"Did we really… have to do this"? In a very high pitched voice Xander asked/groaned. He, along with Violette Kane stood in front of an empty building that Kane located on her way down to earth. That's right; they made it to earth as Captain Kazaliur was able to replicate the required results. But that's not all they did before they landed on earth. According to Kane, it would have 'safer' to appear as anyone who did not look like themselves.

Sure, they could have chosen to look like anyone, but no, Kane had to insist they look entirely, entirely different. That's right they decided to impersonate the opposite gender. So apparently, they were posing as a couple where Xander posed as a wife and Kane as a husband. "This is so ridiculous" Xander groaned again, on the verge of barfing.
