"In these memories, there is no trace of what happened to them? No Trace of them ever being present in my memories at all?" Xander asked.

"These memories that we saw right now, they were highly influenced. You have edited them a lot, beyond a point of my detection of minute aberrations." Reiz declared. "Yes, that room full of computers was sort of an exception, but there was never meant to be a trace of either of these people in there."

"Well, I can't think of any other places to look, do you know"? Xander asked. Reiz went still for a while before he nodded in such a subtle manner that Xander almost didn't notice it. "Am I seeing things or are you telling me you have some way?" he asked.

"I do have an alternative way… but this is much riskier." Reiz declared.

"What is it?" Xander asked. "Given the circumstances, we might as well take any risks directed our way."

"How do you feel about letting someone in your head?" Reiz asked.
