As we entered the taxi, I was all wet and drenched. After a bit of apologies from Rose, I just smiled at her as said this was fine.
We ordered the taxi to drive to the apartment complex. We passed museums, which I've been told to carry the weapons and artefacts from the heroes years ago. The heroes before the third disaster.
Man, I need to learn about this world. I still don't even know anything about the Holy Land of Mana. I guess I know what I'm doing today.
I bid goodbye to Rose, but before she left I asked.
"Do you know where the nearest library is?" She nodded and said the directions to me.
"Are you sure you don't want to ride with me? I can take you" I shook my head.
"I've already wet the car too much" I looked at my wet clothes.
"Hmmm, fine! Cya later rookie!" She waved goodbye from the window of the car.
"Bye bye honey!" She stopped what she was doing and blushed. The car already drove away but I could still see the redness of her expression on her face through the window.
I was just about to head back into my apartment and figure out a way of drying these clothes when a man beside the entrance had spoke to me.
"Isn't she a bit too old for you?" I raised an eyebrow at the sunglass wearing man.
"And I'm sure your at that age where you spy on other people's lives. What's it to you?" I joined the man and when I used 'Observe' on him, he had stats all over 200. He seemed interesting so I stuck around him.
"It's nothing to me, but it might be something to you"
"What do you mean?"
"You said that you were looking for a library? Go right and then take the second left. Walk down the stairs behind the fast food joint. Tell the door the numbers 67F01"
"And why should I believe you?" The man started to walk away in that direction. With a gruff voice he said back.
"I work there..."
...
I entered my apartment and took off my clothes and showered. When I had arrived I noticed that the bags I was carrying were clothes that were meant for me, I notted that I should pay her back. But for now, I think I'll just use them and then pay her when I have the money.
When I finished showering, I wore a simple yellow and black hoodie. I wore black thin joggers, just in case I have to run away, I want to run away in comfort. On my feet were the same cheap sneakers Rose had first brought me at the adventuring guild.
The only thing I needed was a weapon, but an unnoticeable one. One that looks ordinary and weak. I touched the wet bandages around my neck. I might need more bandages...
...
I walked out of the apartment complex with fresh bandages. It was raining so I put up my hood and followed the mans direction from before. I took a right turn and entered into a alleyway. The first left exit followed to another road, I went through the second left turn up ahead. It led to a lonely restaurant.
I walked around the lonely restaurant before arriving at the back. What was behind the restaurant was stairs leading up and down a suspicious tunnel. I looked around once more before going in.
The tunnel was lighted by a glowing orb, I tired to touch it but as soon as I touched it, it absorbed into my skin. Oh, right. My blood absorbs mana. Whoops.

Interesting, I can get skills from mana? I think I might touch a lot more stuff from now on.
I continued walking in the dark and tripped over, I might actually need this skill. I used 'Shine' and created an orb of light.
[Mana:520/570] -50
An orb of light shined above me and lighted my way down the stairs. I tried controlling it and it felt surprisingly easy. I made it spin, and wobble across the air. It was a surprise to myself that it felt fun, but I guess no one is around to see me so it's fine.
I then tried shaking the orb into different shapes but it didn't work. I tried more and more but nothing worked so I tried getting physical. I grabbed the orb and sent mana to my hands.
I first caressed the orb before I exerted pressure with my hands and mana. I shaped it into a 5 pointed star.

I think I definitely should've gone to this place sooner. It's given me so much skills!
I had finally walked and arrived at the end of the stairs. On front of me was a cell door? Old, creepy, poor and strange man, are you sure I should do this? Meh, it's his fault if anything's happens.
I should really stop putting this much trust in some people. One day it's going to bite me in the back.
I stood in front of the door and said.
"67F01"
*BING*
"Enter!"
A shout had come from inside the door and I peaked my head inside. The room was dark so I commanded my star of light to enter in before me.
The room brightened and showed three doors. Each one had writing on it. One said damage, one said ranged damage and the last one said support.
I though for a minute before entering the room.
*THUD* *CLUNK*
The door behind me shut itself and locked. I guess I'm trapped now. I'm pretty predictable and gullible.
I remembered what I had said to Rose's dad. 'I'm a supporter' I'm going to sick by my words, only till I'm am able to stand my ground against some of the strongest will I change.
I know I am a coward, but who says that a support can attack? Yeah, that's right!
I walked to the supporter door and opened it. Inside was a portal white portal.
I looked at the room checking if there was anything else I missed. I checked and checked and nothing changed. I guess I only have one decision here.
I faced the white portal and went inside...
