My world has completely crashed down. Sitting in this waiting room, probably just begging God for another chance.


"Would you like to see him?" The doctor asks as I calm down and I shake my head no.


"I'm afraid I'll only break down again," I suggest laughing bitterly.


"We're about to cover him up, you don't wanna regret not seeing him." I sigh and get up, walking slowly to his room. Holding my breath as the doctor opens the door.


Mark was hunched over, probably asleep at his brother's bed and Ruby comforting him.


I sniff, trying to hold back the waterworks and Ruby turns towards me giving me a sad smile.


Sitting on the bed, I gently stroke his cheek. I find the beeping next to me quite annoy-


"Boo!" He yells and I scream, flying off the bed and onto the ground with a thud. My head hits the floor and I soon find myself blacking out.
