The sky is getting dark but a small hint of orange is seen amongst the mountains from that can be seen from afar. The roads are a lot calmer than the busy traffic in the main city, where at this hour employees and students are on their way home. Dimitri drove his car calmer than he did going to the museum. The silence filled the air as Thea's eyes wandered out in the window. Not one of them spoke a word after what happened in the museum. He glanced at her as he remembered the thing that he had seen in the window in the same mansion that Theo turn into a museum that they just visited. Dimitri suddenly stopped the car and looked at her, but Thea doesn't seem to notice, her eyes still wonders in the dark and silent they are in.
Dimitri's thoughts is even messier than he expected it after showing her the portrait. He vividly remembers how Thea stared at the portrait, he wasn't sure what he saw in her, was she mesmerized, did she feel familiar like he hoped for her to feel? But Dimitri was terrified but at the same time, eager to know what is coming on seeing the portrait and her in front of each other. He glanced at her and saw her arms starting to turn purple from all that tight grip he did to her.
*Why did I do that? I never once hurt a woman before.*
He kept staring at her thin and slender arms there he realized how petite Thea is, how her hands are so small compared to his, and how thin she is. There, his eyes laid on her face, where their eyes.
"We should get going." He cleared his throat and started the engine. "And we should stop at a pharmacy."
He added as he glanced at her, but she was still the same. Absent mindedly staring in window that it is starting to bother him. It bothers Dimitri on the thoughts she is having right now, was she bothered too seeing the portrait?
"Im good, drop me off at a bus stop." His heart raced when he heard her talk. On the back of his mind, he was thankful hearing her talk after almost an hour of not spouting anything. She is always silent and very timid in his eyes but her silence now bothered him.
"Okay." he whispered.
The drive from the museum back to the main city should only be three hours but to Dimitri it feels longer, as well as waiting to see a bus stop on the side of the road so she could get off. As soon they took a turn in a small pharmacy, he stopped, spotting a bus stop near it.
But before he could turn the engine off to buy something in the pharmacy for her bruise, he saw her quickly grab her bag and got off the car without saying a word. He went out following her with his gaze as she walked towards the bus stop, where a shed stood with it.
He stared at her back as she walks away from him, somehow waiting for her to look back and walk back to his car. Dimitri knows, that it is dangerous for a woman, at this hour to be alone in a place she didn't know where. He hesitated. *Should I just ask her to come back?*
He closed the door and walked to where she was headed, but seeing her image walk away from being determined to get to the bus stop stopped him. He turn back forget his plan on getting something for her bruise from the pharmacy and walked back to his car and drove away. But his eyes didnt leave her image on the rear view mirror of his car.
*She decided not to ride with me, I should let that go.* He stepped on the gas as his car speeds up. His eyes on the road, but his thoughts are on her imagining her sitting alone on that bus stop, but his mind drifted off back at the museum with her. He remembered Theo, on how mesmerized he is to see Thea with the portrait, he's used to seeing him admiring things but not to this point as he saw him at the museum. In the back of his mind Dimitri remembered something, something that Theo whispered while staring at Thea.
Immediately, he stopped his car and called Theo. "What was that, that you said when we were there?" Dimitri never wasted a second to ask as soon as Theo picked up the call.
"Wh-What? Which one?" Theo shouted back at Dimitri's sudden call.
"I don't know I dont remember it! It was something that you said!__"
"What? About Amanda Montecarlos?"
Dimitri fell silent as he heard Theo on the phone.
"Tri? Are you still there?.....Ugh! What ever! You're being weird lately." Theo said in his frustrated tone and ended the call.
*Amanda Montecarlos....Amanda Montecarlos........... Amanda Montecarlos*
"Where did I heard that name? It's so familiar." he whispered as he went on to his phone as search the name on the internet, but no significant information that he saw sufficed his curiosity.
"Shit." he whispered and proceed to call someone.
"Sir_"
"Brandon, I want you search everything about Amanda Montecarlos."
"Sir? For the case?____"
"I didn't hire you to ask me questions. Now go!" Dimitri answered erratically on the phone which left Brandon, his hired private investigator to stop on his words.
"Of course sir___"
"A-and__" He hesitated.
"Sir?"
"Search everything about... Amithea Gonzales." Dimitri said and dropped the call. He stared at himself in his side mirror, with his chest falling up and down and nothing but defeaning silence all around him.
"What is happening to me." He whispered to himself and turned his car back.
