Duel 4

"...Begin"

As soon as this word came out from the mouth of Veena Ainsworth and countdown reached 'zero' Jeane suddenly disappeared from where she was standing and appeared in front of Gilgamesh and slashed with her sword at Gil but Gil blocked her attack immediately

Seeing her attack was useless Jeane immediately started to send barge of slash from different sides and angles of Gil by disappearing and then reappearing again but Gil was able to block her attack every single time and few time would dodge her attacks in succession rotating his body on heel (A/N Like Sakuna against Black haired emo brat in Jujutsu Kaizen)

People watching were impressed by them by still it was big  blow to their expectation that their fight is so simple

"Typical Gilgamesh " Baron Gilles commented

"If he doesn't fight like this then he wouldn't be himself" Veena said while looking at them and then continued and said "Looks like they have done warming up"

Seeing her attacks are ineffective, Jeane choose to retreat

"Shall go real now saintess " Gilgamesh while wearing his white suit with red shirt and golden accessories and soon he started to smile widely and suddenly a golden aura started to form around his body and ground beneath him started to crack soon these cracks started to head towards Jeane and then all of a sudden out of this crack ground burst under the guidance of Gil's divine energy which covered the Jeane's vision

And all of the sudden Gilgamesh suddenly appeared from behind the rocks slashed at the Jeane to which she reacted by blocking it with her sword but she underestimated the power that slash and send flying as result of which on only stopped after sliding few hundred meters with stone pillar at her back

But before she could take a breather Gil again appeared before her and slashed horizontally at her bur this time she didn't blocked it but instead dodged by jumping on the pillar which is now falling backward due to Gil's slash

Gil followed her by running up to her  on the falling stone pillar and soon her get past her while slashh his holy sword at her in process but she parried it her her sword

Gil turn to toward her t o get ready for another attack but before could Jeane slammed her foot on the pillar hardly, in result breaking causing Gil to fall down with it

As soon Gil landed on floor, he placed his sword horizontally above his head in order to block a powerful slash Jeane from above which she performed while jumping down at the Gil

When the sword collided it created a visible shockwave which even reached the audience and many of them visibly shaken from impact

Gil throws Jeane away to maintain a certain distance with as she started get offensive

Back in Audience

"WHATTTT!!, How could be possible, he is going toe toe with Saintess in close combat but that shouldn't be possible, how could he, no wait a minute he... he..." Gilles shouted while pointed at Gil

"He is overloading his Magic Circuits with divine energy and running it to limit what his circuits could handle, a  dangerously a critical balance, just a off the scale he could be seriously injured or worsts cripled" Veena explained

"And people say that I am crazy " Gilles saaid in mocking tone

Sorry Guys I will not be able to upload second chapter today that I have promised because today I had a mock test

And was not uploading because I have been reading 'I became second generation rich villain' and I must say it is great story and must read from my perspective
