The Lost Alpha

"sorry guys, Vampires can see through the dark areas so we can see you the moment you stepped in into my place" Cazi was talking in a confident way.

"so what are you up to?" the bartender from the party said directly to Via and Kaleb now.

"ah we were just passing by" Kaleb grabbed Via's hand and was planning to run when Cazi stepped in to block the way.

"oops! not again wolfie! do you know that if I bite you right now, you can never come back to your body?"

"I know but I'm an alpha,all werewolves in the west coast will come and massacre your tribe"

"wooooh! scary hahaha do you think that matters when you're already dead?besides nobody knows that you were in Via's dream"

"well I know" Via interrupted

"hahaha and what would you do?when you're already our dinner for tonight" Cazi laughed again and all the others laughed with her

"don't say anything, just wait someone will come to wake us up" Kaleb whispered

"I know right?someone's going to rescue you so that means we don't have much time" it was Cazi revealing her skills of being able to hear whatever noise it is, whether its loud or not. All the other vampires are now preparing their fangs and yes they were about to attack them when something happened...

"ah Via???ah-are you okay???" Kaleb got scared but still managed to asked

"yeah I'm ah I feel ah different, I'm scared that the vampires will attack us but right now I don't know why my body is changing" Via is looking at her hands, arms, legs and feet. It's like something is happening inside of her.

"ah Dad?what's going on?" Via asked in her head while grabbing her hair as if his head is going to burst in pain

--I awakened your powers, just bare with the pain but after this. You will be...--

"aaaaaaaaaaah! Dad??!!what the hell!!! ahhhhhh!!!" Via screamed as much as she could. Her hands on her head, its like her brains are going to explode. Obviously, she was in pain and that made everyone in the room stepped back, they don't actually know what's happening.

"Via are you okay???" its Kaleb now worrying and trying to touch her

"Don't touch me! Aaaaaaaaaah!!!!" Via screamed again, it was her stomach and now her chest, her back and her limbs, its like everywhere is in pain and all she could do is scream. Her arms started to burst, her legs and wrist are now bleeding revealing her red blood.

The bleeding made all the vampires drool. They were biting their toungues to hold back their need to bite and suck but as soon as Via's blood hit the floor, it turns blue and that made them scared.

"Via?" it was Kaleb now checking on her if she feels better, he handed to her his hoody jacket to cover her torn skin and bleeding wounds.

"I'm okay, thanks! I feel better now" Via tried to wear the jacket and fixed herself. She felt energized and tired all at the same time. After she wore the jacket, she lifted her head up and looked at the remaining people left in the room.

"omg!she is a...a...a Levi" Cazi exclaimed when she saw her eyes.

Her eyes are red. The only sign that shows her legitimacy as a full blooded Levi.

The vampires got scared and half of the community went off and out of the mansion as soon as they heard what Cazi said.

Even Kaleb got scared. Until...

"VIZTA HARMONIKA UNILERITICUS" it was Ofel who said the spell and everything went black.

Via and Kaleb woke up. Kaleb stepped back as soon as he saw Via's red eyes, even Ofel got scared at her.

"sorry! please don't be scared at me, I won't hurt you, I promise! " Via said and was even trying to hold Kaleb's hands but he refused.

"Kel why are you befriending a Levi?" Ofel is now shouting at the thought

"I didn't know mom" he simply answered

"she is your mom?" Via was shocked as she looked just like his age

"yeah, werewolves don't age after they reach 30" Kaleb explained after comprehending what she was about to ask.

"get up now and we're going home" Ofel said with authority

"I'm not leaving mom,I already told you I'll go home on dad's birthday"

"what do you mean?you're staying here with a Levi?seriously Kaleb?" his name is now spoken in full, Ofel must be so angry by now but it doesn't show in her face, she still looks young and just blushing.

"com'on mom!I'm all grown up, stop treating me like a kid"

"fine!so what do you plan on doing?" Ofel said after a long pause, its been ages since Kaleb raised his voice on her so she must have understood she can't control him any longer

"I'm staying, Via is a Levi which means I'm safe wherever I'm near her"

Via doesn't really know if she has to feel glad or sad of what Kaleb said.

"I will keep him safe" Via said as if she is convincing Ofel to let him be with her

"then I'm staying too" Ofel said after transferring from the bed to the couch.

"mom!!!!" Kaleb is almost shouting

"fine fine,I won't be too nosy this time coz I really need to go back to the mansion, the west needs their Queen ugh!but I will visit from time to time and I will arrange everything here"

"arrange what???"

"you'll get a mail tom morning, see you next time." Ofel brushed Kaleb's long hair a bit as a sign of her temporary goodbye.

"you too, take care of my cub" she continued after facing Via and tapping her chin with Ofel's index finger.

She gracefully then jumped on the window into the woods and into the long dark street.

"hahahaha that was epic!" Kaleb laughed to break the silence

"yeah hahaha I think she doesn't really wanna leave you behind with me"

"well, technically she is a mom just like anyone else who wants to protect her own"

"I know right?hahaha so what now? I'm a Levi, I guess I'm an enemy now" she said it like a joke while trying to fake a laugh

"well I'm not actually threatened hahaha I'm just glad to have met a legend"

"hahaha I'm no legend dude,I don't even know what's happening to me"

"I'm not your dude coz I can never be your brother and..." Kaleb suddenly took two steps closer to Via

"and what?"

"now I know the reason why I can't read your mind..."

"which made me more interested" and another step closer, enough to smell each other's breath...

"hmmm I don't think I'm interesting in any way, you're just intrigued"

"I don't think so"

"if that's what you believe, I'm out of that. Good night" Via heads directly back to bed and as Kaleb watch her move back to where she was lying earlier.

"dad stop it please" Via is trying not be affected but she is blushing underneath the blanket.
