Bag of Potatoes

3rd POV:

It has only been a few days since the entrance exams for Coper High, but for Y/N, it felt like decades. She was really keen on getting the results that would determine whether she was to be accepted or not, so she went out with her friends to the farmers' market to get her mind off of things.

The main reason why Y/N decided to go to the farmers' market was because her mother had her to go out and buy some ingredients for the dinner that she was going to make, and the other reason why was because she also wanted to spend more time with her friends, who Y/N didn't get to meet up with for a month. Since it was mid November, it was pretty chilly so Y/N decided to play it safe and wear a pair of denim jeans, a purple-ish turtle neck, black platform boots, and a leather coat.

She texted her friends to say that she was on her way and that in ten minutes she would be there.

1st POV:

I bid my family goodbye and went off on my merry way, putting my headphones on and blasting my playlist. Walking towards the train station, I noticed a group of guys much older than me eyeing me up and down, so I started walking faster in hopes of getting to where I was headed quicker

"Awee, did we scare the pretty lady awaay?" One of the men called out.

"Dammn girl! I'd hit that any day of the week!" Another one sneered. They all started laughing at their friend's remark.

"Um, please leave me alone.." I piped out, really creeped out. They all turned to look at me and then burst out laughing, "So she speaks!" one yelled out. There were already a bunch of people stopping to see what all the commotion was, "Come on pretty girl.." another guy from the group began, while stalking towards me, "We're all bark but no bite" he continued. So I did the one thing that every reasonable person would do in this annoying situation. I got on all fours, charged at them, and started barking and hissing at them in hopes that they would get the message across and leave me alone. And by the gods they did, how funny, one look at my crazy ass and they took off running.

I got back on my feet, held my head up high, and marched forwards to where I really needed to go. In the distance, I could the men yelling and screeching, 'What a crazy bitch!' or 'What the fuck was that? That's it! I'm deathly afraid of women now!'.

Chuckling to myself, I texted my friends what happened so that they wouldn't bombard me with questions when I got there.

Time Skip *10 mins*

The first things I saw when I got off the train were my whole friend group waiting on the platform, all looking very worried. There were some "Y/N! Finally! Are you sure you're ok?"s or some "Man what you texted us, that was so fucking funny! There should've been a video not gonna lie!"s. I assured them that I was fine and that those guys didn't do anything else to me, I noticed Shawn and Michael and went to hug them a "Hello" then went on our merry way to the market to look around and buy some things.

We all started joking around and walking towards the farmer's market, 'Man.. I really missed being with my friends; Michael, Shawn, Yadira, Jennesis, Chase, and Chris.' I thought to myself. Within minutes, the our nostrils were soon violated by all the smells of all of the different spices and products on display for other potential costumers to gawk at. "Woah! Look at all this food!" Yadira exclaimed while tugging at Chase's sleeve.

"Yeahh, it also seems like its much busier than usual" Chris commented, we all nodded, "At least the usual vendors are gaining more money" Shawn added. I pulled out the list that my mum left on the counter and took a look, then grimaced, 'Since when did we start eating eggplants? Oh well'

We walked around looking for a place to meet up later because we were all going to spilt up later. "Uhh, how about there?" Jennesis suggested, pointing towards a coffee shop, "Yeah sure, everyone else okay with that spot?" Chase said. We were all ok with that place so we all went our separate ways. All I needed to buy was fresh fruits and vegetables and some sweets for my siblings, nice and easy, and at least I don't have to listen to the twin's stupid bickering and mum's scolding. The list says that I need to get: Eggplants x2, Bag of potatoes (1kg), Oranges x4, Spicy&Salty Crisps x5, Peaches x4, Watermelon, some random chocolate bars, Strawberries, Carrots x3, Brownie Ice-cream, Spring Onions x2, Celery, and Bananas. Ok then, consider it done!

Time Skip *30 mins*

'Ughh finally... Took too damn long to find the fucking crisps' I thought as I was walking back to the coffee shop. "I wonder if they're already there" I said out loud. Lo and behold, they aren't. Welp, gives me more time to look at my phone. Setting the bags down, I sat down and pulled out my phone ready to reward myself for being able to find the crisps.

And just as I pull out my phone my friends come into view, "Eh.. whatever, it was fun while it lasted" I muttered under my breath. "Y/N!~ We're baack!~" Yadira sang out while jumping around with shopping bags swishing around her wrists, "Yadira, darling, how the fuck does that not hurt you.." I questioned. Everyone else seemed much more calm compared to earlier, which is an awesome thing, its nice to see everyone enjoying themselves in my opinion. "What did you guys buy?" I asked my friends as I was picking my bags up again; "Some spicy things for tonight's dinner" said Shawn, "Junk food for myself" Jennesis said, "Same as Jennesis!" exclaimed Yadira while hugging Jennesis, (I almost forgot to mention that Jennesis and Yadira are dating), "Just some veggies" Chase shrugged, "Both me and Michael bought fruits, vegetables, and something from the fish monger" Chris said while holding up a bag. "Well I got fruits, vegetables and some junk food" I stated, "Anyways, should we head back to our homes?" Michael suggested to which we all, obviously, agreed.

Time Skip *10 mins*

3rd POV

Everyone else got back to their homes safely which just left Y/N and Michael alone. "Hey Michael." "Yeah?" "Did you move houses? Cause you would usually be home by now" Y/N asked. "Uhh.. No I didn't, I just wanted to walk you home after what happened earlier today" Michael said in a ridiculously serious manner. Y/N stifled a laugh then said, "Well, thank you, I appreciate it but you really didn't have to. Besides, my house is just a 2 minutes walk from the station." "And it also only takes 2 minutes for somebody to snatch you up and take you someplace that you don't know then kill you" he responded. The silence that continued after was unbearable but short lived when Y/N jokingly piped out, "So are you saying that I can't defend myself because I'm a girl?" but Michael just had to take things seriously and say, "Well.. Yes AND no..." followed by "Uhm anyways, were here! I'm gonna take my leave now. Buh-bye" and with that, he ran away leaving a shocked and angry Y/N behind, "Bye.." she responded.

1st POV

"I'M HOME MUM, DAD. I GOT THE THINGS YOU GUYS ASKED ME FOR!" I yelled out for my family while taking my shoes off and placing the bags down, "WELCOME HOME Y/N DARLING" my mum was the first out of my family to respond back to me. I went up to my room and changed into something more comfortable then went back downstairs to help my parents with dinner and to put some of the groceries in the refrigerator, "Thank you for going out of your way to buy groceries for us, Y/N darling" my mum thanked me as she took the bags from me, "No problem mum, I needed to get out of the house anyways, and I also missed my friends sooo.. its a win-win type of thing" I replied while I was sitting down on the nearest chair I could find, "Y/N darling, if you want, you can go to your room and take a nap until I call you for dinner. If you're tired that is" she suggested, "Oh and your father and siblings are out on a camping trip and they won't be back until tomorrow" she quickly added.

"Alright cool, thanks mum. And yeah, I am going to take a nap" I said as I kissed her on the cheek, "Alright then darling" she replied as I was walking back up the stairs to my room.

The minute I got to my room, I crashed onto my bed and let out a sigh of relief, "Ahhh~, I finally get the house to myself for a few hours, how cool is that" giggling, I closed my eyes. Now we wait until mum calls us, and with that I was out like a light.
