Family: Mom, dad, step-mom, older step-brother (Jeon Wonwoo), and younger half-sister (Jeon Somi). 

Author P.O.V: You're wondering what kind of person Jungkook is right? So, let's do a little research, shall we?

Jeon Jungkook grew up in a wealthy family. His dad is a very well-known businessman who owns three of the most popular corporations in Korea.

On the other hand, his mother had a tough childhood growing up in the countryside in Geochang. Despite her misfortune, she was happy enough to meet Mr. Jeon while he was visiting her family's farm. A few years later, the couple had a huge argument that had made Jungkook's mother leave the house without notice.

His older step-brother, Jeon Wonwoo, was a smart cookie and got straight A's during his school years. He was known for being called the teacher's pet. After graduating, he decided to become an idol and debuted as a member of 17 in 2015.

Somi, his younger half-sister had a very enthusiastic, amiable, and amusing personality. She didn't really enjoy studying in school, so her parents told her to give up her studies and do whatever she desired. Because she loved the idea of singing, dancing, and dreamed of performing in front of a stage, she decided to become a solo k-pop artist.

Jeon Jungkook was such a bright and happy kid, but after his mom left the house, everything had changed. He didn't like studying, he would bully any nerd in school, he was popular as his looks killed everyone in school, he had a cold in the outside yet warm in the inside personality, and he was looking for a chance to impress his secret crush. After graduating from college, he decided to become a professional boxer.

Flashback to Jungkook's High School Days

Jungkook: "I TOLD YOU TO BRING ME A COPY OF THE HOMEWORK. DIDN'T I??"

??: "I'm so sorry Jungkook-shie. I thought I put it in my folder. I must've left it on top of my desk."

Jungkook: "HUH!! SORRY? DO YOU THINK I'LL ACCEPT YOUR APOLOGY JUST LIKE THAT HYUNJIN-SHI *snaps his fingers* STOP MAKING ME LAUGH MR. I KNOW EVERYTHING IN F*CKIN SCHOOL."

Hyunjin: "No, I'm really sorry Jungkook. Next time, I'll for sure remember to put it in my folder."

Jungkook: "There is no next time because you're dead."

Jungkook starts to pour all of the milk his gang brought from the cafeteria on Hyunjin. After pouring 10 cartons of milk his gang starts to torture the living h*ll out of Hyunjin.

On the way to lunch was Y/N, Rose, Somi, Yeji, Dahyun, Sujeong, and Yuqi coming from their previous class. They were confused as to why there was such a big crowd and uproar coming from the school field beside the cafeteria. When they suddenly hear the crowd going "THAT'S WHAT YOU GET Hyunjin." "YOU CAN'T BEAT THE JEON JUNGKOOK." Y/N gasps when she hears the name Hyunjin while Somi is angry and shocked when she hears her older brother's name.

Y/N P.O.V

I was furious when I found out that Somi's older half-brother was bullying poor Hyunjin, but had to keep my cool inner side. I was planning on running up to Hyunjin, but before I knew it Yeji, Hyunjin's close friend and cousin were by Hyunjin's side while Somi ran to Jungkook.

Yeji: "HWANG HYUNJIN!!!!"

Hyunjin: "Yeji??!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? Shouldn't you be in lunch right now?"

Yeji: "Lunch isn't the problem right now, why are you here with that douchebag and his gang?"

Jungkook: "Douchebag?? WHO?? ME?? DO YOU WANNA DIE?"

Somi: "OPPA!!!!! What are you saying to my friend? I thought you knew better than to bully people especially my friends' cousin."

Jungkook: "HAH Friend my butt. Jeon Somi, I thought you knew better than to be friends with these losers. And can you stop calling Oppa? I'm not your Oppa."

Y/N couldn't stand the situation any longer, so she ran up to them before things worsen.

Y/N: "OK STOP BOTH OF YOU, PLEASE. I'm sorry about cutting off this family moment, but shouldn't you be apologizing to Hyunjin Mr. Gang Boss."

Jungkook: "Who are you to be calling me a gang boss? Do you really know who I am?

Y/N: "I can call you anything I want and NO, I don't know anything about you JEON JUNGKOOK. Do you think I want to learn about you and your stupid a**??"

Jungkook: "Are you done yet you b*ch and are you sure about that?"

Y/N: "HUH- I'm a b*ch now. I can't believe my ears and I'm 1000% sure."

