Kanto - Indio Plateau

Lapras and Phantump decided to go to the lab along with the other Pokemon while Chimchar, Omanyte and Tyrunt stuck around Ash wanting to spend time with him. Ash simply smiled and rubbed their snouts and booped their noses before going to the meeting place. He had lunch meeting with the Professor and Director Koreda, an upcoming movie director from Hoenn. Ash hummed as he sat next to the Professor who introduced him to the director. They had been discussing the book for a while now and Chimchar and Tyrunt were getting bored.

Koreda, "So this is the mysterious writer of Hogwart Chronicles."

Ash gripped his spoon before putting it down, "Yes, I am. Nice to meet you Director Koreda."

Samuel, "He is a bright child."

Koreda, "Indeed, I have read his work, it's well plotted out. The teen drama might be annoying but it's tolerable."

Ash shrugged, "Teenagers are teenagers and kids are kids."

Koreda, "I look forward to making this a movie and buying the rights to make future movies of your books. La Llorona wasn't it? You published that one under your real name."

Ash, "I wanted the freedom to write more than one genre. People tend to judge you based on the genre you have written. I didn't want to be chained to just one."

Koreda nodded, "Versatility is always good."

Samuel, "We'll agree to that just let us go through the paperwork. And make sure everything is okay. Not everyone knows who the writer is and I don't want some nutjob trying to steal the credit. It's nothing against you Director but I have had way too many experiences with the crazy trying to steal someone else's work."

Koreda chuckled, "Don't worry Professor I understand how you feel. I didn't become Director without facing problems myself."

Ash, "You said you wanted to create the first two books and then recreate the Fantastic Beast book. Why not the third one?"

Koreda grinned, "Because your first and second book introduce us to a school and to some fascinating creatures. It's only right to introduce the magical beast you have created properly through a movie. Now if I'm right the Fantastic beast fall a hundred years in the past right?"

Ash, "Five hundred actually, I dated Hogwarts to be thousand years old and the Fantastic beast events occur five hundred years after the school is created."

Koreda, "Hmm! That way there will be no connection between the two timelines except for history books."

Ash grinned, "Noticed that, did you?"

Koreda, "It was just one paragraph from the classes but yes I did."

The rest of the meeting went by talking about the book and how the movies would be created. There were interviews going on already and actors being chosen to play the roles of the characters. The lunch ended without any problems and with both sides agreeing on the terms of the contract before signing it. The next day it was time for Ash's battle with the last remaining battler, Ethan, Gold's cousin.

Announcer, "Welcome back everyone. We are going to start the finals which is a sis on six battle. After three battles there will be a break and the battlefield will change. I hope you are all ready. Let's give it up for our finalists."

Ash walked in with Pikachu as the audience cheered, 'I reached the finals on my first League.'

Ethan, "Ash, right? Nice to meet you."

Ash, "Ethan, Gold told me about you, good things. I promise."

Ethan mumbled, "He better!"

Announcer, "Trainers please take your places and turn your attention to the wheel on the screen. The hand will move and the side that it stops on will have to show their Pokemon first."

Ash moved to his place as the wheel rotated and surprise it fell on him, "Ah! Thought this would happen. Oh well. Let's go Primeape!"

Announcer, "And we have Primeape taking the stage first. Let's see what Ethan will choose."

Ethan grinned, "Hitmontop time to shine."

Announcer, "And we have a battle between fighting types. Let the best fighter win!"

Ash, "Karate chop!"

Ethan, "Mega kick!"

The two fighting types attacked and hit each other before separating. Primeape rubbed his head while Hitmontop rubbed his right side, the pain from the hit was something. Both Pokemon looked at each other before attacking again hitting the other with another karate chop and mega kick. Primeape then used double team as Hitmontop attacked again before attacking him with another karate chop. The attack landed just below Hitmontop's head knocking him out.

Announcer, "Hitmontop is unable to battle, Primeape wins the first match."

Ash, "Great job Primeape!"

Primeape, "Ape ape ape!"

Ash, "You want to keep battling or rest."

Primeape looked at the battlefield then walked next to Ash sitting down, "Ape!"

Ash nodded, "Alright then!"

Ethan, "Thanks for the battle buddy. Now I choose you Meganium."

Meganium, "Mega!"

Ash, "Let's do this Venasaur."

Venasaur, "Saur!"

Announcer, "Begin!"

Ash, "Sunny day."

Ethan, "Grassy terrain."

Announcer, "And both sides started off the battle with powerful status moves. Look at that effect on Venasaur and Meganium."

True to those words both Venasaur and Meganium were glowing under the double effect of sunny day and grassy terrain. It was a fantastic sight to behold before both Pokemon charged each other using the move tackle. Both Pokemon hissed at the other before taking out their vines and using vine whip.

Announcer, "Both are not backing down and are fighting without holding back."

Ash, "Use take down."

Ethan, "Razor leaf!"

Venasaur used take down on Meganium just as Meganium used razor leaf, both Pokemon were hit by the attacks. Venasaur winced at the cuts while Meganium hissed as her body shook from the effect of the powerful take down. Both their attacks were stronger then normal for three more moves, they would have to make it count. Venasaur and Meganium both took battle ready stances the air around them charged up with power.

Ash, "Giga drain."

Ethan, "Use solar beam."

It didn't take long for solar beam to power up and be shot at Venasaur who dodged but his left leg was hit. Venasaur hissed then roared as he used giga drain on Meganium and focused the stolen energy on healing his burned leg. Meganium growled at the bulb Pokemon and tried to shake him off but Venasaur was tenacious and didn't let go till the burning in his leg disappeared.

