Never Cease

"How did it go?"

"The plan went fine. The three got out of Althea's jail and proven themselves."

"That's good to hear."

The woman took off her white gloves then untied her hair as she went out of the room. The man behind her ran to walk beside her before giving a thin stack of paper to the woman.

"There were five deaths this past week." The man said as he wore a mask as they emerged in a room full of bodies laying on their respective beds with cloth wrapped around their body and tubes connected and attached to it. "This was the least death that we got."

"Don't let it get into you. Death can't always stay in that number."

"Of course. I'm just happy that we went good in this week."

"I'm repeating this. Don't let it get into you."

The man sighed. "Fine." He said, defeated as he can't even celebrate the good performance in that week. "By the way, where are we heading to?" He asked as they went inside a door leading them into a hallway that was unfamiliar to him.