After Y/N confidently fights against his words, Jungkook slaps her hard against her cheeks. Everybody was shocked to the point their jaws were wide open. Y/N gasps and holds her cheek while tears start slowly falling down.

Somi: "Oppa!!!! What are you doing? Are you out of your mind?"

Jungkook: "I told you to stop calling me Oppa, didn't I?? Yes, I am in the right state of mind. If you and your stupid, ugly, bratty friends weren't here, I would've already killed that nerd." *points to Hyunjin

Somi not believing what her older half-brother said, she ran off to whoever knows. Y/N still on the ground, grabbing her now red cheeks, said something that not even Jeon Jungkook was able to fight back.

Y/N: "Yeah, I know we're f*ckin stupid, ugly, bratty pieces of sh*t, but at least we don't go around playing with people like they're useless items. You know what, I wasn't going to go this far, but why don't you do something other than bullying because it doesn't suit someone as rich as you. Maybe become a boxer, idol, or aha a businessman just like your billionaire father."

Y/N: "Listen well Mr. Jeon Jungkook-shi. The reason why I didn't want to swear earlier was to not scare poor Somi off because she's my friend. Anyways, I hope you have a normal life instead of hurting other innocent and amazing people because in the end good always wins while evil rots in h*ll."

After saying her brave speech, she leaves the now calm scene with her friends and Hyunjin before Jungkook disturbs the moment of silence. Jungkook wanting to be alone picks up his belongings and decides to go home.

Author P.O.V

After Jeon Jungkook came home, he immediately went to his room not even checking if his sister came home. He realized and regretted all of the mistakes he has done ever since his mom left. Due to his warm inner personality, he wanted to sincerely apologize to everyone he bullied and a couple of Y/N's friends, especially to Hyunjin.

After contacting everyone he was debating whether or not to contact Y/N for his rude behavior. He sincerely wanted to apologize to her but was too ashamed of asking for his forgiveness after slapping and saying random sh*t to her, so he let it all aside for later.

After his decision, he soon realized his words he said to his younger half-sister. He decides to apologize for his stupidity before having to eat dinner.

Somi's P.O.V

I'm currently in bed thinking about what Jungkook Oppa said earlier at school.

Playing the scene in my head over and over made me realize my mistake of calling Jungkook Oppa, Oppa. I know how agitated he gets whenever I call him Oppa because he's only my half-brother. Although it was part of my mistake, he shouldn't have hurt me, Y/N, and Hyunjin. Starting to think about what they had to go through, I start to tear up and sob into my pillows so no one can hear me.

Too deep in my thoughts, I didn't notice that 'he' was knocking on my door until I heard him say "Somi?? Somi. Can I talk to you for a minute?". I was honestly upset and angry, but I wanted to hear what he had to say.

Somi: "Sure, come in."

He quietly opens the door and shows his usual sad smile. After he fully steps into my room he closes the door the same way he opened it. After he noticed the tears on my face, he runs up to me with a shocked face as if he saw a ghost.

Jungkook: "Somi, I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. I know you probably can't accept my apology, but I wanted to tell you that I was a stupid jerk to do that to you, Hyunjin, and Y/N." *sobs and kneels in front of her*

Jungkook: "The thing is since my mom's disappearance it's like everything I do is worthless and I'm just a nuance to this family. Never in my life did I think I would be a bully and do the things people would see mostly on dramas or movies."

Jungkook: "No matter what, I shouldn't have embarrassed you in front of your friends saying that you shouldn't call me Oppa. You, Somi, are the kindest, sweet, and talented half-sister anyone can ask for."

Jungkook: "Even though we only have the same dad, you're still my precious younger sister. From now on just call me Oppa."

Somi: "Oppa." *cries even more*

Somi: "I always knew that you had that warmth in you, just like your mother. See, although you might look cold on the outside, you manage to be a gentleman in your heart and soul." *smiles*

Somi: "Also, I accept your apology. Honestly, I was really upset and angry from what you did at school, but I know that you are sincerely apologizing and you won't do that again from now on, right?"

Jungkook: "Yes Miss Jeon Somi-shi. I will promise that until the day I die" *smiles*

Somi: "Okay, Mr. Jeon Jungkook. By the way, did you apologize to Hyunjin and Y/N?"

Jungkook: "Umm the thing about that. I apologized to Hyunjin and a couple of other people, but didn't get to apologize to Y/N." *looks at the ground*

Somi: "And what would the reason for that be?"

