Before me, sat at U shaped table are the Justice League, at the moment none are aware of me, I assume Order, better known as Dr Fate would normally, but my Alpha dimension gained so much once I arrived I guess in that regard I am equal to him now, but based on what I know in other regards I am superior.
At the moment they are discussing possible new members, as they discuss Aqualad and Kid Flash Dr Fate speaks up, and Shazam speaks up, questioning Dr Fate about using blackmail to get a host.
This is my time.
I appear before them all, although I leave them the ability to move, they remain seated without abilities.
"Hello all, sorry for the interruption, but someone needs to be judged." As I speak I start to move around the table slowly.
At this time Shazam can feel his godly powers warning him about me, the wisdom of Solomon is not just for show, "Guys, don't do anything, this guy is a God, I mean a proper one, not like my partial powers." he warns
Wonder Woman stands up looking confused, "Then why am I able to move?"
As I near Dr. Fate I explain, "Because there is no reason to make you sit, you are the only one here who respects the way of the gods, and honestly, I will not insult a future goddess," I smile at her as I reach Dr. Fate who has been attempting spells this entire time, luckily I am sucking his Order energy into my dimension since he chose to be a hero, he falls under my authority, regardless.
I can see Batman taking all this in as I lift the helmet off the poor mage, he collapses for a moment then slowly rises.
Superman, who has been trying to stand this whole time speaks up, "Is that why you here, for the Helm?"
"No, he is not, he is more powerful than the Helm," Zatara speaks up then looks at me with appreciation.
Wonder Woman standing behind me listens carefully, "Now, my child, know your daughter cannot be harmed by this thing," I turn and grab the helm, leaving finger marks where I did, "The moment even the slightest spell is attempted I will not only destroy it's vessel, I will decimate it within the universe." I do not know when, but I think my divinity has made me feel very protective of the Awakened, to be expected I suppose.
Shazam mutters, "Oh wow, the helm is actually scared, I think this guy can do it." A few of the older members stopped struggling, not out of fear, but realizing that I might not be there to harm them.
Zatara breathes a sigh of relief, then looks up at me. "Are you a God of Protection for Mages?"
I grin and shake my head, "No, I am the God of all Awakened. When it forced you to become his vessel, it crossed a line. At the time I was in another Universe so it took me time to arrive. I am sorry."
Zatara smiled and shook his head, "No, I never thought anyone would come, it is good to see Gods who care for their people. May I know your name, Lord?"
I smile, "Lord Paragon, now you have time. You can choose to never don this helm. Or you can choose to barter with it, but nothing will be forced," I turn to the helm, "Understood?"
An ethereal voice fills the room, "Agreed."
"Great," I let everyone move again, then look to Superman, "Oh, yeah, I made Superboy fully Kryptonian, you need to give him more time."
I turn to look at Wonder Woman before Superman can react, "I just came from a Universe where I took your mom and the Amazons to their own Island before the betrayal, then gave her the daughter she wanted without her having to lay with god or man, I am very excited to see how you turn out there."
Wonder Woman looks at me blankly, "Sorry Lord Paragon, that is so much more than my mind can handle right now. It sounds amazing but the idea is hard to grasp."
I grin and look about, then sigh as my eyes land on Batman, "I would offer you what I think you want most, but I know you will refuse," I sigh, "How about something more practical?"
I smile and I see him glare at me, "No strings, you have done so much, regardless if your method is right or wrong, you deserve a reward, and the most useful is full regeneration."
I shrug and vanish, I have an interest in one aspect of this universe, Project Cadmus, but before that, I am going to change something to see what it causes.
I appear in a low-end room, it is well kept as you can see from the woman before me who is polishing a tea table. She is a slender Vietnamese woman. She is a paraplegic and uses a wheelchair, she has black hair that runs down to the nape of her neck, dark eyes, and pronounced cheekbones and lips. Her hair is combed to either side behind her ears, though she has bangs. She wears an open, royal-blue, cardigan sweater with the sleeves rolled to her elbow and a white shirt beneath it. She wears dark green trousers and black sneakers.
It takes a moment for her to notice me, to her credit she says nothing as I watch her hand fall casually next to her leg.
"That won't help, and since I am not here to harm you, you really do not need to be concerned."
She looks me in the eyes, "Sneaking into someone else's home is not the best way to show good intentions."
I chuckle, "Hm, not really thought about it, I just go where I want to be. Anyways, I am here to help." I wave my hand and her slender figure fills out.
She looks down in shock, not only has she gained a very attractive figure back, but she can feel her legs. At first unsteadily, then with more confidence she stands and starts to walk around the room, then a slow cartwheel, a gentle flip, as her confidence grows she tests the body further.
After a few minutes, she looks at me, "I am much stronger than before, much stronger than a normal human." She is not asking, she knows her body.
I nod, "Your Ex-husband will use you to blackmail Artemis to help him. You paid for your crimes, and his, so now you can act as you like."
"What am I giving you in return?" she finally asks.
I shrug, "Donno, I did this to see what happens if you throw a wrench in the plan."
I can feel Artemis approaching the building so I smile and say, "Be a good mother, she can learn a lot from you." with that I make myself invisible and intangible.
As Artemis, a half-Caucasian and half-Vietnamese teenage girl of average height with olive-toned skin long thick blonde hair, and dark grey eyes, crawls through the window she is shocked to find someone helping her, even more shocked to see it is her mother.
"Mom? How are you standing? What happened to you?" she asks in disbelief and she notices her mother is nothing only standing but well proportioned.
Helping her daughter in the room she walked to the sofa and sat down with a smile on her lips, "Well, it's more like a fairy tale, to be honest. I was given a chance to be a good mother, is what he said."
"Who said? You look so good, you became so healthy in hours, what does it mean, to be a good mother?" Artemis is totally lost, with the events in her team, and now, she is lost.
"I have no idea who, he said he is giving me a strong body to help you so you would not be forced to obey your father," feeling a slight breeze Artemis notices her mother is now behind her, "He also improved me, a lot." Paula grins at her daughter.
I leave them be decide to rest in Justice Mountain.
