I'll Just Sulk For a Bit

"You're confessing to me. I accept it. Therefore, I will give you the privilege of marrying me."

???

"The hell I will!" I rebuked in vehemence.

The audacity of this man?

Lukas furrowed his brows. "Why? Shouldn't you be happy? I'm saying yes without even letting you court me. You don't have to work hard because I'm giving you a shortcut."

Happy? Should I be happy? Because what? Because he's giving me a shortcut?

Is he serious?

I gritted my teeth, fighting the urge to come at him and bit his arm or something.

"You like me, right?"

The lopsided smile he's wearing did some wonders to his face, yet I can't even appreciate it right now.

My anger overshadows any sliver of admiration I have for him. Instead, that smile, I wanted to erase it, rub it off, and tear it away.

Heaving a deep breath, I looked him straight in the eyes.

"You know what?"

"What?"

"Fvck you."
