Li Xiang found herself in bed, again.
She sighed while looking up at the ceiling. Was it too much to ask for? All she wanted to do was admire the hunk of a husband!
Doctor Mo, who had been busy at her bedside, saw the young woman who was finally awake.
"Madam, you're awake!"
Li Xiang took a look at him before turning away.
Yes, I'm awake, now tell me what's going on with my damn body!
Doctor Mo sighed emotionally before crouching beside the bed. "Madam, you just received a slight shock, no worries I'm guessing you'll be fine in no time!"
Li Xiang wasn't convinced as she turned to look at him.
You already said I was retarded, should I believe you'll be able to fix me all up nicely and dandy?
A commotion came from outside before the door was swung open, and a foreign-looking young man came running in. "Big sister, I'm taking you home!"
Li Lei paused when he saw the withered looking figure before hurriedly came to kneel beside her pushing Doctor Mo to the side. "Big sister please don't listen to what they say! You have no obligations to stay in this house what-so-ever!"
Li Xiang shook her head utterly confused. What on earth was he on about?
"Big sister," Li Lei gently grabbed her hand, "come home with me, alright, you're in danger if you stay here!"
No obligation? Wasn't she a married woman?
Li Lei saw the expression on her face and instantly knew what his sister was thinking about, "sister, if they're telling you you're married, then don't listen to them!" Li Lei looked behind him; it was then Li Xiang noticed another man silently standing at the door.
"Cai, show her the divorce certificate!" The man called Cai, who was the assistant of Li Lei, quickly passed over a large grey envelope.
Li Lei pulled out the stash of paper inside and showed it to her, "see, this is your divorce certificate between you and that dog, it signed two months ago!"
Li Xiang saw the certificates and frowned, her chest was slightly uncomfortable seeing the two signature at the bottom of the page.
A divorce certificate. It had hers, Li Xiang's, name and his, Fu Yun, name written on it. So why were these people telling her that she was his wife? Were they trying to make a fool out of a sick patient?
Li Xiang became unexplainably angry as she glared at Doctor Mo who was huddled to the side before patting the shoulder of Li Lei.
Seeing her intention, Li Lei looked up and glared at Doctor Mo, "discharge her, get the stuff off we're going home!" Hmph, they were willing to hook her up to IV drips to keep her here? How cruel of them!
Well, there was no way in hell; he was allowing her to stay here any longer! That damn bastard dog, the next time he sees him he'll beat the living daylights out of him!
Li Lei, with the help of Cai Duan, managed to stuff Li Xiang into the car before she could change her mind, the trio quickly left the mansion without the slight hesitation.
Inside the car, Li Xiang had realised how impulsive she just was, but thinking about how she had been lied to for several weeks she threw that slight regret out of the window.
So what if there was a handsome man back there, she should've realised there were some things off about the fact that she keeps fainting every time she saw him! Hmph, the next time she sees him, she'll make sure to beat him up!
While the sibling had the same thought, at Fu Corporation's main building Fu Yun suddenly sneezed, did he catch a cold?
Back inside the car, Li Xiang was conversing with her brother through text. When Li Lei had found out his sister had speaking difficulties and that she'd lost her memories he'd wanted to head back and set fire to that damn doghouse.
Something so important and that bastard hadn't thought of notifying her family?! He deserved a beating, no, no a thrashing wasn't enough for a dog like him.
While the two were filling each other up on past events, they had finally arrived at Li family's mansion.
Li Xiang looked up at the imposing house which wasn't inferior to the one she had previously been in.
Damn… why does everyone like big houses, she can't deny that she didn't like it either. Such a prominent place must have a big garden… maybe a garden full of roses?
Li Xiang was carefully led into the mansion; however, the second she set foot inside she was splashed with water.
"Li Ma Biya, what are you doing?!" Li Lei angrily asked as he saw the teenager that was standing with an empty bucket in hand.
"It's holy water; I'm making sure things gets purified before entering the house!" The young girl glanced at the wet figure; her expression changed slightly when she saw how pale she was before quickly running away.
Li Lei wanted to yell at her to come back, but seeing how frail his big sister was, he quickly forgot about that trouble maker before ordering the servants who had been shocked to grab a towel.
Li Xiang was silent as she watched the bustling activity around her, her eyes her slowly gazing over everything.
Unlike the last house, she didn't feel familiar in this place… or instead, she felt slightly cold and detached as if… as if this wasn't a place she called home.
Li Lei sighed as he knelt beside Li Xiang again, "big sister, don't worry about Biya, she's still slightly immature."
Li Xiang smiled as the young man who was looking at her, worried. Li Xiang shook her head as if to tell him not to worry.
"Although she's immature at least she doesn't bite the hand that fed her all these years." A man's voice sounded before a figure stepped down the stairs.
