The island

Jean's mouth opened and closed a few times, then went red in the face. At the same time, she kept looking at the chamber with a very complicated look.

"There is nothing we can do at the moment, her mind is still holding on and the chamber will work on her body. If we can revive her we can ask her questions." I want to keep Jean's mind away from digging too deeply, it seems obvious Hope came from the future we just have no idea why.

This place is starting to get crowded, it feels a bit like my life has been on fast-forward for the last week.

"Let's go, there is nothing more we can do here."

Jeans nods and moves closer to me with a slightly demure look.

I place my arm around her waist and start to run, entering the Speed Force moments later. Based on the maps Lilly supplied I had to the island, as I am running I can feel Jean lightly tap my chest.

I look at her curiously and she points over my shoulder, I glance back and see Eve flying easily behind me, show-off.

"That's Eve, she is the Speed Force that I use to run and that we are currently running in."

Eve waves happily at Jean and Jean waves back and mouths a greeting.

"We here," I raise my voice, "See you on the way back Eve!" with that I drop out of the Speed Force and find myself running on a beach.

I bring us to a stop and allow Jean to walk, it is not I realize something is very different with me.

I still feel like I have Hope's powers! I can sense the mutants on the island, I can feel their powers and I know I can fix those who have incomplete mutations, I can still grant any powers I have ever encountered to others. My powers seem to be much more powerful, I know (both Joel and Hope have always innately understood their and other's power) that I will no longer lose the powers I copy when I move away, but they will slowly fade with time. (The longer the power stays in his range the longer he keeps it).

Jean looks at me curiously as I slow down my pace, I smile at her, " It seems Hope has given me a gift, it looks like our powers are very comparable."

Jean grins, "Well that makes sense since she seems to be your daughter."

"You daughter too." I grin and reply.

Jean blushes slightly and nods and she admits, "Yes, maybe my daughter as well. That is something I never thought about, actually having a child of my own."

As we are talking 3 figures move towards us from the tree line, the one in the front is easily identified, Erik Magnus Lehnsherr also known to the world as Magneto, and the well-built man behind him I can only assume is Ariki as he is wearing braids and seems to have control over them. That makes the woman Selene Gallio, who seems uninterested in us, yet I can feel her telepathic tendrils reaching us.

Jean glances at Selene who suddenly staggers back for a moment, then glares at Jean, who smiles back innocently.

Erik sighs and lightly shakes his head, "I am sorry Jean, I told her to stop testing people. I am really glad to see you and ... "

Jean giggles and walks forward, giving Erik a gentle hug, "I'm so happy to see you," glancing back at Joel she says," he would not tell me who we were going to see, creep. Oh, this is Joel Cochin, he has been very kind to me and helped me solve a few problems with my powers."

Erik grins slightly," Jean, you think everyone is kind. What does Charles think of your changes, I am surprised you here alone."

Jean's smile eases slightly, "I left the school a few days ago, I was made aware of some things. I think that is part of the reason Joel brought me here." Jean glances back at Joel as she talks.

Joel smiles and nods, then steps forward with his hand outstretched. "Hi, please to meet you. And while I did want Jean to have some time to talk to you, I also have some things we need to talk about."

"I just want to live in peace now, to make a place where mutants can live without persecution."

"Erik, how about you speak with Jean first, then just listen to what I have to say."

Erik nods and we walk towards the inner part of the island, as we do Erik and Jean seem to be having a polite conversation while the other two seem to be watching me closely.

As expected of Erik, this land is full of various metals, he also seems to have a very powerful nature-type mutant ... no way. I stop walking and focus on the land beneath me.

The others stop and look at me with some confusion, I can feel it, I can feel every creature, every plant, everything on this island, and it goes on for a lot greater than the visible island, this is not Genosha, this is Okkara. This is the Eden of mutants.

(Info on Okkara, feel free to skip it if you know - slightly changed)

Okkara is a sentient island in the South Pacific, in most verses, it was cut in two. (not this one)

It has a healing effect on mutants as it has a massive amount of mutant energy.

Okkara possesses an instinct-based hivemind composed of the lifeforms that formed it. It can create moving, semi-humanoids and animal forms of various sizes out of its component earth. Its largest humanoid form possessed superhuman strength (lifting approximately 100 tons). before its split, it created vast amounts of mutant energy allowing it to become semi-sentient (After the split it feeds on mutant energy, and drains that energy quickly, often rendering mutants powerless) and though it often traps beings using tentacle-like vegetation growth, it can feed off energy as long as the being remains on the island. Okkara can block the powers of telepaths trying to communicate with those on the island and it can survive unaided in space. There is also a great amount of magic around Okkara.

Once connected to the hive-mind it can be instructed to create various mutated plants and animals that can be used in medicine and as defensive units. It is also possible to create rebirth pods but this only works on mutants or those connected to the hive mind.

I raise my hand and a tree starts to grow, it looks a little strange and already has some pods hanging from it.

I grin as I look at Erik, "You have no clue about the land you have been living on, do you?"

Erik looks at me blankly, then shakes his head, at this point I notice the others are shaking their heads as well. I am so glad I own this land now.

"Let's head in first, it seems we have a lot more to speak about after you have a chat with Jean."

As we walk to the simple building ahead various plants seem to be reaching out to me, birds circle close, and I start worrying about them shitting on me, even some smaller animals pop up and watch me pass.

Eril Jean and I are left alone to enter his home, I stay below as they move upstairs to talk. This has nothing to do with me as I keep exploring my link to this land. This place is amazing you could even think of it as one of the first mutants.

In this world, it seems this was where the Celestial performed their experiments on humans, creating mutants.

After a while Jean and Erik come down, Jean seems to thinking something over so I say nothing to her.

Erik sits down and looks at me, I sigh and pull papers out of my pocket, unfold them, and start placing them before him.

The ones I place first are about Emma and Azazel, his eyes widen but says nothing.

"They are also doing some cloning work, mostly on Wolverine," Erik nods as he hears this, it does not seem to bother him much, "Also another clone, they call her Sophia, they got her sample from a mutant they dug up in Poland, a small girl, she had the power to talk to animals.

Erik's eyes have gone red, his hands are clenched and all the metal below the island is causing it to shake.
