Goblins, Moving

Once they ranked up they rested for about two days. Elizabeth was in the tavern part of the guild when a woman came bursting through the door crying she was saying stuff like there attacking can't defend and help in between walling. The front desk lady calmed her down a bit and asked her what was happening the woman said her village was being attacked by goblins. The front desk lady asked if she wanted to start a quest the woman agreed. The front desk lady said she needed to put some money down in advance but the woman had no money on her the front desk lady had to refuse her request the lady was crying and fell to her knees. Elizabeth decided she heard enough and walked over to the woman.

Elizabeth: Ma'am I would be willing to help you.

Lady: Really.

Elizabeth: Sure.

Receptionist: Elizabeth I'm sorry but I can't count this as a quest so you will be liable for all damage.

Elizabeth: That's fine I will be careful.

They needed to hurry so the lady only took Elizabeth they eventually reached the village. There were goblins everywhere and what looked like there were corpses of some of the residence the lady started crying again. After seeing this a group of goblins heard her and ran towards her once they got close they stopped and fell over Elizabeth had ran over and cut them before anyone knew what had happened. A goblin saw this and blew a horn a bunch of goblins came running Elizabeth walked in front of the lady and held her ground swing after swing the goblins were dropping like flies. Elizabeth called out her shroud the goblins were confused about what they were looking at a goblin walked to it and poked it the shroud engulfed it in less than a second. The other goblins started screaming and ran towards it the shroud ate goblin after goblin. After they took out the ones that met them they swept the village killing any goblins they found. After they were confident they got them all Elizabeth announced that it was safe. People came out of their houses and mourned the dead the chief of the village walked to Elizabeth to thank her. He tried to give her some money but Elizabeth refused and actually gave them some money.

Elizabeth: I had an idea if you are open to it.

Chief: Of Course anything.

Elizabeth: If I help fix and even improve the village how would you feel about me and my friends making this out base of operations.

Chief: I think that would be wonderful and I'm sure the rest of the villagers would be happy and feel safer with you around.

Elizabeth: Sounds like a deal let me inform my friends and buy some supplies from town.

Elizabeth made her way back to the town to inform the rest of the party. They were fine with this as staying in inns every night was annoying and buying a big enough house would be too expensive. They got all their supplies and some more for the village and moved in.
