Proffering of Nicolas Browne

Skye was walking alongside Nicolas Browne to the study room behind Skye and his assistants, all of them were quiet. The hallway was long, and they stopped at a big wood embroidered door. Nicolas opened the door, the room was huge and looked like a mini library on one corner, with a table in the middle and on the right side there were two white sofas, the room also had a fireplace and it has a warm ambient feeling. Nicolas Browne popped open an antique wine that had 1981 on the golden label, he smiled brightly as he poured in the two glasses. He finally broke the long silence of the room,

"Please have a seat young master, I would like to discuss an important matter with you." 

He said in a warm yet reassuring voice.

Skye took a seat in one of the sofas, facing in an opposite direction to where Nicolas Browne was. Lilith and Vesper went and stood behind him. Skye raised his eyebrow curious to what Nicolas meant by his last sentence.

"What may be your important matters Mr. Nicolas Browne?" 

His voice was confident and a hint of slight coldness, he sat still crossing his legs slightly.

He put the glass wine in front of Skye and spoke in a very confident yet gentle voice he can ever speak out.

"Well you see, young master. I heard you are expanding your company North Zanesville. And I would like to partner one of my companies as a subclass in your expansion, but the person who will look after it will be my daughter Cecelia, I want her to start learning the ropes of the business. I also heard that before the chaos happened you were there to save her?"

Skye couldn't hold out his laughter, and broke down laughing hard. Nicolas was shocked to witness that Skye Aeterna is bursting out laughing. Skye sat upright and straight and he coughed softly to calm himself down.

"Please excuse my rude reaction."

Skye laughter faded as he said in a serious voice 

"But Lord Nicolas as you may know a lot of well known businessmen also booked for partnering in the expansion. Don't you think this is cheating for everyone who was waiting for months to apply? If you really wanted one of your companies to be part of the expansion then you may book and list yourself."

Skye looked at Lilith and she immediately gave him a tablet, Skye scrolled to a huge list and he slid the tablet on the table, revealing numerous companies looking forward to partnering with his expansion in North Zanesville. Nicolas' eyes grew big and he had sweats on his forehead. He didn't expect that Skye would refuse his proposal.

"If that's the case young master, then I shall list my company and hopefully I would also get picked in your new expansion. Please look forward to the proposal letter the next day."

Nicolas said in a soft tone, Skye stood up from his seat and walked through the door

"I'll look forward to reading your proposal letter Lord Nicolas, if you have nothing else to say then I shall take my leave."

He said in a cold voice and leaving Nicolas all silent, he started walking into the wooden embroidered door, Lilith and Vesper followed his lead. Vesper was about to open the door when the door suddenly barged open. Cecelia came shouting in such a high pitch voice.

"Father!! I need to talk to you."
