Anchor

"Didn't you already stabilize him"? Kane asked instead. "Using his human side"? Kane questioned Ramir skeptically.

"As a matter of fact I did." Ramir nodded. "But I think, being a half-human, the process was way overwhelming. I was worried this could happen without an anchor, but at that time I had no idea that there is a potential anchor in the crew." She mumbled.

"Even so, you didn't think it was important to inform us?" Kane snapped.

"I wanted to…. But it slipped my mind. I find you people quite… intimidating."  She admitted honestly, while scared for whatever bashing that was headed on her way.

"We're sorry."  Xander mumbled. "We are taking our anger out on you. We were reckless too, so I guess we all messed up in our own ways." Xander sighed. Ramir was taken aback by his words. Was it the same people who were yelling at her a while ago. No one had ever yelled at her and then apologized to her later until now. Turns out, it felt pretty good.
