Chapter 87

"Student, wake up please! Student, it's already late, I need to close the library.'' The librarian wakes me up after I had accidentally fallen asleep on the table in the public library.

''Ah! I am so sorry!'' I hurry myself up as I throw in my books into my bag.

Without wasting any more time, I slightly bowed at her before rushing out the empty library. I just realised that's the time was late in the evening and I haven't finished revising my studies.

'Damn... I shouldn't take a nap back then...I wonder how was Yui doing since I didn't talk to her even a single word after that fight...' My thoughts were running wild in my head as I kick the pebble down the street.

*Buzz...Buzz..*

All of a sudden, my phone was vibrating non stop in my pocket. I immediately took out my phone to see who might be calling for me and it turns out to be my mother. My eyes rolled up after I felt a bit pissed off of her. She was the type that will never give me a peaceful time by being alone outside. But I have no choice but to pick this call up.

''Good evening, mo—"

''What on earth are you doing alone outside without anyone else by your side, Shibata Sakura?! Do you know how much I worry about you after Yui told me you went out all alone out there at this hour? You are so grounded young lady!'' Her loud noise was booming through my phone.

''Well, I am sorry not to tell you that I am going to the library myself—"

''Just stay put wherever you are. I will ask someone to come and pick you up right now. Send me your location and the driver will be there in a few minutes.''

''Okay. Then, I will be hanging my phone first. See you later mother, love you.''

''Sakura—"

Before she could even finish her word, I just hang up my call because I can't stand hearing her yelling at me. While I send my location to her, I sit by the empty street that was not far away from the library. Soon, I notice that the sky began to darken in black.

'When will I be able to befriend with Yui and Ichika ever again? Maybe I should apologise to them tomorrow... I think I should send both of them a quick message that I want to apologise to them...'

I take out my phone and began to type something on the screen. I find it sounds awkward so I erase it and type a new one until it doesn't sound cocky at some point for a few times. In the end, I end up with something that sounds like this,

''I am sorry for being rude last time. Can we meet tomorrow at the cafe? I would like to talk to you face to face.'

I send that message to both of them. (Well I just copy-paste the same message from Yui's chat first because I am just to lazy to rethink a new one for Ichika.) Clutching my phone tightly in my hand, I felt quite anxious about it.

''I wonder will they ever forgive me...'' I bury my head on my knees as I murmured to myself.

''I think they will.''

All of a sudden, I felt a chill running down my back after I heard a familiar voice from the behind. The person in a black hoodie covered my mouth with a cloth and instantly my head feel a bit dizzy before I let lose my phone. The last thing I heard was the sound of my phone fall on the street before my vision blackout.

''Sakura-san, wake up. Sakura-san~" The familiar voice called out for me after I feel my shoulder was shaken a few time by that person.

''Ugh...'' I slowly open my eyes. The bright light was stinging my eyes for a bit after I try my best to see who was there in front of me.

As I wanted to rub my eyes, I felt that my wrist was tied up by a piece of rope against the chair that I was sitting on. After a few struggling attempts were made, I finally realized that I was in a bad situation. I tilt up my head to only see that person was someone I know.

''You?! What are you doing this to me, Yuuto-san?! Let go of me, you bastard!'' I scolded at the red-haired boy who was smirking at me.

''Not after you answer my question, Sakura-san. If you answer my three-question honestly, I will let you go. HOWEVER, if you answer it wrongly I will stab this beautiful thing into your legs every time you lie to me. It must've been wonderful to see you screaming in pain while pleading me for my mercy.'' He pointed at me a sharp pointy knife towards me.

''Don't worry, Sakura-san~ I wouldn't kill you because I was not that cruel person but if you tick my nerves off, I am sorry to say that I might just bleed you to death with this knife of mine. And if you were lucky enough, you might stand the chance to win your life after this. Now, please do try your best to answer my questions honestly.''

'This guy is crazy! I need to think a way for me to escape from here...' I silently think to myself.

''Question number one, are you involve in Miyu's parent's death?'' Yuuto showed number one with his finger as he looked at me.

''No! There's no way I would—" I try to deny it because I know it wasn't my fault that causes that bitch's parents death but I turn out to be saying the wrong answer.

''Aww...Unfortunately, you got this one wrong. So here is your punishment.'' He instantly stabbed my right thigh with the knife and pull it back in a single motion. The sharp pain around my thigh causing me to scream on top of my lung despite the pain.

''ARGHH!!! Help!!!'' My tears uncontrollably rolled down my cheek as I cry for help.

''Oh, I forget to tell you one thing, Sakura-san. This was an abandoned place that was placed deep in the mountains where hunters used to take a rest here. So, shout all you want because...*whisper* no one will ever find you here. Hahahahaha!'' He suddenly laughed like a total psycho as he ignored my cry.

''Yuuto please stop this madness! I promise you that I will give you everything you want as long as you let go of me. I will tell you everything I know about Takahashi's death.'' I cried.

I tell him all I know about how Yui called Saito to make his dirty work and how did he end up killing her parents instead. I also tell him that it was Yui who wanted all of these and how she makes the decision without telling me this.

''I only know about this after Saito called me few days after the news of the Takahashi's death. He keeps on asking for money to keep this down and I don't even know where is he hiding at this moment. Now, I have already told you everything I know about this so please let me go!'' I begged him after I felt my legs were bleeding so badly.

''Hmm... You sound convincing enough but....''

*Stab!*

''It didn't change the fact that it was you who makes her lost her parent.'' Those were the words that I last heard from him after he stabbed my stomach. I could taste my blood in my mouth as it was flowing out, bit by bit.

Instantly, my eyes grow heavy after losing my energy to the point where I find it tiring just to even move my limb. I can only hear his footprint sound walking away and leaving me behind to bleed to death. Soon, I feel my whole body is numbing and that's when I know that I am running out of time.

''Help...Please help me.'' Sakura groaned after she saw that there's a person who was standing in front of her.

''Sakura-san, I am sorry to see you in this state. Here let me end your pain as soon as possible.'' The mysterious person in a black hoodie stabbed Sakura in the chest and instantly ended her life.

''I should probably clean this place as well...Damn...that Yuuto gives me a huge headache...'' That person murmured to itself as he warped the Kumihimo bracelet on her wrist.
