Jhoto

Silver chuckled, "Ah! I heard of Alain, he defeated Kalos Elite 4 and is planning on challenging either Champion Yvonne or Champion Diantha."

Ash, "Wait, one of them? They have double Champions?"

Silver, "Yup, apparently it makes keeping the peace and order a lot more easier and after what happened there the last few weeks, I honestly can't blame them. So many dead and for what? An old relic?"

Ash mumbled, "I'm just happy Serena is with Misty and the other girls away from that mess. Alain refused to leave his region and is hell bent on stabilizing it. It was the main reason for the call I think, he looked quite exhausted on the video call."

Silver sighed standing next to Ash, "Life can be a bitch sometimes."

The two talked for a bit before turning in for the night. The next day they reached the City Silver was talking about. To say Max was excited was an understatement but then again Brock was pretty excited too. The two vigilantes Gligarman and Gligargirl could be seen doing rounds across the city building rooftops. Their Gligars who were their partners were helping them along side their colony who kept an eye out for trouble.

Brock, "Gligargirl I'm your biggest fan."

Casey, "No, I'm her biggest fan. Gligargirl you are awesome."

Ash stifled his snicker, 'Fan boy and fan girl.'

Max, "Gligarman is with her, they are so cool."

Gou, "They make an awesome team."

Silver, "They are awesome, they risk their lives to keep the City safe."

Ash, "Yeah, best of luck Gligarman and Gligargirl."

Gou, "Yeah, we are cheering you on."

Max, "Stay safe!"

Brock, "I'm cheering you louder, Gligargirl."

Casey, "I'm cheering for you the loudest."

Gligarman, "Looks like you have some die hard fans."

Gligargirl who was blushing under her mask, "Don't start going jealous on me now Dad."

Gligarman, "Jealous? No, not at all, I'm actually very proud."

Gou, "Hey look guys, they got merch here."

Casey, "I'm getting that Gligargirl doll."

Brock, "I want one too."

Ash sweatdropped, 'Die hard fans.'

Max, "Don't you want one?"

Ash, "I'm good."

Lucario, -Those Gligars are well trained.-

Silver, "Not surprising, considering they are this City's strongest protection, they must be well trained."

Gou, "Yeah, you are right."

Silver, "Next stop is a farm for Mareep, Flaaffy and Ampharos. It's a very famous for it's wool and wool products."

Casey perked up, "Oh I know that place, I stopped by when I travelled for the first time."

Gou, "Do you think we could catch a Mareep?"

Casey grinned, "I already have an Ampharos, he was a Flaaffy that I bonded with while at the farm. So if you bond with one I have no doubt you will be able to have one."

Max, "Can I get one too, Ash?"

Ash, "Well, to be honest I was actually hoping Shroomish would evolve first, how is the training for the solar beam and double team coming?"

Max beamed, "We got double team down, but solar beam is taking time. We have been able to collect enough energy for solar beam but we are unable to shoot it yet."

Ash nodded, 'If I remember right, double team and solar beam for Shroomish is around level twenty three to thirty three, and evolution was level twenty four or was it, twenty six?'

Ash, "Okay, I'll train you on the road, by the time we reach the farm, Shroomish will probably be close to evolving."

Brock who was reading a book, "Yup, you got it correct. Guess we are training on the road."

Casey, "Yeah, wellll, it won't be different from daily training except it'll be on the roadside."

Silver, "Want to train with my Breloom?"

Shroomish perked up, "Shroom shroom shroomish."

Ash grinned, "I think that's a big yes."

Silver finished his dinner, "Okay then, I will call my Breloom tonight and we'll start training tomorrow."

Max and Shroomish cheered and finished their own dinner and rushed to wash up and get some good sleep. Ash and Casey grinned and followed the idea, planning on training in the morning as well. Gou, Brock and Silver spent a few hours talking before turning in as well for the night. Gou was sharing a room with Ash, while Silver and Brock had a room, while Casey and Max shared one. The next day, aside from Gou and Brock the rest of the team went out training early morning stopping for breakfast.

