Skyler's Pov

"Ellena" her words rang in my head. That name. No.....no.....no....she can not be her,can it? She is way to nice to me to be her.

"I can explain." I shook my head and started walking back really fast and she tryed walking after me.

"Stay away from me." Sadness drew on her face. In a way it kinda hurt me to see her like that but I didnt care,I just wanted to get away from her as fast as possible and as far away as possible. Maybe it was just a coincidence that her name was Ellena but I wanst about to take that chance. She could be Ellena the queen of death. I ran down some random hallways trying to put as much distance between me and her as possible. My father told me storys about the vampire rulers.

"Daddy can you tell me a story." He chuckled slightly.

"Yes Skyler I can just dont tell your mom." He let out another chuckle.

"What would you like to here about?" I layed there in my purple unicorn bed thinking.

"I want to here about the vampires daddy." I said trying to stay awake.

"Ok little one, on the otherside of that land out there is the vampire world, and skyler there are rulers that rule different towns. There names were, Christoph the blue blooded vampire, you see christoph's blood had the ability to heal any human that drank it but it also had the ability to kill them as well. Then there was Taylor the gold,Taylor had the ability to turn things into gold. Then there is Sethlen the wraith,Sethlen was a half royal blood vampire that was also half raithen (a demonic lion). Then the worst of them of all Ellen the Devine, also known as Ellen the Queen of death. She was the daughter of king Agness the king of the vampries. Ellen is the half sister to seth. She is also half Ascended (and Ascended is a immortal human that has extraordinary abilitys.) Skyler listen to me very carefully you must avoid her at all costs." His words sounded sincere and scared.

"Daddy why do I half to stay away from her at all costs?" I questioned why he would only say that for her and not the others.

"Because Skyler,its because of an old story." His words were more calm now but they still had a little worry in the tone of them.

"Daddy could you tell me the story please." I begged even though i knew it was past my bed time.

"Skyler I don't think that it is such a good idea its a story for another time." I did my famous puppy dog eyes to try to convince him to tell me.

"Please daddy tell me I promise after this one I will go to bed." I begged. He sighed in his low tone and pulled the blanket up a little. Then climed into my bed with me and layed down and rested his head on his giant hand.

"Fine but then you better go to bed after this one." His voice was calm with a hint of annoyance and kindness.

"I will." I turned to look at him and waited for the story to begin.

"There is this old story told by the originals that came here. It goes, a girl from humans. And a vampire would get to gether and rule this world together,and bring it into peace or turn it into chaos. Both of them will have the Acended gene in them. The vampire will consume one human girl pet to set the Alliance into motion.

I kept running lost in my own thoughts. Then it hit me I was the human pet that was going to be consumed. I quickly ran into a random room and shut the door and locked it. Then i flicked on the light switch. And I screamed as I saw my worst nightmare come true. There my Dad was on a meat hook speared into his chest....dead. Then the door opens behind me.

"Curiously kills the kitten."
