The Quest

Arsh and Rena had reached the town called 'Monster town' which was famous for its guilds. This town had the most number of hunters in the whole kingdom.

"Not a bad place to stay," Arsh mentioned, looking around while sitting on the horse.

"Yes, its really a nice place to stay," Rena replied.

They could see the blooming conditions of the people of the town. The houses were well built, the markets were full of people and the people were all looking happy. It was well to do place at first glance.

"Where would we find guilds?" Arsh asked.

"Let's ask someone," Rena suggested before Arsh stopped a passer-by to ask about the guild.

"Umm… excuse me," Arsh said. A man turned after hearing his voice.

"Yes?"

"We are new in the town. We are searching for guilds. Can you tell us about some good guilds around?" He asked.

The man he stopped had a bulky body and his hair was tied back. He looked like a criminal who went to the gym too much.

The man first glared at Arsh, making him scared a bit. He then spoke.

"You will find many in the centre of the town."

Arsh and Rena smiled and thanked the man. The man nodded and walked away.

They both moved towards the centre of the town and spotted a guild. The building was looking pretty well built and was well-maintained too.

Its name was scribbled at the top which Arsh read as 'Dickhole guild'. He was reconsidering his decision to go inside this guild after reading the name.

When they entered, they could see many hunters sitting and having food. The counter had a beautiful girl who was gaining Arsh's attention continuously.

The job requests were stuck on the board near the counter.

Rena walked up to the counter and asked, "Can outsiders take up job requests?"

The girl nodded and replied, "Yes, they can, but they have to fill up a form first.'

Arsh was finding that girl really attractive. She had his favourite stuff in the world in the perfect shape. Also, the small Lily flower in her black hair was suiting her small fair face.

"What kind of form?" Rena asked.

The girl at the counter took out two pieces of paper, an ink bottle and two feathers. She handed it over to them.

"It basically is a contract which says that the guild won't be responsible if something happens to you. Your job money will be split half with the guild," She explained.

The conditions were understandable. They were in regular conditions. They took up the form and sat on a table in a corner.

The first few lines were asking about their personal information. Arsh read the clauses mentioned in the contract and was ready to sign it.

NAME: ARSH

AGE: 18

He wrote his age according to his current looks.

SEX: YES, PLEASE

HOMETOWN:?

He didn't have a hometown, and he only knew the name of one place since he arrived.

HOMETOWN: COCK TOWN

He then had to write his name in the bottom right corner of the contract, so he did it. They were now eligible to take job requests.

Arsh noticed that there wasn't a single female hunter in the guild. When they were filling up the form, some men were staring at them and were talking to each other.

"Hey, look. A girl wants to be a hunter," A man said to his fellow hunter at the corner.

"Heh, these girls don't understand that this job is only suited for men. Their main job is to stay at home and cook," The other man replied in a mocking tone.

Arsh and Rena could listen to everything but they were choosing to ignore it.

"Yes, brother. Or maybe they should work as the counter girl in the guilds, just like our dear Lily. So that we can eye on them," The first man said.

Arsh wanted to feel amused after listening to their discussions, but for some reason, it was pissing him off. He couldn't understand why he was feeling so angry at those men.

The place he had come from was not so different. He heard this kind of remarks regularly.

They decided to ignore their remarks and walked up to the counter.

They submitted the forms and tried to take a look at the quests and pick up a suitable one.

"Hmm…" Arsh was going through the quests. "Pull out the stuck dick in the ass for years," He muttered as he read a quest. "Prize is a hundred copper coins."

He let it pass as he was not there to pull out weird stuff for a hundred copper coins. He moved his eyes on the next quest.

"A rogue wolf killing the livestock. Get rid of the wolf. The prize is two silver coins."

It was worth it, but dealing with a wolf could be dangerous.

He was going through other quests and one of them caught his eye.

"Hm… Kill Demon Queen Elvira. The prize is…" His eyes got expanded as he found the prize money too much. "…one million gold coins, lifetime accommodation in the royal palace and the title of a hero."

He was considering if he should take this job or not. If the prize money is this high then the risk must be too high as well. To not forget that the quest had a seal that looked like some kind of official seal. He guessed from the prize that the seal must have belonged to the king.

He was not idiot or brave enough to take up this job, so he picked the wolf one. "How is this quest?" He asked Rena as he showed it to her.

"It will be good. The pay is good as well," She replied.

It was decided. They were going to deal with a wolf in a village on the outskirts. The villagers tried to bait it and trap it but it was in vain. The wolf somehow saved itself and continued killing the livestock.

They sat on the horse and went away to their destination. They didn't know what were they about to face there.
