Maxwell is one of the two X Forces soldiers was confirmed dead and his partner disappeared shortly after his demise after confirming that it was a planned kill from their inner circle.

Now with new threats arising and being unable to defend, they put out a search for Maxwell after being spotted on a CCTV camera as he's the only one who can help with the destruction of their enemies.

When the new arrivals get wind of this, they send forces after Maxwell as he and his partner are the only ones who can help them win their mother planet back from their oppressors.

Looking at my churred side profile, I didn't even look bothered as a golden hue covered the affected parts before a new skin formed.

All these actions happened in the blink of an eye. So not much has happened since the explosion.

With a wave of my hand, the debris, flame, and heat were pushed away by an invisible force while I disappeared from my current location.

The air vibrated as I caused friction on the air particles. In a breath, I had already reached the flying middle-aged man and my hand turned into a fist.

Immediately after, the man flew like a rock before hitting the ground. Debris covered the whole place before a tiny hole appeared before his disheveled person.

As his eyes fluttered open, a fist landed squarely on his face. His cheek split open as blood stains flew all over. I could even swear that I felt a few teeth falling off.
