The relations between the Storms had completely captured Derricks interest. They were still in the newly acquired training room but their interest had completely shifted towards the conversation regarding the storms.
Derrick was staring at Lucia as if he was already head over heel for her and Lucia was the teacher here explaining each and every detail Derrick wasn't aware of.
"And by their names, you must have probably guessed but let me still explain, the Burningstorms have the ability to control both fire and wind, The Freezingstorms controls ice and wind , the Thunderstorms controls thunder and wind, finally the Foreststorms which controls wood and wind."
"Even though they are not elementals who doesn't have the capability of controlling all the elements, they still can control a few. And, a person controlling a few elements is extremely rare. The storms are born with two elements already awakened but a very few through luck and talent are able to awaken a third and even a fourth as they grow up. These select few become outstanding powerful individuals. But strangely why don't I see any sign of you being and elemental."
"Are you really a Burningstorm? You should able control fire and wind if you are one."
Derrick's knowledge of the storm were rekindled. He hadn't known or met any storms other than himself besides his father and even his father didn't reveal any of his abilities. All his father demonstrated to him when he was a child was basic aura control which was physical techniques. Although he did remember his father smoking without any sign of a lighter being lit and in the end Derricks mother would always drag his father away when he started to smoke near him.
'It must be the fire element lighting up his cigarettes then.'
Derrick was still a Burningstorm, however, he din't enjoy the capability of controlling any elements. All he had in his inventory was his super strength and it was a given for a person with dragon blood running inside their bodies. He attributed to his lack of elements due to the dominant trait being his mothers who was a genuine dragon.
Lucia's question did somehow effect him emotionally, it was basic anxiety born from the thought of being inferior amongst the children in the family.
Derrick felt that his father hadn't introduced him to the Storms because of the abnormality thad he hadn't awakened any elemental abilities. And, he knew the Storms didn't stay on Earth.
Derricks inferiority complex was flaring up before instantly getting extinguished by a burning sensation in his body. It was the same feeling that he had when was surrounded by black squad of the lifeguard army. A calm and composed feeling which let him analyse situations. It was definitely Athena assisting in the thinking process but the burning sensation was mysteriously from another unknown source. Derrick felt his body heating up to an incredible level but it didn't seem to negatively effect him in any way, instead Derrick felt comfort and safe with the ignition of this unknown feeling.
His mind was afloat in ecstasy caused by the strange feeling. He was relaxed to an extreme degree that he might fall into a slumber if he wanted to but for now he didn't want to sleep yet. He needed to train to survive the prison arena. And before he knew it the strange feeling had completely disappeared.
"Hey did you just advance again?"
Lucia's question made him realise he was sweating and it seemed to contain impurities which made it a little bid darker. It wasn't like his major breakthrough with the injection of the D-serum where he was covered by gooey substance, it was only minute amount of impurities.
He also noticed Lucia was in similar situation to him, she was sweating. Derrick didn't know why she was sweating but he noticed her sweat inside her jumpsuit was running down the opening between her perky breasts, her cleavage revealed a valley of sweat which flowed down from her neck and nape. Seeing her arousing appearance now made him realise that Lucia was still a girl which he had momentarily forgotten because of the clone incident but now she was similar to a helpless human contracted to a devil. And the contract would still work wonders if he wanted it to. But before his his evil delusions could become reality, a tray filled with foods appeared out of thin air in the training room.
Seeing this Derrick remembered he hadn't eaten a single food for two days in a row and now his hunger had resurfaced.
Disregarding his appearance he pounced in on the food, devouring them slowly. His actions became ferocious when he held meat, while his hands move in a extreme speed when he chose to experience the numerous side dishes. Lucia was no different but she was more elegant in the process to engulf the food.
The tray was large enough to be called a banquet table which held numerous dishes. Derrick didn't know why a meal of this scale was provided to both of them in Ice hell but deep inside he appreciated this unnecessary service with great reverence to the unknown benefactor although Derrick had a hunch it was still Edmund.
Derricks appetite was like a black hole, it didn't seem like his devouring process would end any moment and he was similarly surprised at his great appetite. He wasn't like this before his initial bloodline awakening, he realised his body metamorphosis had experienced a fundamental change after the bloodline awakening which seemed to have also significantly effected his appetite in a good way or maybe even bad depending on the situation.
Lucia was quietly staring after having her fill of the meal. Her appetite wasn't monstrous enough to be compared to Derricks. And after a short while, Derrick was lying on the ground his tummy was bulged to such degree people would have mistaken his stomach for a camel hump.
Derrick after satiating his hunger was in deep contemplation while staring at the ceiling. Lucia didn't know what was going on in the little devils head but she was staring at him unwilling to remove her attention form Derrick, her master.
"Would you train me Lucia?"
In an instant Derrick was up an active, his eyes were now clear full of energy and enthusiasm.
He had made his resolve, even though he was still in prison he wanted to improve. Even compared to Lucia, he was still weak. He only managed to win because of the berserk capsule. And even in closed combat Lucia had at least some amount proficiency which was unquestionable greater than Derrick who didn't know anything. Even though he was a dragon with great physical strength, he wasn't able to utilise them with any form of efficiency. He was power drunk.
He finally decided to make his maid a teacher.
