going shopping for TM once we reach Cerulean City, that is if you want to come with me Psyduck."

Psyduck nodded holding his head, "Psy psyduck."

Misty held Psyduck and took him with her and they headed together to the bus stop while at the same time, Misty gave Psyduck a massage to try to keep him calm. It seemed to be working if the blissed out expression on Psyduck's face was anything to go by. Brock noticed a busy Pokemon salon as they were walking towards the bus station and motioned at it.

Brock, "Hey look!"

Jessilina, "A Pokemon salon, this looks like the new one."

Jameson, "I heard they were doing really well, do you want to check it out?"

Ash, "Maybe we can get the TM that we need."

Misty perked up, "You think so, let's check it out then."

The group entered the salon which was filled with people running about and customers demanding attention. Jessilina looked around before she stopped and stared then got Jameson attention who saw two very familiar faces that made them grab Ash, Misty and Brock and get out of there. The three of them were puzzled by their actions and asked them what was wrong.

Jessilina, "They are part of Team Rocket."

Brock, "WHAT?"

Jameson, "Hush! And I recognize them from Mt Moon."

Misty, "Now that you mention it the green and yellow heads do look familiar."

Meowth, "Wat do we do nya?"

Lucario, -We make a plan, we can't just bust in there.-

Ash nodded, "That would put the people and Pokemon in danger."

Misty, "I know, listen guys.. "

That night they sneaked into the back room of the salon through the window and were pretty pissed off by what they saw there. The Pokemon were being kept in cramped cages and spaces instead of a proper room or play area and even their pokeballs would have been better. Ash half wondered if poachers and Team Rocket were just plain bastards and bitches, who just liked to make everyone else miserable. Lucario touched his hand and used calm mind to calm Ash's anger and Ash nodded in thanks before taking out his camera to take pictures.

Ash whispered, "Lucario parameter check first, please."

Lucario nodded and used aura sight, -No one this side.-

Jessilina, "Good, I'll get the pictures of the poison types."

Misty whispered, "I'll handle the water types."

Ash, "I'll get the young ones."

Jameson, "I can get the canines calm."

Brock, "I got medicine if you need."

As the others went to make sure the other Pokemon were not hurt or sick, and Ash approached the young Pokemon who were shuffled into the corner slowly. They all looked at him scared and Omanyte, Chimchar and Phantump nodded before climbing down and talking to them quietly. The young Pokemon relaxed after a while and allowed Ash to take pictures of them, before Lucario warned them someone was coming. The group quickly finished taking the evidence before leaving the same way they had come, Meowth warned them through the head gear the cameras would come online soon. They hurried to get out of there as quickly as possible before heading to the police station and informing Officer Jenny about what they found.

Officer Jenny looked at the photos grimly, "I see, do not worry I'll deal with them. How did you know to suspect them?"

Misty, "The female in charge, we have met her before at Mt Moon."

Ash, "She and the green haired guy was no is still part of Team Rocket."

Officer Jenny looked really grim, "I see, thank you for bringing this to my attention, we shall deal with this, do you have any photos from Mt Moon."

Jameson, "Yes, we saved a copy of some videos with them just in case we ran into them."

Officer Jenny, "Thank you, this will be very helpful."

The group left the station and watched as Officer Jenny called a few Rangers and other officers and went to apprehend the group pretending to be salon workers. From what Ash heard the next day some of the Pokemon were already lost in the black market making him frown. Misty glared at the floor mumbling about bitches and bastards who only knew how to steal Pokemon from others and sell them. Brock shook his head and led them to the morning bus, since they had missed the night bus in order to help the Pokemon instead. Jameson and Jessilina were fast asleep with Tomo between them on the backseats of the bus, Ash could not blame them, it had been almost morning when they were able to sleep.
