Chapter 2
' WHAT?!'
Is the exact same thought everyone was having as their almighty God delivered the news.
Lucifer however, was indifferent. He smiled as if he knew this was going to happen.
Micheal and several others took notice of this.
' That bastard has something to do with this....' Their intuition was telling them so.
The glare of Micheal to Lucifer intensified even more, but he held it in for they were in the presence of his father.
This naturally accumulated him much more anger as he tries to keep it all in.
"Brother... Look at Luci-" Ariel was about to point out on Lucifer but Michael cut her off.
"I know.." Micheal growled. Seconds went by, silence filled the whole room as there were several uncontrolled thoughts escaping countless mouths.
The wisp once again glowed as the Almighty God began to speak once more.
" Once again, I, the Almighty God will soon cease to exist. Now I assume you all have questions and wonders but for now I will explain what will happen for the future. In other words, to whom will take over my throne. "
Once more, the whole entire place was swept by gasping noises as another shocking news was said.
Several angels were already crying as they held all their questions in. The demons were cheering while all the representitives looked more interested rather than worried.
Of course, the expressions of hunger and thirst showed upon the Archdemons while the Archangels remained dignified.
" Now, for the inheritor of my throne. This will be settled by a game."
' A Game?'
" The game will be about the last celestial surviving. The battle will be held at one of the places I created since the beginning of time."
" Earth? " Gabriel spoke out loud.
" Yes, that is correct. The battle will be held at Earth. I made this place so that there will be no celestial power manifestation.
All celestial beings are to fall down to earth and are to choose and posses any mortal creature. Once you arrive to earth, you will only have two minutes to posses any mortal creature of your choice."
" ... " The wisp stopped for a brief moment as if to observe it's surroundings.
" Lastly, after choosing your mortal body, you are to find and eliminate all the other celestial beings. Although celestial powers are locked away, your sacred treasures and powers are still bound to your soul. Meaning, you are able to manifest them to the mortal realm. This rule also applies to non-arch Celestial beings."
Sacred powers are special traits that an arch celestial being possesses. This naturally comes along with their sacred treasures in which significantly enhances their abilities. However there are other special cases in which some individuals are able to manifest their own special power.
" However, the ironclad rule that I made so that sacred powers are not abused is that there shall be no human to witness it and live. There will be no exceptions. All witnesses are to be eliminated. The existence of the supernatural and high celestial beings must be kept a secret.
The maximum time to eliminate the witness would be an hour. If unable to eliminate all the witnesses then the celestial being would be eliminated instead and cease to exist. Not only that, but you also must wait exactly twenty minutes after killing before you may start to kill another.
And lastly, If the knowledge of celestials on earth is known, everyone directly or indirectly involve will be eliminated. "
This made every arch celestial beings think twice about the usage of sacred powers
' I see....' Lucifer smiled as countless schemes formed within his head.
" This is a survival game, where the smart and strong empowers those who are weak. The only way to win is to either eliminate all the other celestial beings or 'Mark' them.
Each and all of the participants owns their own distinctive mark, representing their soul and titles. To get 'Marked' by another celestial being would mean your total surrender to them. Once you are Marked, there will be no more oppositions from you and are to completely follow your Marker's orders."
" But father, doesn't this mean-" Now even Micheal was unsettled for he was the defender of peace and unity.
" Any beings are free to participate. In five seconds after I leave, the portal leading to the mortal realm will open and it will close just as fast. I warn all of those interested to participate, the journey after entering the mortal realm and travelling across galaxies in order to reach Earth would be a difficult one.
Need not that I mention several obstacles including the existence of the voidlings. So be warned and careful and I, wish you all, the best of luck-"
" Wait! Father!"
"No wait! SIR!"
"Father!"
The archangels called out but it was already too late as the wisp disappeared into thin air and rip in time and reality opened up from where the Almighty God once was.
Without a second later, everyone came rushing towards it. Whether it be angels or demons, they all dashed towards the portal.
