The atmosphere inside the shuttle instantly turned ice cold. Derrick didn't know if it was the climate or the killing intent of the black squad members which caused the temperature to change. Everyone became wary of his smile and even Lucia was too.
Lucia already knew Derricks strength through her confrontation with him at the lab and the recent fight with him seemed effortlessly easy. This added to her uneasy feeling she already had but now that she heard Derricks request she felt compelled to answer even though she didn't want to as if bewitched by his voice. The countenance which was unfazed was a temporary pretence but inside her two different wills were constantly conflicting to produce a clear solution.
Lucia's brain almost overclocked, instantly making her decision as she closed her eyes at the same time pulling out her gun which pointed toward Derrick. She was scared of Derrick, as long as he was conscious she felt that something bad might happen. She did remember those cards but she wasn't worried because the cuffs halted magic flows inside his body. But the blue capsule was something she was afraid of and she didn't know if that could appear from thin air just as the cards and she wasn't aware of the fact that the blue capsule was only a single-use item, unlike the cards. And soon she gave her command.
"Tranquillize him. Good night darling maybe I might answer your question when you wake up. Hehe."
Following her commands, the squad members similarly raised their guns and the nearest one took out a tranquillizer to inject Derrick and as soon as the syringe pierced Derricks neck the head of the one tranquillizing was instantly blown off. Derrick had his face covered with blood and some flesh was sticking to his face.
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM
In an instant following the first gunshot, numerous shots repeated after. All the heads of the black squad members were missing and only their bodies were still seated. The walls of the shuttle was splattered with blood and mushy substances. Only three people were left, one of them was Derrick who was still smiling and the two was Lucia and her clone.
Derrick looked like a psycho with his smile still present, it seemed as if his awakening and integration had brought him great tolerance towards the nauseating situation. Similarly, there was no sympathy in his eyes for his enemy.
Derrick had witnessed the whole scene, Lucia had her eyes closed the whole time and the instant Derrick was pierced by the syringe, her clone automatically appeared snatching away the gun from Lucia instantly making every black suit headless. Derrick was now sure that the real Lucia was still affected by the terms of the contract even though her clone was the one who signed the agreement.

Derrick had already seen her status when Lucia had arrived in his room to capture him and which was why he had to duel her to know if she was still her maid as shown in her status. He didn't know how her clone managed to go through the wormhole and reach Gutenberg but he knew the ability was a strong one and her real body must have been left back in Earth.
Lucia had opened her eyes and her expression revealed only horror at her current situation. She wasn't aware that she had made a contract with Derrick or the Books. Her clone was the one who had made the contract the only thing she knew was that now she wasn't able to hurt Derrick by any means and back when she had body locked him, she was intending to break a few bones but for some reason, her body wasn't listening to her.
"What happened? Did you make me do this?"
"Yes.....I guess and make sure to do the same in the future too. But first before the explanation do you mind uncuffing me now as you are now an accomplice?"
Derrick was happy he had gained a reliable comrade and he wasn't exactly going to play with her by hiding the truth. He wanted her to know what her situation was.
Similarly, Lucia didn't have any choice but to uncuff Derrick. She was still wary thinking Derrick might order her to do something even more extreme. She wasn't shocked at all that she killed her underlings but she was instead baffled by how she was being controlled by means unknown to her.
Derrick was set free from the restraints but he felt that he was forgetting something. And as soon as he had this thought his vision blurred before he fell unconscious.
'Shit! The injection?'
The shuttle was in autopilot and no one was occupying the cockpit . The plasma guns were not loud enough to alert the neighbouring shuttles but the communication disruption had alerted them. And one of the shuttles received video footage from the camera planted on the shuttle Derrick was on which halted their flight. Derrick had already gone to sleep due to the sedative from the tranquillizer and Lucia was the only one left to face the problem alone.
Lucia had no choice but to get captured similarly to Derrick. And as Derrick said she was an accomplice now. The shuttles were headed to a place covered by ice storms. As they approached the storm one could see the shadow of a huge rocky monument. It was the place where the most dangerous prison in Earth was located. The shuttles dove into the storms unhindered passing the storm in a few seconds.
In the middle of the huge snowy mountain stood a circular pillar-like structure which was tall enough to Peirce the clouds. It was the cruellest prison on Earth named ice hell. The shuttle landed on a clearing that wasn't covered by snow. Derrick was dragged towards the entrance still unconscious while Lucia followed the other members with her hands cuffed.
"kekeke the scoundrel has finally been caught, I'll torture him to death wait, no, no, no I have to retrieve Athena first."
"No, Joseph you can't kill or torture him, he is the only son of the Burningstorm family. You must have heard of the title, 'Hercules' that is."
Joseph brow instantly creased as his lips twitched as soon as heard the name not willing to give up his intentions. He had heard legends of the mythical title and how it was developed to prominence. Just imagining his accomplishments sent shivers down his spine.
