Seeing that he's gone, Nadia returned to Vivienne's side and checked. In her head, Vivienne looks so much worse than before.
"I don't know why my magic isn't working on you but I already told someone. They're going to come soon. I hope so…"
But no one did. She waited for minutes that seemed like hours but no one came. Even when she spent all her energy on calling for help, not one person seemed to hear her. At that point, Nadia was overthinking if Noah didn't tell someone like he said or if he did but they never want to bother. Her anger only grew as she became more desperate.
In her desperation, Nadia almost exhausted herself doing the most, pouring her mana on Vivienne and gaining no results from it.
Vivienne's breaths were almost nonexistent and her skin grew even colder, freaking Nadia out.
"Why? Why is it not working?!"
She could see it. Vivienne is dying. She's dying in front of her and Nadia can't do anything at all.
