A Mystery Of The Gunman

Sarah squinted towards the computer screen, highlighting the important parts. Her glasses rested on the crown of her head, papers spread across her desk, 3 empty coffee paper cups fallen on the side but she couldn't care less.

It was supposed to be a day off for her, that Alex granted her to spend with her brother but she didn't want that. She busied herself with work that wasn't even assigned to her, to keep herself distracted. To stop herself from overthinking and lose her mind.

She jumped slightly as a sudden tap on the door made her lose focus. "come in" she swiveled in her chair, stretching. A head popped in her room "are you busy?"

"if you are here to talk about my brother than you can return Ellen" she turned back towards the screen scanning each line.

"well that's not it" he took a seat on the couch behind her. She didn't even turn to look. "its about the.... phone that you gave me few months earlier'' he continued nonetheless.