Max, "We are close to mastering solar beam."

Shroomish beamed, "Shroom."

Ash, "Good job, Max, Chikorita here has started learning sunny day and hopefully will soon move to solar beam."

Chikorita puffed up, "Chiko!"

Casey, "That's awesome Chikorita. Good job Max."

Meganium, "Mega meganium mega."

Ash, "Oh!"

Casey, "My poke egg is shaking."

Brock, "We'll give you space, go sit with your poke egg."

Casey nodded and sat with her Pokemon around her, "Hey baby, come on, momma is waiting."

Meganium cooed, "Mega ga ni ga."

Dewgong, "Deeew."

Pichu, "Pi pi pichu."

Beedrill, "Bzzzz."

Electabuzz, "Buzzzz."

Jolteon, "Jolteon."

Sunkern, "Sun sun."

The poke egg glowed brighter and brighter before it started to take shape. The paws came out before the tail did and Casey couldn't help but blink twice. Ash and the group waited as Casey started to coo and welcome the new addition to her family before calling them over.

Silver gaped, "That's an Espurr!"

Brock, "Espurr are native to Galar, aren't they?"

Silver nodded, "Yes, you said this one was a rescue?"

Casey, "Yeah, Mandy rescued her, is it a her? Yeah, her poke egg."

Ash, "Something wrong Silver?"

Silver sighed, "A Meowstic trainer reported his Pokemon's egg missing a few months ago."

Max, "Do you think this is that poke egg?"

Silver, "It's possible but you never know."

Casey, "I think we should contact them."

Gou, "Are you sure Casey?"

Casey nodded, "I thought that the trainer was an uncaring jerk but what if he is still looking for her?"

Silver, "Alright I'll sent in a buzz. The report was made at Ecruteak City. So we might meet the trainer there."

Espurr, "Purrrrr, purrrrr."

Casey, "Ah! So adorable I hope I don't have to fight to keep you."

Ash, "I'm sure, it won't come to that Casey."

Brock, "Yeah, it's obvious you love Espurr."

Max, "This is so awesome, right Shroomish?"

Shroomish, "Shroom."

Silver, "We will give you privacy to bond with the little one."

Ash, "Yeah."

Casey smiled at them and cooed at Espurr who made herself comfortable on her lap as she started to drink the milk prepared for baby Pokemon. They soon reached the farm famous for it's wool in Jhoto, it took three days to reach and during the three days, Shroomish mastered solar beam. Max was sure the mushroom Pokemon would evolve soon, he was excited and scared about it as it would be a big change.

Max, "Shroomish look, so many Mareep."

Shroomish, "Shroom."

Casey, "Ampharos come out. Remember this place?"

Ampharos, "Ampharos. Amph am."

Casey, "Yeah, we are back at the farm."

Ampharos gave a happy roar and rushed off to meet his old friends. The group followed after the happy electric type and met a young Mareep trainer called Mary. Her mother Ellen welcomed Casey back very happily and greeted Ampharos who happily greeted her back. Ash took the chance to relax and let his youngest Pokemon have fun and enjoy while Gou and Max looked around for a possible Pokemon to add to their team and family.

Max, "Hello."

Flaaffy, "Flaaa."

Mareep, "Maaaeee."

Shroomish, "Shroom shroom."

Gou, "They are so cute. I don't know how to pick one."

Max hugged one, "So fluffy."

Shroomish was on top of one, "Shrooom~"

Pikachu was meanwhile on top of Ash's head, "Pika pika pikapi."

Ash chuckled, "No need to thank me bud, yeah they do come on very strong, don't they?"

Lucario sweat dropped, -Easily excitable.-

Brock, "They enjoy absorbing passive electricity, as it's good for their health."

Silver, "My Electrivire is enjoying himself though."

Gou joined them, "I caught one. It was a toss up between male and female but Max and I decided to get a different gender each."

Cinderace, "Ace."

Max, "Yeah, she is joining Shroomish and I, while he is joining Gou."

Shroomish, "Shroom."

Silver, "There is an Elite Pokemon school close by here."

