I stared at the goblin camp.
They didn't look like the typical small, ugly and green goblins that I knew in anime and manga.
They looked like normal humans except they might have a few more teeth than normal. Though it wasn't why I was staring so intensely. Overshadowing them all was a huge shadow. The sun was still bright in the sky but his shadow still covered several meters.
What stood in front of me was a 6 meter tall goblin. Or should I say orc. Goblins with the height of normal humans. I guess the height of a goblin had effected what height they would've been if they became an orc.
Now that I took a look at it I guessed that I would've snapped like a twig if it would've punched me once.
I guess I'm not attacking this camp today. I prepared myself to leave except I felt like something would go wrong soon. A rustle of leaves and twigs had interrupted the environment of the bored goblins and attracted the attention everyone including me.
The sound came from Haruka!?
Of course he would attack. I facepalmed. When did he even get here?
When all the goblins had turned to Haruka they all saw him welding a katana in his hands. Of course it's a katana. What else should it be? I dunno? A REGULAR SWORD!?
Never mind his hidden weeabo nature even though I never took him as someone who watched anime.
He had rushed in and was surrounded by goblins on all of his sides. I watched him clash against some of the goblin's swords and fail to fully defend himself.
I watch him from afar not doing anything, it's his fault and he should bare responsibility. But since I was nice person, I had entered into the battle...not before watching him get absolutely rekted by goblins.
I slashed at the goblin that nearly made Haruka legless and joined the fight. Turning around Haruka nearly swung where I was in surprise.
"WHAT ARE YO-AGH YOU DOING HERE?" Talking while fighting wasn't really my style as it's really hard to concentrate while trying to fight for your life.
"SAVING YOU" Those words were the only ones that could become my alibi as he didn't know I found this first. Just as I was about to call dibs too, shame.
Swinging at incoming swords and thrown rocks, these goblins had an average stat of 12 - 13. But the most noticeable was that their intelligence were 2 - 3. Though they had low stats, they had power in numbers.
Since I always had the best stamina I was planning to stretch this out as long I would like and then finish them all in the last second.
The towering orc seemed unbothered that we had ambushed his camp and continued lazily laying down on a soft pack of grass.
I guess this had angered me more then ever as I unleashed 'Bloody Sword'.
[Mana: 190/290] -100
[Health: 340/350] -10
My hand dripped with blood and stained the shining iron sword I was holding. The red aura had once again returned and engulfed the blade. My attacks became sharper, fiercer and faster. The goblins couldn't keep up and started faltering in my attacks.
*CRACK*
A sword that a goblin had swung broke as it met head on with my blade. With a quick slice, his head dropped to the floor along with its broken sword.
[Level 2 : 156/200] +20
Bruh.
Wheres my Exp? Why did the horned rabbit give so much Exp? What does it have that the goblins don't?
...
Stats...
Ughh, I'm wasting my time with these weak goblins! I unleashed a furious wave of slashes and kicks.
[Level 2 : 175/200] +19
[Level 3 : 12/400] +15 +12 +10
[Level Up!!!]
[Level Up 'Bloody Sword' !!!]
[Level 3 : 37/400] +9 +9 +7
They were giving me nothing. Every kill lessened the Exp by a lot so the Exp farm I was hoping for disappeared.
Eventually what surrounded me and Haruka was a bunch of dead goblins and shattered swords. Surprisingly my sword hadn't broke. I scrolled through the menu logs and found out that 'Bloody Sword' had upgraded.
==========
Skill: Bloody Sword lvl 2
Description: Stained by the high concentrated mana blood, this sword has been strengthened and upgraded to the next level.
Effect: +7% Attack Speed, +12% Attack Sharpness, +2% Blade Toughness
Cost: 115 Mana, 15 Health
==========
So that's why my sword didn't brake. But I still don't think that the whole reason. An increase of +2% blade sharpness isn't that much, right?
Maybe I should first find out how strong a grade 1 sword is.
*UUUUUUUGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH*
The orc was sleeping. Really? I guess it really does what to die. I looked at the tired Haruka besides me. He was swaying back and forth on his feet, seemingly like he could fall so suddenly. And he did.
*THUD*
His body fell and I let him collapse. What? Responsibility is on him. If he didn't charge into a group of goblins and possibly flagged an event somehow, then I would've caught him.
I looked at the sleeping giant and thought whether to attack him or not. I checked his stats and quickly left dragging Haruka by the foot.

I guess we can bother that orc another day, maybe when we are much more powerful.
I returned to the campsite dragging the passed out Haruka and met with the stare of most of the girls as they hurried to me, or most likely, Haruka.
I let go of his foot and walked far way from Haruka while putting distance between me and his fans. Most went up to him and 4 had walked up to me.
One was Yua Fujiwara, one was Miss Prim, one was Handa Rai his older sister and the other person was a shy girl in class. At one point I was friends with her and liked her a lot. But I guess I got over her and moved on.
Her name was Hina Ichika. She was a conserved person and stayed to herself. She was beautiful though see would pass by your eyes and you wouldn't bat and eye towards to her. She was a loner and covered her face mostly by her long hair.
In front of the 4 girls, that all had an expecting face or an angry face like the pouting Rai. They were expecting me to say something? What did I do?
I went back to the place where I had slept and sat down. I looked them straight in the eyes.
"What?" They tried to talked but kept stuttering, but eventually Miss Prim eventually stepped forwards.
"What happened to Haruka?" She kept looking away while trying to avoid my eyes. I see, a tsundere even though he isn't even here.
"Also, why are you and Haruka covered in blood when you came out of the forest?" She was not a tsundere? The voice she used was full of excitement? What the hell?
Then I remembered she was a vampire...
"Try not to kill Haruka, I'm going for a swim." I sprinted out of the campsite straight to the water and dived in. Others were confused, especially the 3 other girls.
Emerging out of the freezing water, the sun was still in the process of rising. I was pretty sure we had fought for a few hours, so why is it still early? Was it because the days or time is different?
*DING*
What is it now, I was pretty sure nothing had happened yet.
