Loitering

4 days passed, so it was Thursday.

Since I was allowed to invite two people, I decided to invite Ordos and his sister because they were the only people I could think of. I was thinking of inviting everyone at the inn but then I remembered how chaotic they were and just decided to leave them alone. They were ok with not going since they were gonna party… which they do every night. That is why I have these bags under my eyes.

I feel they are partying even harder after they heard I was getting knighted. Ugh, I really need some sleep. But today I'm off to the plaza because I still haven't picked out a uniform. I just wish ceremonies weren't so formal and orthodox. If they were just simple and short, then that would be better. But I guess I have no choice.

Before the king had left, he handed me some medals. He said I could go to the tailor in the plaza to get a uniform picked out. This medal can only be used once so once I use it, it disintegrates and that's the end of that. This is to prevent anyone from abusing it. I consider them as free passes to get whatever you want. I was given a few just in case I also wanted to get a weapon replacement since I lost my daggers and my Ninjato. For a while, I'm thinking of getting something else other than just swords. But that's for another day.

After leaving the inn, I walked over to Ordos' place to ask if he wanted to come to the ceremony that is held for me in three days.

When I opened the door and entered, the place was packed. Seems business is as busy as usual.

I eventually shuffled through the crowd and found myself a seat. I sat down and waited till the line shortened. I never liked long lines or crowded areas so I always take a seat and wait till the line or the crowd shrinks.

While I was waiting, I've noticed that I've been attracting many gazes and I didn't know why.

A few minutes later, the bakery seemed to have gotten more crowded and there was no sign of any shrinkage. I decided that I could just ask him tomorrow since there are only two days left. That was until I heard a voice.

"God, it was crowded earlier but as soon as you walked in, it just keeps growing."

Looking up, I see Ordos in waiter clothes.

"What do you mean?"

"Have you looked in the mirror? You are attracting more customers than I can handle!" He whispered loudly in my ear. Luckily no one could hear us because it was pretty busy.

"And how am I exactly attracting more customers?"

"Let me just say that you have the potential to become a playboy if you weren't so introverted."

"Is that a compliment or… nevermind? I came here to talk to you by the way."

"About what?"

"I've been granted nobility by the king. I'm officially becoming one in three days-"

Thump!

"Hmm? Hey Ordos, you dropped your note… pad?"

Ordos was frozen and he didn't move an inch. I waved my hand in front of him to get his attention, but he didn't react and his eyes were completely empty.

"Uhh…"

"Oh no! Big brother! Wake up!"

Manami ran over to Ordos' side and started shaking him.

"Wh-what is going on?" I asked.

"My brother always goes into a trance whenever someone mentions to him that they are getting something better than him. He basically has a minor inferiority complex!"

I watched as Manami continued to shake Ordos but to no avail. Really, this guy has an inferiority complex? I did not see that coming.

Everyone eventually began to turn their attention towards us and I knew I should snap Ordos of whatever state he is in.

I got up and placed my hand next to his ear, turning my index finger into spirito. And you know what comes next.

"Don't scare me like that next time. At least give me a warning." Ordos complained as he scratched his head.

"Either that or I call you a deadweight."

"Shut up!"

I was currently standing outside of Ordos room while waiting for him to change. Christ, he takes a really long time, doesn't he?

After he got out of his trance, I asked him if he wanted to come to my ceremony. He rejected at first, but I said there was going to be a party and that I could invite his sister as well and showed him the medals. And of course, he accepted after that. I can already guess the real reason why he accepted is to see Manami in a dress.

I also invited his parents but they declined as they were busy with work. Well, can't blame them.

After this, I am planning to train with Ordos. I've been slacking for a long time and I bet he's already racked up some power. But I'm waiting to see how he will manage against me in full-spirito.

"Alright, I'm done!"

I turned around and Ordos opened the door. When I saw his outfit, I almost wish I didn't.

"Why are you wearing a frilly jacket? You aren't going to a royal party right now! Did you even hear what I said?"

"I heard we were going to a party."

"You are clearly the dumbest person I've ever met. That's on Sunday, now CHANGE!"

"Alright!"

After a while, we finally left. Right now we were walking down towards the plaza to the tailor the king had suggested I'd go to.

While we were on our way, Ordos asked me if I had grown a bit.

"What are you implying?" I said as I stopped and turned towards him.

"N-not to offend you or anything, it's just that you look a bit taller. Right, Manami?"

"Yeah."

I turned and scratched my head. If I really did grow… well, I'm not complaining or anything, it's great that I grew like what? 1 centimeter? I guess I won't find out until I get to the tailor. They can take my height measurement and I'll find out there.

Upon arriving and entering, we were greeted by a lady.

"Hello, how can I help you?"

I showed her three medals; one for me, one for Ordos, and one for Manami. When she saw them, she nodded and walked to the back and a man walked out.

"So, you must be the one his majesty was talking about." The man said to me as he stroked his beard.

Hmm, for some reason he kind of reminds me of Henry.

"I'm guessing those two behind you will also be needing clothing."

"That's right."

"Then come with me."

We followed the man into the back where each of us was led into a room. There were mirrors surrounding me and I could see my reflection from every side.

Later, a man entered and began to take my measurements.

After a while, everything was done and I told him exactly what style and color I wanted. I don't think I need to tell you because it would be pretty obvious. All slim, and all black. Like how all my clothes are. Well, the only color I'll mark as an exception is either violet or any color darker than gray.

I was also given my measurements and Ordos was right. I had grown, just 5 centimeters though. So I'm 170 cm now... I don't feel any different...

Anyway, my uniform will be delivered tomorrow. I'm a bit impressed with how fast things can be made in this world.

After Ordos and Manami were done, they went back so they could help their parents. While they did that, I went to Decus to request new weapons. I think I had too many weapons on me last time so I think going with just one would be alright. I requested a snake eye style ninjato and even fully customized it myself. Like my uniform, it will also be delivered tomorrow. After that, I left and exited the plaza.

I looked up and it was already dark. Seems I've taken my time, I'm feeling a bit hungry too. I should go back and cook myself something.

My training plans with Ordos had been moved to the day after tomorrow so for the next day I guess I'm free.

Now that I think about it, did I ever give his spear back? I fought Marth with it and I don't think I ever gave it back. Well, he hasn't said anything so I'm guessing he got it back.

Along the way, I stopped by a shop to get new gear after my previous one was... well eaten. Still not a bright memory.

Though I wonder, whenever I transform, does my gear vanish or stay? Last time I transformed my clothes stayed in their original state so maybe the same goes for gear as well. I'm still not sure but I'm guessing it will.

Now then... time to loiter around.