Jungkook: "B-Be-Because I'm afraid I'll accidentally hurt her even more and I'm ashamed of my actions. For now, I have decided to put it down and do it later"

Somi: "You promise to apologize to Y/N later." *puts out pinkie*

Jungkook: "Of course, it's a must after the raucous I've made." *connects pinkie*

Maid: "Kids, your father is home, and dinner is ready"

Jungkook & Somi: "Coming Auntie!!!"

Author P.O.V

After dinner, they each return to their individual rooms. Jungkook being the type of person to spend a lot of time alone decided to pick an occupation he really wanted to succeed in. Scrolling through the college professions online, he discovered the perfect one for him, a professional boxer. He has never had private lessons as a kid but had an interest in watching boxers on television.

Becoming a professional boxer will allow him to work out frequently and make his father proud of creating a skill Although he knew his father would want him to do something less violent, after all, it's his decision and future. After speaking to his father, he was very excited about what's to come.

Time Skip

Year 2021

Christmas

It was on one snowy Christmas evening when Jungkook was at his apartment in Gwangju. He was about to order some food on the phone, but there was a knock on his door. Not expecting anyone because his family was busy this year, he hesitantly opened the door.

Not knowing who the man was at first, he asks "Who are you, sir?" The man lifts up his hat, removes his glasses, and grins at Jungkook. The man was one of his enemies at work who was planning on killing him.

Jungkook: "Why the h*ll are you here? How the h*ll did you even get my address?"

Hyungsik: "Hey. Hey. Calm down. I'm just here to say good luck on the match this weekend." *pats him on the shoulder*

Jungkook: "I'm sorry, but I don't need any thanks from coming from an old haggard like you. Didn't you say you were only supporting Eunwoo from now on?"

Hyungsik: "What are you saying? Do you want to die you bastard? Who are you calling an old haggard?"

Jungkook: "Huh. You're planning on killing me now. Try me, but before you do let me just call the police."

Before he can call the Gwangju State Police, Hyungsik says "OK. I'll leave. I'm leaving now. Bye." After Hyungsik leaves, Jungkook just couldn't believe what just happened. Wanting to destress, he pulls out a cigarette and his lighter and heads to the balcony.

Just as Jungkook was about to light his cigarette, he sees Hyungsik again and notices something odd. He seemed to be calling someone and laughing like a maniac. Yes, he was calling his trainee Eunwoo. Being the rude bastard Hyungsik is he rolled down his window and yells at Jungkook.

Hyungsik: "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT YOU F*CKIN BASTARD??!!" *puts out both of his middle fingers*

Not being able to control his anger anymore he decides to forget about smoking because he never had the intention to smoke after what happened to his close friend. Screaming in agony he throws the lighter straight at Hyungsik's car, but lands on the concrete while the middle-aged man was still on the phone. Hyungsik hearing the loud clank decides to put the call on hold and see what it was.

When he saw it was a lighter, he looked up and saw a frustrated Jungkook. Being the cocky man he is, Hyungsik puts the lighter in his pocket and yells "THANKS SON OF A B*CH." Entering the car, he forgot that he was still on the phone with Eunwoo, so he had decided to continue the call while beginning to start the engine. Hyungsik not knowing that an SUV was coming from the other side was happily conversing while having one lazy hand on the wheel. As soon as Hyungsik looked up, he realized he screwed up bad. As soon as he ended the call, the cars had collided and each went their own ways.

Hyungsik not knowing that an SUV was coming from behind in the middle of the call he had begun to drive, but had just realized the oncoming car in his right-side rear-mirror and pressed the brakes hard causing the cars to slip past each other while only the SUV fumbles forwards.

Park Hyungsik being one of the worst people on the planet fled the scene, not wanting to get in trouble. Wanting to help the victims of the other car, Jungkook ran as fast as he can to help the people in the SUV. Reaching to the left side of the car, he happens to see a bloody girl slightly conscious.

Author P.O.V: Jungkook doesn't recognize Y/N because the last time they saw each other was highschool.

Jungkook: "Hey. Are you okay? Hey you, lady?"

??: "h-hel-help my family, sir. Help them please"

Jungkook comprehends her words and decides to call an emergency.

Jungkook "Hello, this is 119, right? There's an accident here at ------ street in Gwangju with a total of 4 badly injured people. Please hurry."

Hospital: "Ok, we'll be right there sir"

At the Emergency

Three hours after the surgery

Jungkook P.O.V

Jungkook: "Doctor Kim, how is she? How are the other family members?"