Naturally, the arch celestial beings were the first to go through. In the midst of this chaos, Micheal and some of the archangels stared at Lucifer as they all entered the portal at the same time.
There wasn't enough time for talking nor telephatic communication as the portal would close within five seconds.
WOOSH.-
WOOSH.-
WOOSH.-
WOOSH.-
WOOSH.- WOOSH.-
One after another, they all entered the portal and was transported to the mortal realm.
They floated through space and countless dust and stars. Without waiting for another second, they all dashed towards one direction; The Earth's Galaxy.
WOOOOOOOSH!-
The arch celestial beings raced through countless stars and planets. Some of the arch angels stayed behind in order to guide those angels who managed to get through while the devils remained unorganized and followed in pursuit of those in the lead.

Lucifer, being somewhere in the middle of the lead had two archangels following closely behind him.
He smirked as these two archangels were naturally Raphael and Micheal.
He looked behind and started to taunt the two chasers.
" Ho? what's this? surely you two wouldn't dare to try something while traveling across cosmos, right?"
In the cosmic galaxy, there exists roads that are called "mainstreams". These mainstreams leads a safe passageway towards various destinations.
These passageways wards off void dwellers. Void dwellers are dangerous and unknown creatures that travel through time and space. They come in all shapes and sizes as well as always been known to be aggressive towards everyone and anyone, sometimes even their own kin.
Mainstreams, although many in count, they are still very thin in size. In earth comparison, it can only be the size of a two way road. They have an invisible and very strong current that surrounds and act as the protective layer of the road.
If one was to be forced outside the mainstream, he or she will be left to fend off dozens of Void dwellers. Each being stronger than the other.
Not only that, but due to the fast and strong protective current of the mainstream, it would be very difficult to enter inside once again.

Those in the lead maintained distances amongst each other while Raphael and Michael remained close as they approached closer and closer to Lucifer.
Lucifer stared into their resolute eyes, as if they had already decided to make a move.
' Tsk, annoying....'
" Hey, come on guys don't stare at me like that. Make one wrong move and there are bound to be consequences."
His eyes narrowed as if to ridicule the two. Soon, they got close enough so that they could converse.
Michael, seemingly fuming in anger, tried to control himself as he gritted his teeth while asking a question.
" Lucifer.... what. did. you. DO?! "
Lucifer smiled. " Oh whatever do you mean brother?"
" You basta- I KNOW you have something to do with this!"
" Heaven's sake, of course I've got nothing to do-"
" Tell us, Lucifer!" Raphael cut him off as she asked in a rather commanding tone.
" You know what, I think it would be better if I just force it out of him." Michael started approaching even closer as he clenched his fists.
" No brother, you mustn-"
" She's right Michael." Lucifer once again wore a devilish smile as continued.
" Make one mistake and we're both in big.. BIG trouble. So... little Mikey... what. are. you. gonna. do?" His eyes narrowed as he looked at Michael's angered face in amusement.
At this time, Michael was already breathing in a rather fast pace as he tried to keep his emotions in check.
It has always been like this. Since the beginning, Lucifer has always been a bright child amongst them siblings, especially being his twin brother.
Lucifer always excelled at everything, leaving poor Michael in a pitiful comfort of their younger sister, Raphael.
At least, that's how he felt and he hated himself for it. Time flowed like water and Lucifer's brilliance always outshined Michael.
Whether it be omnipotence or omniscience, Lucifer showed to be better than Micheal on either. Complexity grew stronger inside Michael as he soon began to feel anxiety.
Pressure from just about anything. Everything suffocated him. One day, a thought wandered to his head.
' If only he didn't exist...'
Being the archangel he was, he couldn't bear of having such evil thoughts but the alluring sound of that one single thought made him able to rekindle the spirit within him.
And so with nothing else in mind, he poured all his stress and hatred into his physical training. He lived in isolation as he focused on his training.
Once again, years to decades and decades to eons. Michael soon grew stronger and stronger as he dedicated everything to his training.
Soon, he was forgotten as Lucifer remained the star of Heaven.