Ethan mumbled, "Two moves left."

Ash, "Let's make it count. Venasaur power whip."

Ethan's eyes widened, "Meganium frenzy plant to counter quick."

Meganium gave a roar as she used frenzy plant to slow the powerful whip coming down at her. Ash gave a grin at that despite the fact the damage by power whip was cut into half, they could win this.

Ash, "Venasaur leaf storm."

Ethan, "Synthesis quick and use leaf storm as well."

Meganium gave a glare at her opponent as she used synthesis to recover her strength through sunny day and grassy terrain. Both Pokemon used leaf storm one after another to attack covering the entire field in vines, grass and shrubs. The status moves sunny day and grassy terrain ended bring effective a few seconds into the powerful attack. When the commotion died down Venasaur and Meganium were standing panting opposite to each other. They looked at their opponent before giving a smirk and fainting due to exhaustion.

Announcer, "Venasaur and Meganium are unable to battle. The second match is a draw. For the third match both sides must choose their Pokemon together. After the third match the battle field shall change.... Well it already changed during the second match."

There were nervous laughs from the audience at the last comment and the announcer continued, "During the change, both sides will have a five minute break. Now choose your Pokemon."

Ethan, "Thank you girl. You have come a long way. Rest up for now."

Ash, "Return Venasaur, you have become very powerful to the point you can effect nature. I am very proud of you."

Ethan, "I choose Ursaring."

Ash, "Time to shine Wigglytuff."

Ursaring, "Raaaaaaaaa!"

Wigglytuff, "Wigglytuff."

Announcer, "Let the battle begin."

Ethan, "Hammer arm!"

Ash, "Copy cat!"

Ursaring used hammer arm which was copied by Wigglytuff who attacked using the same move. Ursaring narrowed her eyes at her opponent and growled while Wigglytuff smirked at her. The two separated before rushing to attack again and again, Wigglytuff and Ursaring were hit more then once but both females ignored it.

Ethan, "Metal claw and hammer arm. Let's see you try to copy that."

Ash, "Don't underestimate my Wigglytuff. She may be cute but she is also deadly. Copy cat and fire punch."

Wigglytuff grinned as she answered hammer arm with another copycat then used fire punch against metal claw. Ursaring hissed at the burning sensation from her arm but didn't back down. Wigglytuff then tilted back a bit before bringing her head in attacking her opponent using Zen head butt. Primeape cheered her on from the side and Ash gave a laughing huff realizing who taught her that move. Pikachu sighed and grumbled on his shoulder about battle maniac, Ash gave him a chin rub.

Lillie was squealing, "Look at her go. Brother I want a fairy type too. They are so strong."

Gladion who was beside her nodded patting his Mimikyu, "Yeah, who says fairy types are weak or weird. They are strong. You see that Mimikyu? You can be just as strong maybe stronger."

Mimikyu nodded, "Kyuu."

Lillie smiled, she remembered when her brother had met Mimikyu, the poor thing was drenched in the rain. His previous trainer had abandoned him calling him a freak of nature and unnatural. Gladion who was running an errand heard what was said and battled with the trainer who was annoyed at being caught red handed. Gladion who was feeling vindictive decided to bet all their Pokemon in the battle and won against the trainer taking the rest of the five Pokemon from the trainer as well.

The Pokemon were wary at first but soon enough warmed up to the siblings after Mimikyu explained what had happened. It turns out their trainer had a history of mentally abusing her Pokemon to the point, three of her Pokemon ran away. Lillie had cried when she heard the story and promised to help look for them around the island. The other five Pokemon had settled themselves in the large garden slash reserve that surrounded their home. The other five Pokemon, beside Mimikyu were a Trumbeak, Butterfree, Alolan Raichu and a red and blue Oricorio. Back to the stadium, Wigglytuff and Ursaring had started an all out brawl and were snarling and growling at each other.

Ethan, "Seismic toss."

Ash, "Disarming voice."

Just as Ursaring was about to toss Wigglytuff, the fairy type used disarmed voice and escaped from Ursaring's hold. She laughed at her opponent's confused look before the bear realized what had happened and roared angrily making her laugh more.

Ash, "I swear taunt is her egg move or something."

Pikachu nodded, "Pi pikachu pikapi."

Primeape laughed, "Ap ap ap ap."

Ash poked Primeape, "Hush you. You have no right to laugh, she uses it on you too, if I remember right."

Primeape's nose turned red as Ash looked away and Pikachu gave him a judgemental look when he heard his mumbling.

Ash, "Something tells me, I don't want to know what he just said."

Ethan who had been observing them commented, "You are different."

Ash looked at him, "A good different I hope."

Ethan gave a toothy grin, "Yup, I like you. Let's be friends no matter the outcome."

Ash lifted an eyebrow and before giving a grin, "Thanks. And sure why not. Now use gyro ball."

Ethan, "Hyper beam."

Ursaring attacked using hyperbeam as Wigglytuff used gyro ball to roll around the field dodging the attack. She got closer and closer before adding agility to the attack and sped up against Ursaring just as the female bear was about to launch. Ursaring gave a roar as she was hit and fell to the bathroom unconscious and Wigglytuff stood up panting due to exhaustion.

Announcer, "Ursaring is unable to battle, Wigglytuff has won the third match. And now the battlefield will be changing."

Ash, "Wigglytuff return, get some rest."

Ethan, "Thank you for the battle Ursaring, you were amazing. Don't worry we won't go down without a fight."
