Chapter 119:

Fuyōna had been busy these past few months, having a war to fight and a village to run. Nevertheless, he was always able to make time for his family in some way or another. He found that no matter how much work he did, he should always make time for his home life, visiting Suiren and his children as often as he could.

His son Shōto was growing big now, running around and bossing his sister around, Asami. Asami on the other hand had grown into a beautiful little girl, with great manners and sharp wit, each of them being three and a half years old now.

Fuyōna spent as much time with them as he could, always making an effort once he got home from the office, knowing that these younger years were precious and that he would never get them back if he neglected them because he had work to do.

"Daddy catch me!" Shōto shouted, jumping off the kitchen table that he had somehow managed to climb onto.

Fuyōna was quick to react as Shōto dived into the air without waiting for his father to be ready, giving Suiren a heart attack as she thought he wouldn't get there in time.

"Close one little man!" Fuyōna shouted, lifting him into the air and getting a loud giggle from the boy.

Mei smiled as she sipped her tea, watching them play together, looking to Suiren who sat back down to drink her tea also.

"Don't worry so much Suiren, Falling every now and again would be good for him." She said, causing Suiren to laugh a little.

"I know, its just..." Suiren said, knowing that Shōto wasn't her child.

"Please Suiren, its fine. We are all family here." Mei said, giving her a smile before she looked over to Asami.

"I also see Asami as my own, and would do anything for her too," Mei said, watching the child as she sat with her back turned to them, seeming to be playing with something.

Suiren noticed this and raised an eyebrow wondering what it could be.

"What have you got there dear?" She asked, sitting up a little to get a better look.

Asami turned around slowly, looking at both Mei and Suiren.

"Look mummies, I made a new toy!" She said, showing them a small yet sharp bone that she was holding in her hand, using it to draw a picture on the wooden floor.

"Oh my goodness!" Suiren shouted as she ran over to Asami and took it off of her, seeing that it was sharp.

"What do you mean you grew it?" Mei also asked, taking a look at her, knowing it could only mean one thing.

Fuyōna was still playing with Shōto, throwing him into the air, getting higher each time as he laughed and giggled until he noticed the commotion, catching him before he put him down.

"What's going on?" Fuyōna asked as he walked back into the kitchen from the garden where they had been playing.

"But Mummy, that's my toy!" Asami shouted, getting upset that Suiren had taken it off her, causing both her and Mei to look slightly concerned.

Suddenly Asami's small body started to produce bumps all over it until the bumps protruded from her body, revealing small yet sharp bones sticking out of her all over.

"Oh my!" Both Suiren and Mei said, watching their daughter look at her own body in shock, seeing that she had spikes all over her.

Fuyōna had also seen what was going on, sighing a little as he had his suspicions this was going to happen at some point.

"Oh my..." He said, laughing a little as he walked over to his daughter, kneeling down so he was eye level with her.

"What's going on daddy?" She asked, looking at her hands and arms.

"It's ok, Asami," Fuyōna said, lifting his own hand for her to look at.

"You have the same power as daddy, that's all." He said, allowing a bone to come out of his hand, causing Asami to look at him in shock.

Suiren watched with Mei, afraid that it might have been too soon for her to find out about her kekkei genkai, but she also knew that the sooner she could control it, the safer she would be.

"I'm just like you daddy!" She shouted, lifting her own hand and letting another bone come out of it, just as he had done, surprising Fuyōna a little.

"That's right Asami, just like your daddy." He said with a huge smile, looking into her bright blue eyes.

"But just like daddy, you need to control this power, as it can be dangerous to others around you," Fuyōna said, as he allowed the bone to return to his body in hope that she would be able to do the same.

Asami watched as her father's bone returned into his hand in amazement, not knowing that she could do that. She then looked at her own hand and tried her best to get it to do the same, causing the bone to suddenly return into her hand, along with the rest of the bones that had been sticking out of her body.

Fuyōna was impressed, knowing that, that was not something many children of the Kaguya clan could learn to do so early on, resulting in them being locked away from the others until they could control their power, just like Kimimaro had been.

