The Aunt and Niece

'Damn!'

Neodelle caught a glimpse of Virgo who was standing where they were before he left them. She had her bow and was aiming her arrow on Angeli who was calmly talking with her niece. "No! Virgo, put that down!" He shouted, confusing the woman who heard him clear with her enhanced hearing. Obeying with her questions aside, she ceased from shooting and unsummoned her arrow. Instead of the field, Neodelle ran to her who was looking at the two.

Virgo glanced at him for a second when he arrived near her. "Why did you stop me?"

The man glared at her. "Rather than sacrificing your enhanced sight to multiply your hearing range, balance them instead since you're as good as a blind woman who can't see the deflective barrier around the field."

Virgo examined the field, squinting her eyes and minutes later, she turned to Neodelle with a glare. "Now's not the time for jokes, Neodelle."
