Bang Bang...

Celestina's POV

I swear to god, she isn't a goddess. They are staring at her making her squirm. "So, got anything to tell us? Like you hair color." Carlotta not so subtly said.  The boys smirked a bit.

"Cakes or cookies?" Lucy questioned everyone. "Very subtle topic changing and seriously, both with chocolate!" I answered. She made a disgusted face along with Jake. "Chocolates are bitter." Jake nodded, "and bad." I glared at these-these beings who don't like chocolate.

"Chocolate is off the topic! No chocolate. Majority of us like chocolate so-No!" Carlotta stared down those two. "How did you convince her to dye her hair?" She asked. Alena still hadn't gotten over Lucy's hair. "Yes! The answer is 1945." She suddenly screamed.  We got a bunch of judging looks. Oh, we are at the lunch cafe. If you didn't know.

"We are not in class neither in high school. Tone it down and pay attention." Derek drawled. Alena immediately pouted. I mentally cringed. "We didn't have to. Celeste here helped us." Alec pointed at me. Lucy drilled holes into my head with her staring. "What? Seriously! Wow!" Carlotta kept exclaiming. She is struggling. To believe that I convinced Lucy to dye her hair. So unbelievable! Right!

"You don't mind?" Alena tested the waters. "I actually don't. It was quick. And I dyed it fully without just adding highlights. My hair looks different. I might have wear blue clothes. She has a lot of blue clothes. It might lower the brightness of my hair. My hair doesn't seem damaged. I actually love it. Maybe I should do it. You guys try it. We can get ready for the party. And might—" She was interrupted. "Girl, chill! Breath in and out!" Jake exclaimed.

She stuck her tongue out. So mature. 'You are one to talk.' My mind sassed me. Ignore my mind

"When is the party? I totally forgot about it!" Carlotta exclaimed. Everybody grunted at her excitement. Annoying short ginger head. "Friday. I guess." Alena mumbled.

Everybody deadpanned her. "That's tomorrow. We need time to get ready." Alena nodded absentmindedly. "We need two days to get ready for a freaking cliché college party?" I cried. "No, you silly. We need to choose whose house to get ready. We can get ready in one hour. All four of us." I looked at her skeptically. "Believe it or not, we are not the cliché girls who take 5 hours." I scoffed. Alena said quietly, "Let her be. She will see tomorrow."

"Right, let's see."

                    ~~~~~~~~~~~
I left the campus after bidding my goodbye to them. Blue eyed boy was variably silent. Like deep in thoughts. I tried to ignore the little of emotions and movements portrayed by everyone. It's difficult when my brain is speeding up in being its sassy observant self.
I had slowed down and I realized I had almost come to a stop. I picked up and revered my car to my mansion. All the little memories of today flashed in my mind, making me smile. They are practical goofballs and weirdos. It's a nice thing cause even I'm one. Deep inside, very deep. I reached the mansion later than intended. I ran inside to find it empty. I'm supposed to stay alone with security. No one enters the house.
Alex was nowhere to be found. He never leaves back messages. Pretending to be secretive. I called him repeatedly. As I heard him pick up with an annoyed 'Hello', I hung up. There we go. Sweet. I slowly made my way to have a shower. After a long shower and changing my clothes, I came done. I made some pasta. Too lazy to process any thought. I set down the food in a plate and dragged myself to the couch.
I turn the TV on so I could distract myself. My phone rang continuously. I was about to complete my pasta. I picked up my phone to see unknown caller. I put it on speaker, careful not to even breathe. "Ciao, Celestina." A familiar raspy voice mumbled. I let out the breathe I was holding. He softly chuckled. "Who did you think it was? A killer?" I huffed silently. "Maybe, I was just being careful." He laughed again. "When asked to be careful, you won't be. You are one of a kind." I slowly dragged the fork against my plate. "Well, you are the one who decided to have me. You should have thought about the consequences of having such a—" He cut me off. "Cara, tesoro, trovatore."
"Hey, rude! Why do you keep calling me at whimsical situations?" I dished the plate and all. I plopped again in the couch, slightly increasing the volume in the TV. "Translation: Are you spying on me? I'm sorry. I can't call my only daughter who is 7,742 km away." I chuckled. "Maybe, my dramatic behavior was from you." He chuckled. 'The only time he ever freely laughed or even smile is with me.' "What can I do about that? But, gotta admit, you are very extra." I scoffed softly. "Right—" I heard voices from the other side. "You're busy. Later." "Te amo."
I sighed, leaning against the couch. My phone dinged with messages. It was a group chat. I didn't know they had my number.
Let's go party!!!
Chocopie🙈: Tomorrow, we are going to your house after college.
Bluehair🙉: But, we have a class in the evening. We will have one or two hours.
Princesspink🙊: Yes. What....Oh! That's the point!!
Chocopie🙈: Yes! I get to say on your face after so many years of her saying it.
Blondie🙅: I have never said that in my life ever.
Chocopie🙈: Whateves. We will seee tom!
Bluehair🙉: Yes, yes. We will see when you learn the spelling of tomorrow, whatever and see.
An adoring smile creeped to my face. These little weirdos. The main door open with a bang. Bang bang..."Tina, are you okay? Are you hurt?" Alex rushed inside. "Chill, old man. What's up?" He gave me a disbelieving look. "I picked up your call but you hung up and I called a lot of times. I was worried." I laughed till my sides ached. "You fall for it every single time."
