"Okay, so you open yours and I'll open mine" Rey said, fiddling with the large white envelope that had the name of the hospital at the bottom left and her name printed in bold letters on the front. Vladimir's envelope was similar, only that his name was printed on his folder.
"Why do I have to open mine first?" Vladimir pouted and pulled Rey into his arms, twirling her around and he watched her laugh so beautifully. He couldn't take his eyes off her.
She had ruined him for any other woman, he knew that much. He knew he wanted to spend his life with her but a wedding was out of the question now. What they needed was each other, at least for now.
"Because I already know that it's either a bullet or a piece of bone" she stood on her toes and pulled him by his neck, kissing his nose even if her heart was racing a million miles. Rey feared for him.
"Okay ma'am. I can see the eagerness in your eyes" he took the folder and was about to open it when he stopped.