Doctor Kim: "Who are you? What is your relationship with them?"

Jungkook: "I'm just a guy who witnessed the accident. I have no relationship with any of them, but I'm really worried about them."

Doctor Kim: "I'm sorry sir, but it's the hospital's rule to not discuss a patient's status if you don't have a relationship status with the patient(s)."

Suddenly a girl comes dashing through the doors sobbing and tightly grabbing her phone.

??: "DOCTOR!! DOCTOR!!! Where are they?? Where's my Y/N?"

Doctor Kim: "and who are you miss?"

Chaeyoung: "I'm Y/N's friend, Park Chaeyoung, the one you called 30 minutes ago."

Jungkook: "Y/N?? Chaeyoung?? Park Chaeyoung" *in head*

As I remembered one of the nurses saying they had information on one of the lady's friends, she planned on calling her to hurry up. I seemed to remember the names, but couldn't figure out who they were. Completely in shock for what he had done, he decides to hurry and go home, not realizing he had dropped his boxing business card.

Meanwhile with Y/N

Y/N P.O.V

I had felt pain all over my body and couldn't move a single muscle. When I opened my eyes, I couldn't see anything. Everything was blurry. All of a sudden I hear someone's voice.

??: "Y/N. Y/N. Are you alright? Should I get the doctor?

Y/N: "Is that you Rose?" *puts out her hand to touch her*

Rose: "Yes. Yes, it's me you pabo." *sobs*

Y/N: "Where am I? Am I at a hospital?"

Rose: "Yes, yes you are. You were in surgery for a while, but I'm glad you're doing well Y/N."

Y/N: "Surgery? Me? How about my mom and dad? How about Hoseok Oppa? How are they doing? Tell me!! Right now." *sobs*

Rose: "About that."

Just as Rose was about to say what happened to her parents and older brother, the doctor and nurse come into the private room.

Doctor Kim: "Aha. I see you're awake Miss Jung. Hello, my name is Doctor Kim and this is Nurse Haewon. How is everything? Do you feel pain anywhere?"

Y/N: "That's not important right now. Where are my parents and brother? How are they?"

Doctor Kim: "Miss Y/N, please calm down and just listen to me carefully."

Y/N: "Ok, I'm listening doctor."

Doctor Kim: "I'm sorry to tell you this, but your parents and older brother have passed away on the site of the accident."

Y/N: "WHAT!!!! WHAT!!!! WHY!! What did I ever do to deserve this?" *screams and hits herself*

Rose: "Y/N. Jung Y/N. Calm down, please. It hurts to see you like this."

Doctor Kim: "Miss Jung. I know it's hard to manage, but I'm truly sorry for your loss. It's honestly a miracle for you to even survive the severe accident" *calms her down*

Y/N: "Well, how in the world did I survive this accident?"

Doctor Kim: "You survived this accident with the help of a young kind man."

Y/N: "And what would his name be?"

Doctor Kim: "I'm sorry to inform you about this, but it's the hospital's rule to not discuss a patient's status if you don't have a relationship status with them. So, I couldn't get any information about him."

Nurse Haewon being the nurse that spoke to Rose previously had remembered the name and was about to say it. Rose noticed the light bulb on her head signaled to her to not reveal the name. Being the obedient girl she is, the nurse doesn't say a word and instead decides to forget about it.

Doctor Kim: "Also, I'm really sorry to inform you about this, but you, Miss Jung Y/N are blind."

Doctor Kim: "There was no chance of me fixing your sight during the surgery due to the amount of blood you lost, but you can try to get an eye surgery to fix your blindness permanently."

Y/N: "Blind?? Me?? That's why everything was blurry when I first opened my eyes. Eye Surgery?? There's no way I can afford that. Is there another way Doctor?"

Doctor Kim: "I'm afraid not Miss Jung. I'm sorry."

Before I can speak again, there's a knock on the door revealing another nurse. She needed Doctor Kim and Nurse Haewon for an emergency meeting about another patient. After saying their farewells, Y/N and Rose were both avoiding each other and didn't speak one word.

Y/N: "I'm sorry Rose, but I'm a little tired. Can you visit me another time? If you want, I can text you when I'm feeling better"

Rose: "Oh, I'm sorry. And yeah, of course. Anything for you Y/N. Have a nice rest and make sure to eat all of your meals. Bye Y/N.

Y/N: "Bye."

Will Y/N be able to meet Jeon Jungkook again? Will Y/N and Rose's friendship end like this or will it become even better than it was?
