The restaurant owner noticed me from afar and immediately approached me. "Is that you, Miss Butterfly? It's been so long that I almost didn't recognize you! Look how much you've grown!"
I smiled politely. "Yes. It has been a while."
After some small talk, he excused himself to continue serving his other customers. "Drop by here more often!" he said and left.
The restaurant owner wasn't someone I recognized either.
Ms. Cat probably noticed that I was down. She gave me a pat on the back. "Don't worry, Miss Butterfly. You'll remember."
Kiel also smiled for my sake. "Yeah. Don't give up."
I sensed a hint of sincerity.
Maybe it's ok to trust them.
"Thanks."
"We're going to the gardens next. We also spent a lot of time there," Kiel said. "Let's go to the next area."
We went back inside the car. This time, it took us to a fenced sanctuary that extended miles from where we stood. It was the biggest garden I had ever been to. The sight of it was breathtaking.