Fuyōna picked her up and gave her a small squeeze before kissing her neck, getting a loud giggle from her, quickly letting her sit on his arm as he looked at both of his wives.

Suiren smiled and walked over to them, taking Asami in her arms and kissing her head.

"Oh my child, what are you like." She said smiling at her.

"I'm sorry mummy," Asami said, hugging Suiren.

Shōto had also come in and was standing by Mei's leg, holding onto it as he watched the whole thing.

"It's alright Shōto, you don't need to worry about your sister," Mei said as she stroked his hair, putting him at ease.

"Alright, kids, it's time for bed!" Suiren said, looking at the time and seeing it had gotten late.

"Aww, I want to stay up and play more with daddy!" Shōto said, hiding behind Mei's leg.

Fuyōna smiled, kneeling down and looking at his son.

"How about, I put you to bed and tuck you in?" He asked, getting an exciting look from him.

"Really!" He asked.

"Me too daddy!" Asami said, reaching her hands out toward her father.

"Alright, let's get you both up to bed!" Fuyōna said, taking both of his children in his arms and carrying them up the stairs and he said good night to Mei and Suiren.

Fuyōna proceeded to carry both children into their room, having a shared room with two beds in it, one for each of them. Fuyōna placed them into their beds and tucked them in, placing the covers over them, and giving each of them a kiss on their foreheads.

"Alright you two, sleep tight." He said as he reached for the light switch.

"Daddy, tell us a story!" Asami said, not wanting to go to sleep yet.

"Yeah, story time!" Shōto said, copying his sister.

Fuyōna frowned as he shut the door, knowing he didn't have a choice in the matter.

"Alright little ones, you win." He said, sitting on the end of Asami's bed.

"What story would you like?" He asked, smiling as he watched them sit up, trying to think of a good option.

"Tell us about some bad guys you defeated daddy!" Little Shōto shouted, sitting up from his bed excited.

"No! Tell us about when you were little daddy!" Asami said, giving other options.

Fuyōna sat on the edge of Asami's bed smiling at both of them, trying to think of a good story he could tell them. Of course, none of them were good from when he was young in this world. His life had been filled with training, missions, murder and hardship in this life.

"Alright, I have a little story I think you might like." He said, causing them to sit up in excitement.

"But you have to promise you will go to bed once I am finished." He said, making sure they knew the terms of his storytelling agreement.

"We promise!" Both of them said, quickly lying back down and pulling the covers up to their chins.

"Ok... It all started when I was young. I lived in a place far away from here, in somewhat of a different world." Fuyōna said, getting their attention.

"I was a young man who had moved to a new city."

"What's a city?" Asami asked, interrupting him.

"A city is like a really big village," Fuyōna said with a smile.

"So... Here I was in this big city all alone, with nothing but the clothes on my back and my motorbike." He then said, continuing his story.

"What's a motorbike?" Shōto asked this time, causing Fuyōna to chuckle slightly.

Fuyōna smiled again, knowing that these things didn't exist yet in this world.

"A motorbike is like a bike, with two wheels that can go super super fast!" Fuyōna said, getting a wooo from both of them.

"Anyway, I had no money and no job, which means I couldn't afford any food."

"No way!"

"What did you do daddy!" Asami and Shōto both asked.

"Well, what I did was go and find the biggest and worst place in the city, knowing that there was bound to be an underground fighting area, where I could earn some money."

Shōto looked at his father with excitement.

"Did you beat people up for money!" He asked.

"Not exactly," Fuyōna said, giving him a small smile.

"While I was there watching some of the fights, I met a young princess, who was very very strong," Fuyōna said, getting a large smile from Asami.

"Did you love her daddy?" Asami asked.

"What about mummies?" She then asked, shooting question after question at him.

"Well, Asami. This was a long time ago before I met mummy." He said, putting her at ease.

"So what happened next, daddy?" Shōto asked, wanting to know more.

"Well, it turns out that the princess was in fact not a princess at all. She was an evil witch, who tried to trick daddy and steal all of his money with her friends.

