Cheers and joy echoed through the country the Grandbelle cherish as a new Queen and King was crowned in broad daylight. The sky was covered with raining colorful tiny pieces of papers, the streets were busy with a sea of smiles and a wave of praises.
'Ah...' Jane stood still on someone's roof in the capital, watching the capital rejoice. 'I didn't get to watch the coronation. Forgive me auntie... uncle.'
Her head shifted to her right. The faint smell of gunpowder didn't cease as if it was alluring her deliberately. She had second thoughts but when she saw a group of men, with commoner clothing sneaking into the alley as they discreetly share a conversation.
She decided to follow the mice, the longer she follows them, the stronger the smell of gunpowder gets and as she hunched. The mice went into a worn-out house where the gunpowder resides. As the men went in, she sneaked into the house without them noticing her presence.
