Chapter 58

Ever since we took down the mini boss together, Gene and I always partied together and shared whatever game-related information we acquired. We re-did our character stats and skills to form an invincible team that could take down high difficulty bosses. Pretty soon, we became a bit well-known in the game's community.

After a while, I finally accepted Vladimir's invitation to join their guild. Soon, I was joining them for their weekly guild versus guild tournaments. Gene and I were promoted to guild officers.

Gene and I usually avoided talking about our real lives, but when we finally did, we found out that we actually went to the same school. We decided to meet up.

I waited by the large tree at the back of the school when class ended that day. There was a red-haired boy studying at the other side of the tree. I figured it was probably him.

"Gene?" I said.

"Beatrice?" he replied in a sleepy voice.

I smiled. "Nice to finally meet you in real life."
