"Come back, Hana! I'm...I'm still here!"
"You can't go!"
"Hana, don't leave us!"
The dark haze in Hana's mind started to clear, her inky-dark eyes beginning to clear. Her usual blue was back and she blinked rapidly.
"..."
There was a moment of silence before she smiled.
A sad smile that was unlike her.
"I can't be anywhere near any of you anymore," Hana lowered her eyes, her voice quiet and vulnerable. "Since all I do is hurt those precious to me."
The colour of her eyes began to flicker between blue and dark.
"I am not good enough to stand by your side."
"That's not true!" Cecil retorted.
"Hana, I have long considered you as my family. It doesn't matter whether you are good enough or not." Xue said, clenching his jaw.
"You still haven't heard it!" K'xug raised his voice, the tent resounding with his voice.
Everyone focused on K'xug.
The panicked screams and shouting from outside were completely drowned out.
