Raven's changes

Eric nods to Raven, in his mind he sees no reason why Joel would lie or harm Raven as this is a demonstration for his sake.

(I like her blue form, but she has always wanted to look 'normal' in the comics and movies, so to stay true to the character I did it as below.)

Raven looks at Joel and nods slowly, "Will I look normal after this?"

I sigh, "You look great now, but if you asking if you will look like us, then yes, you should do."

Jean smiles slightly at my comment.

I offer Raven my hand and she lays hers on mine, I then use my new ability to promote her and remove any instability in her power. A bright yet soft light surrounds both Raven and myself, I hear a moaning noise come from her and swallow. Thankfully it only lasts a few seconds.

As the light dims Raven is looking at her hand, she is a normal blonde self and looks like a normal human, although I am not sure if she will hear me as she seems wrapped up in her change, I explain her changes to her.

You should be able to choose how to enhance your physical body now, like granting yourself night vision, wings on your back, talons on your fingers, sharp-fanged teeth, and natural body armor you can even go so far as to compress your body into a nearly two-dimensional state and glide on air currents or allow yourself to be blown away from an explosion without being harmed.

You can adapt your body depending on your situation at the time. Things like camouflaging your body to match your surroundings to make you almost totally invisible, shifting your organs anywhere within your body, and mimicking the textures of glass or metals. You could even conceal items in shapeshifted pouches inside your body now.

You will find that you have become stronger, faster, more agile, and have enhanced durability, reflexes, and senses. as well as repair wounds, regrow limbs, and regenerate yourself from minor to near-death injuries in a short time, much faster than an ordinary human. You will also be able to retain a mimicked form even when drugged or knocked unconscious now. You will also quickly develop resistance and immunity to toxins and diseases.

You also now have a natural defense against telepathic intrusion and you should have an enhanced memory.

(Doctor Nemesis stated that she is capable of rewriting the genomic instructions in every single cellular nucleus of her body and is, therefore, a gene-shaper, not a shape-shifter.)

As I talk I see Raven's finger grow at least 30 cm, then return to normal, she looks up at me, her eyes are red from tearing up, "Thank you." she walks over to Eric and smiles warmly as she gives him a gentle hug.

Eric, who seems lost listening to all the changes speaks up, "Is this normal, such vast improvements?"

"It all depends on the mutant's potential, even now Raven has a long way she can still go, but she needs to adjust to the changes before I can help her again."

"If I am right, eventually, Raven should be able to copy mutant's powers when she takes their shape, as long as her body can handle it." 

"I suppose what helps a lot is that I can remove any instability in the mutant and their mentality would normally stabilize in many cases."

Eric nods and I can see his mind working, there are so many mutants with unstable aspects, such as physical deformities, or uncontrollable powers.

I smirk and head deeper into the building to find a place to rest, with the changes I have undergone many things have changed. Even though that little pervert has a powerful ability I do not need it now.

I am also concerned about someone following Hope to our time, she knew me at the very least, so it seems she has come from the future of this world.

If I recall correctly Hope uses a device she got from Cable to allow her to move through time and apart from her outfit I saw nothing else when she came here, so it's possible someone sent her here.

I sigh as many things run through my mind, mostly I am debating on what to do about the lab. With the powers I have picked up here destroying the place seems easy.

As I run things through my mind my brain suddenly wakes up. I can use all these individual powers at peak capacity yet I also have the ability of power synchronicity, making powers work together at their peak efficiency to produce new and more powerful results.

I grin as to make it even better, "Eric, can you bring me any mutants you have here who have instabilities related to their mutations?" 

Eric nods and sends out a message to those who are willing to come to the medical room.

If I can upgrade all the mutants here who have "inefficient" powers, I will gain more from them. Once I have copied all their powers I will have a much better idea of what I should do.

Within an hour I have worked on 34 mutants, during this time Jean has been 'chatting' with me mentally.

I suspected as much, but Eric told her her father is alive, he also told her about her mother and her father's recount of the accident Jean caused that led to her mother's death.

'Honestly Jean, I can only give you my own opinion, and I have never been in that situation. If it happened to me, I would keep my daughter close, or at the very least let her go with Xavier but stay in contact with her. All of this is only my view, and I might not even act this way if it happened in reality.'

Jean nods at my mental message and sighs while she clasps her hands together. 'I am so angry with him but I don't know if I have the right to be, if he is right I killed my mom. He should be angry with me, right?'

'As his daughter, I think you also have the right to expect him to care for you as a father should, are you considering confronting him?'

'No, well not yet. Maybe in the future, I think I need to try to understand what I am feeling first.'

I nod at Jean and then focus my attention on Eric as Jean seems more relaxed now that she had a chance to talk a bit.

(I will be making a lot of this up going forward as the mutants I want in the story no longer show up after the revised timeline. They were seen in 1973 or 1983, then nothing:x)

Eric, do you know where Kitty Pryde, Marie D'Ancanto, Robert Louis Drake, Jubilation Lee, and Mortimer Toynbee might be?

Eric looks confused and looks at Raven who speaks up, "He means Shadow Cat, Rouge, Iceboy, Jubilee, and that last one, I know him, I broke him out of a military camp where it looked like they were gathering mutants. Not sure what he did after that, I should be able to find him though."

Eric nods as he understands now and shows no signs of embarrassment that he never knew their real name.

"If you could, he is someone we going to need, he has the same ability with engineering as, " I glance at Eric and decide to use the mutant name, "Beast."

I grin, "If you like Eric, you can share my ability to correct mutations with Charles."

(Please keep this power in mind Lights' Influence and Bonding it means anyone he uses his power on will be influenced by him from then on, not mind control, but influenced. Although Hope has proved when she was VERY angry he could use it to take over control of others, I would only let the mc use that on people he sees as enemies.)
