Kj Apa // Kiss

*KJ's POV*

Today was the day that we started shooting for season 3 of Riverdale and there was a new cast member on set, (Y/N).

She was cast to play my love interest this season and my heart fluttered when I first met her. She was so kind and caring.

She was a beautiful girl, and I couldn't keep my eyes off of her. Her hair was impeccably soft to the touch and her eyes gleamed with every word that she spoke. She took incredible pride in everything she did and was very serious in her lines.

We had begun shooting episode 3 and there was a particular scene where Archie and (Y/N)'s character had to kiss at the school dance. Over the course of the past month and all out romantic scenes, she began to grow on my heart a little bit and I didn't want to let her go to someone else. I knew I had to do something to talk to her, but I became so nervous around her, I could barely speak. This was of course an inconvenience to me as I couldn't tell her exactly how I felt in person.

As I paced my trailer I grew more and more nervous. It was less than 2 hours until I had to be on set for the kissing scene with (Y/N) and my palms began to feel sweaty. I knew Archie could do it, but I wasn't too sure if KJ could.

"KJ? You in there?" (Y/N)'s voice rang out from outside my door. I wiped my hands on my jeans and walked over to the door, taking a deep breath before opening the door. There she was stood on the top step in a plum dress with her hair all curled. She looked gorgeous as usual, and I couldn't help but smile.

"Hi." She spoke, smiling.

"Hi."

"Can I uh, come in?" She motioned to my trailer and I muttered something to myself and stepped back so that she could come in. She stepped through the door and sat herself down on the couch and I took the spot beside her.

"So you excited to shoot today?" I asked her, unsure what to say.

"Yeah! Are you?" She asked energetically. God she made me so happy.

"Yeah yeah, its gonna be great."

Things got a little awkward between us which was clearly noticeable. She then excused herself back to her trailer and told me she'd see me in a couple hours. As soon as she stepped out of the door my heart sank, I was scared this would make the kissing scene even harder.

Later on that afternoon we were on set, I in my tux and (Y/N) in a beautiful green dress. She was so stunning I could barely keep my eyes off of her, good thing she was my love interest.

We began shooting and everything was going so well until my line before the kiss, I kept messing up and I could tell everyone was getting frustrated, including myself.

"KJ, is everything okay?" She asked me away from everyone else.

"No, not really..." I dragged off.

"Why not? What's wrong?"

"I uh, I really like you and you'd think that would make this easier but it's not, it's making it so much harder."

"KJ, you don't have to be nervous."

"Why?"

It wasn't 2 seconds later before she placed her soft pink lips on mine, a smile forming on her face. I couldn't believe myself. I pulled back smiling and with a relief, she was smiling too.

"Everything's going to be okay."

"Okay."

"Now let's go film this kiss, and enjoy it this time."
