Odin has my permission to retrieve his wayward son, so after a lecture from his sister that involved getting hit a lot, Thor and the others left, with his hammer.
I could tell Hela was more at ease, she had seen for herself that her family needed her, and she had done the right thing.
Looking at all the other areas where gods lived she recalled her chat with Widow, how Paragon had helped them all. To date, he had asked for nothing beyond their duty even though some would have no hesitation if he asked for more.
Hela shook her head and chuckled lightly, she never believed she would ever be saved, or ever need saving.
Meanwhile, in my lab, I had failed a few times already, super speed was useless in this situation, while I could put things together super fast, their chemical reactions still took just as long, frustrating.
Urgh, stepping away decides to focus on some of the knowledge Eve has gained for us.
Oh wow, just about everything is useful, this is amazing, there are wells at its base. These are things I did not know, is it because these things were never discovered in this timeline that I never knew?
(This origin is totally my own since someone brought up Heven and I do like it, I wanted to use it, but it did not fit well with its normal history, so I changed it."
Wait, what, 10 realms? This is wrong, there are only 9, where did the 10th come from and why does no one know about it?
Using my connection to the tree I found the branch that led to Heven, but it was invisible, no, more than that. I could only see it because I knew it was there. What the heck is going on?
I follow the branch and see the connection to a totally sealed dimension, it seems someone shut the door from the inside. Hm, weirdly the power used to seal it seems to be wasting away, and much weaker power is being used to reinforce it.
I divert Eve to focus on knowledge about Heven, this is curious.
With Eve focused I suddenly learnt the history as to why it was sealed. Heven had found a way to power itself using the Mother of Thunder, the God Tempest. An elder god in the shape of a cosmic thunderstorm, according to the memory of the tree, the God Tempest, or the Mother of Thunder, had existed since the dawn of time and grew gradually in size with each eon that passed. The worst of its wrath was reserved for those who truly deserved it, which made people believe it had a mind of its own.
At one point it came across Asgard, Odin faced it once the storm grew tired and weak, Odin struck it with a nugget of Uru which had been gifted to him by the Dwarves of Nidavellir. Through means of dark and primal magic, the storm became entrapped inside the Uru.
Odin subsequently took the piece of Uru back to the Dwarves so they could forge it into a weapon through which Odin could wield the storm's power. After seventeen weeks of forging, during which the Dwarves had to use the power of a star to reshape the metal, the piece of Uru was transformed into a hammer, which Odin dubbed Mjolnir. (Fandom)
This removed the power source that powered many life-giving machines on Heven. Heven's God, suddenly vanished, leaving his angels to die.
The Queen of Angels blamed Odin for their god deserting them, not realizing they had been mentally manipulated to see this minor entity as their god. These were the Cheyarafim, and this might explain why they disappeared from history.
The Queen of Angels planned a very practice revenge, they would kidnap some of Odin's children and use them to power Heven.
The longer their god was away, the more they regained their original minds, but it was too late as his orders were still in effect, to save Heven, they needed to do this to survive.
Through deceit they managed to kidnap four children within a very short time, they knew if they delayed to get more Odin would realize and investigate. Vilar - God of Strength, Tyr - God of War, Hermod - God of Speed, Balder - God of Light, and the newborn Aldrif
were placed into chambers to fuel the city, and then the Angels closed Heven off, not realizing their previous god was a coward, and wove a spell of forgetfulness for when the shields closed, anyone within Heven, and Heven was forgotten.
Joel was stunned, this was something he never known, and was sure none of the Asgardians did.
To open Heven he would need to rip open a secured dimension, something he had no experience in. He really wanted the Angels for himself, and Heven.
Laying his hand on the shield Joel tried his best to see inside, nothing more, just see the Asgardians.
After some time Joel was able to see chambers, they contained the Asgardians, they seemed older, but still living, Aldrif was a young woman now, Joel noticed that the one who attended her chamber was much more attentive than other attendants, she would caress the chamber, wait, did Aldrif's eyes just move, they were awake.
Joel watched the attendant, named Sera apparently take gentle care of Aldrif's chamber, then went home, it was barren, except for some horn on the wall it looked like she had nothing.
I have seen enough, the children are alive.
Bringing myself back home, "Alpha, please convey a message to Heimdall for Odin. I wish a meeting with all his family as soon as convenient. This is of great importance so he is to please restrain his son."
"Yes M'Lord." is Alpha's reply as she vanishes from the room.
Moments later she reappears, "Lord Odin has said you are always welcome."
I nod, "Hela, we are going to visit Asgard, please ready yourself."
Within a moment Hela appeared at my side, wearing a shape-hugging emerald dress, very nice.
I nod, I can see the hint of confusion within her eyes.
I open a portal and we step through into the Bifrost rely.
Heimdall sees up steps out and salutes, his eyes lingering on Hela for a moment.
I nod we fly along the bridge to the large golden temple, very hard to miss really.
It seems the guards are expecting me as they part to allow us in.
Inside I see a dinner table, and everyone around it is standing, at one head is Odin, to his left are Thor and Loki, to his right is Frigga and one free chair, and the other is at the other end of the table.
I smile and nudge Hela to join her mother while I stand at the other head.
"Greetings all, sorry to disturb but I think you will be very interested in what I have to say."
Odin smiles and greets me, as do the others before we all sit.
For a few moments, we are all social.
I then sigh, "What I have to say is going to shock you. Let me be clear, none of us can do anything alone, regardless of how angry we get."
Odin and Frigga nod, taking each other's hands under the table, from what they know about Paragon, this information will anger them if he mentioned it, so it can only be news about the family.