Casey scowled, "I know."

Ash, "What's wrong Casey?"

Casey, "Nothing."

Max, "It's not nothing seeing how upset you look."

Brock, "We don't have to go there."

Gou, "We can find another way."

Casey shook her head, "It's not the school, it's just one of my cousins studies there and he is full of himself. It can be really embarrassing."

Ash sweatdropped, "Oh!"

Casey grumped, "Yeah."

Silver laughed, "Family, you can't avoid them nor can you let them be."

Max gave a laugh, "I think I get it."

Casey sighed, "Might as well go and see what he has done and if I have to apologize to someone on his behalf. He certainly won't."

Brock, "Is he younger than you?"

Casey, "No, he is two years older."

Gou, "Seriously?"

Max, "Makes you wonder who is the adult."

Casey, "Well might as well get to it, right?"

As they were walking through the area where the elite school was located they were attacked by two Scizors. Lucario, Cinderace and Meganium intercepted the attacks and battled the two bug and steel type Pokemon who it seems belonged to someone. And true to their suspicions a man came out clapping his hands praising them.

Casey, "Murasama Sensei! It's been a while."

Murasama, "Little Casey, it has been two years, look at you now."

Max, "You know each other?"

Casey nodded, "Yes, he is the head teacher at the elite school..... Is Shingo here?"

Murasama smiled, "Yes, I believe he is training at the moment."

Max, "Are we meeting your cousin?"

Casey, "Only if you want to, I promised my aunt I would keep an eye on him."

Ash, "Let's go meet him. You said you wanted to make sure he stayed out of trouble right?"

Silver, "We'll help you."

Murasama smiled, "Looks like you made wonderful friends Casey."

Casey, "Of course I did, I'm not hopeless Sensei."

Murasama laughed, "Indeed, indeed. Off you go."

Casey grinned and went in search for Shingo, "Okay, I think he should be righhttttt there he is. Shingo!"

Shingo looked up from where he was focusing, "Ah, if it isn't the baby of the family, did you come back for more advice?"

Casey huffed, "More like I'm here to make sure you are not causing trouble."

Shingo pinched her cheek, "Oh? Who is the older one among the two of us?"

Casey, "Oiiii! Dat hurtsch! Cut it out."

Max, "All of a sudden I kinda, miss May."

Ash laughed, "They are pretty close aren't they?"

Murasama, "They are."

Brock, "Sensei, have you known them for long?"

Murasama, "You could say that, in fact I have known them since they were toddlers."

Gou, "Sounds like you have a lot of good stories about them."

Shingo, "Oi Sensei! You better not be spreading embarrassing stuff about us."

Murasama gave a smile, "Of course not, but I just can't resist you know? You were so adorable when you were young. Besides I am only telling them what is true."

Shingo, "Sensei... Huh? Hey is that an albino Abra and a shiny Eevee?"

Ash, "Yes?"

Shingo, "Albinos and Shinies are very rare and you have one each, wait I remember your battles, you have three other Shinies right?"

Ash nodded, "Yup!"

Casey, "It's not normal I tell you."

Casey pointed at Gou, "He has a Shiny Furret."

Shingo, "Seriously?"

Gou laughed, "Yeah, I guess, we are just lucky."

Shingo, "Too lucky."

Brock grinned, "How about I make dinner, it's getting late."

Ash, "Hot pot?"

Max, "Hot pot sounds good."

Casey, "I think we have enough ingredients for hot pot."

Shingo, "And you can tell me about all the things you have been up to on your travels during dinner."

Casey agreed and Murasama gave them permission to use the school kitchen for one night. They grinned and after a few minutes of preparation other students came in out of curiosity and decided on having hot pot as well, it smelled quite good. Casey told Shingo about her adventures and her run in with Team Rocket which got a few worried looks from the older students. Ash asked what that was about when he noticed and they explained the school was attacked a few days ago by that organisation. There were still five Pokemon and three people missing, there was a search going on but so far nothing. Casey frowned on hearing that and the group nodded deciding to keep an eye out just in case.