"Oh no!" Shōto said.

"I knew it!" Asami said at the same time.

"What did you do daddy?" Shōto then asked, looking at his father with wide eyes.

Fuyōna smiled as he raised his hand, using his ice style to create little figures made of ice that started to dance and fight in the air, getting both of them to watch in amazement as they told the story.

"I beat them all up, fighting like my life depended on it, showing them that I was no pushover! defeating the bad guys and the evil witch at the same time!" Fuyōna said as he jumped to his feet putting a show on for them with the ice figures.

"Yay!!!" Both children shouted, watching as the ice figures slowly melted and disappeared.

"And what happened then, daddy?" Asami asked, wanting to know more.

"Well, Asami, after that daddy decided it was time to come home... But that is a story for another day." He said, remembering that he had been killed a few years later, ending up in this world.

"Aww, no fair!" They both said, not wanting the story to end.

"Alright kids, that's the end of story time, remember you both promised to go to sleep after." He said, reminding them.

"Ok..." They both said reluctantly as they laid back down, pulling the covers up to their chins again.

"Alright, I love you both," Fuyōna said, giving each of his children a kiss on the forehead before he said his final goodnight and shut the door, leaving them to go to sleep.

With that he made his way downstairs, seeing that both Mei and Suiren were relaxing and chatting in the kitchen.

"Hey, did they go down alright?" Suiren asked, seeing that he had returned.

"Yeah, once I told them an old story." He said with a grin on his face.

"Oh really, what was it about?" Mei asked, also interested.

Fuyōna sat down at the table and placed his hands behind his head as he leaned back.

"It was a story from a long long time ago." He said causing both of them to raise an eyebrow.

"About when I defeated an evil witch and her lackeys." He said with a cheeky wink, causing them to laugh, realizing he was only joking before they changed the subject.

Fuyōna also smiled, knowing that was best. After all, he had never explained to either of them in full detail about him coming from another world, or what his life had been like. He had guessed that it would only sound crazy and that it was never something he really needed to talk about.

"Anyway, who's hungry!"

Meanwhile in the hidden Stone.

"Lord tsuchikage, we have reports coming in that the hidden Leaf have blocked off the border to the hidden Grass also attempting to cut off our supply wagons." One of the advisers said as Ōnoki sat and listened to the reports.

"Yes, we already knew they would try that again... How is our guard at kannabi bridge? I don't want a repeat of last time!" He said, remembering how the Leaf had destroyed the bridge, helping bring the war to an end.

"As ordered we have tripled the guard, keeping up the defences of the bridge so our supply wagons can keep coming through." One of them said, getting a nod from Ōnoki.

"Good, and what of the Sand, have we had a response yet?" He then asked, looking around the room.

"No... With the capture of the Kazekage, the Sand have taken a step back, for the time being, refusing to answer our summons or make contact with us at all."

"Cowards!" Ōnoki suddenly shouted, getting angry.

"They started this war, and now they don't even have the guts to finish it!" He shouted, slamming his hand onto the table.

"The Hokage has called for a meeting once again sir, requesting a meeting for peace." Another adviser said, showing him the scroll that was signed by the Hokage himself.

Ōnoki looked at it, knowing that the Hokage wanted peace between them at all cost, knowing that he was not prepared to lose more troops to war, like last time.

"And what of the Raikage?" Ōnoki then asked, ignoring the scroll from the Hokage.

"The Raikage has rejected our proposal to join the war against the Leaf and Mist, for now, saying he doesn't see the need to feel threatened by their alliance.

Ōnoki remained quiet for the moment before he spoke again, having an idea come to mind.

"In that case, let us give him a reason to join us..." He said with a wicked smirk.

Everyone looked at Ōnoki with interest, not sure if he was really proposing what they thought he was. Still, no one dared say anything until he was done speaking and waited for him to finish.

"I want an Anbu squad assembled at once to my office. If it's a reason the Raikage wants, then a reason he will have. The Leaf and the Mist with not be allowed to form their alliance without facing the wrath of the other great nations!" Ōnoki shouted.
