Ah-ha, we're working now. Hi! I'm the narrator. I don't quite show up as much as I would like to, but I can only do so much. The only way I get paid to talk about the characters that the main character cant find until la- I mean Ummm nothing have fun introduce the main char-

"Hi, my name is Alex. I live in city F, the lowest city in the country, Valanhine. The lowest city is in power level, superpower level; yeah, this world revolves around superpowers. It would be awesome, but. It doesn't matter. My power isn't any good anyway; I can't do anything to help me get a job or help with everyday things. So what's the point of telling you. Look, all I want to say is I'm sorry, mom." With a sigh, I close my laptop to do something people have told me to do forever.

Before I could, loud noise goes off, and I turn around and my best friend Travis, my brother, even though I don't have one, he's a big black guy the man looks super scary, but he's a big cuddly teddy bear he wouldn't hurt a fly. He lives in city A; he's super strong; we met when my elementary school went on a field trip; they said it was educational because we could move up there. But even back then, we knew that was bullshit because not one person had moved up to city A from city F. Very few have moved from F to B, but like I said, Very few. But anyway, getting sidetracked from what I am talking about? do you think you could use Turtles as bowling balls? OH, do you think that they sound like surfers like that one movie? Off-track again, sorry. When we were on the field trip, I got sidetracked because of my ADD, and his parents found me some charming people. At the same time, they are terrifying people also super-wealthy.

They still won't tell me what their powers are, but I bet it's spawning money. They took me back to their house, which is enormous; by the way, Travis won't admit it, but they are rich. I got to play with him as his parents called the police so my family could pick me up, and they exchanged numbers, and we've been friends ever since. Oh, I never told you his superpowers; he can turn into a giant with enormous strength; he was born with that power. See, most people gain their abilities before they go into kindergarten then are judged by how good their power is. Still, if you're born with powers, you are automatically placed in city C, but his parents were already in city A. So if Travis we were to be judged not to belong in city A, his parents would either have to move down to City B, send him down to city C, or, worst of all, kill him. It is so messed up, sure, but people have tried to change it, and they have gone "missing" out of nowhere, and the cops look for a day then say they tried everything. That's what happened to my dad. I'll never forgive the cops. Thankfully, he grew outside of the building and broke the roof, so he was good except for the bill. Now his skills are more redefined to grow without strength (although I don't know why he would) or stay the height of 6' 7" and have the power of a giant. Which is what he did to my door that's going to cost a lot to fix " Dude, come on, that was my door!" I yell, exasperated, "Sorry." Travis says sadly, "I'll get you a new one. But you have to get ready for school. We're going to be late."

Travis says I look over to the clock and as I would have it. I have 8 minutes, which would have been fine if I could have just finished what I was about to do, seeing as I can't go to school as a splat on the ground. But I guess it'll have to wait; also, I'm sure you're wondering why he goes to my school and not city A's school because his parents are elite citizens. They can do almost anything they want. So he goes to my school, and you're now wondering why they don't have me go to city A's school. My mom and I can not do whatever we want, even if we have A citizens on our side. So he goes to my school. I get up to get undressed to put clean clothes on. I stop and look over to Travis, still in the doorway bobbing his head to an unknown beat. "Get out so I can change; take the door with you," I say to him. He nods, walks out, then runs back in, grabs the door, and takes his leave. I get in black sweat pants, a black band shirt, and my green Irish hoodie that I got from my grandfather before he passed on.

Ready to go, I walk out, and I see Travis and my mom Carroll talking on the couch. My mom's superpower is that she can turn on any small household object like a rumba, so no way to get anywhere with that, but she does have a job and a maid for City's A through D, thanks to Travis' parents help and yet they still make her travel the entire way which sucks. She notices me and stands up, " Hi honey, I have some food for you for breakfast. Have a good day at school." My mom is the only thing that keeps me alive, but lately, I have been slipping farther and farther down the slippery slope to eternal rest. I feel bad that soon I might have to put her through the same thing she had to go through with granddad. But this living business is getting annoying" -ex alex ALEX!"

My mom says, bringing me back to reality, " Are you ok, honey? You had a sad look on your face?" She asks worriedly, " Is the medication not working?" another question I can't answer. I know that the medication is not working, but it's costly. I can't make her pay that besides, She'll save money without me around. " I'm fine, mom. I love you," I say with a fake smile. I can't tell her. I grab my breakfast and make it out the door with Travis on my heels. He comes up beside me. "Alex, dude, you sure your ok because you didn't look ok in your room.?" He says, searching for any lies in my eyes, " I wasn't ok because a big ass rhino came through my door." I say, snickering; he smiles, nods, and walks in silence to school, where we meet up with my other friend Jonas.

He lives in city B. His class had a field trip to F, and they went to where I was working for the food. We got to talking, and we exchanged addresses, he wasn't exactly an elite citizen, but he still has lots of perks. He thinks he's invincible with them, which gets him in a lot of trouble. Jonas has the power to change his body to rock. He's gained control of it so he can change his body into rock in a millisecond. It works excellent in fights. They don't know what hit them. Mainly, it helps with shaking for concentration, so he works with welding and general construction. He can have almost any blue-collar job, which makes him quite useful he would be in A, but Jonas wasn't born with those powers, so he's in B. I don't know why they came here to go to school in F city, but they decided to go to the worst school in any city. I will never understand why. " Sup fucker." Jonas yells to me; getting some angry glances from teachers ; he's a skinny kid 6' 1" Don't let that fool you. Even without his powers, he still hits like a truck, he's more than a little bit of a trouble maker, so he's used to those kinds of looks. I find it hilarious that he hasn't gotten kicked out yet, but we are talking about A and B citizens; they wouldn't kick him out even if he blew up the school (He's gotten close a couple of times). Jonas is pretty cool.

Hi, the narrator here because our dear friend here isn't explaining the city well. See, the cities have walls around them. Outside of those walls are what they call the wasteland. It's where superheroes train and work to hone their abilities. To get out of the city to the next, you drive up to the top of the wall. Take a bridge across a few miles long. If you go from F to A and B like Alex's mother does, you would take a teleporter. Teleporters aren't everywhere because they are costly. It takes quite a bit of power to keep them running, so they only get from very far places to other rich people like Jonas and Travis have their teleporters to go anywhere. They are much more expensive and cost even more to run, but It's just pocket change to them, not to mention that all the cities are 586,412 square miles long, so you can imagine why they have teleporters anyway back to your story enjoy.

We walked into the school; bullies tore lockers off the hinges and on the opposite side of the hall. Multiple kids are already on their way to the nurse because of broken bones, and such luckily for me. I have two powerful bodyguards. Unluckily for me, we have no classes together, so I get bullied a lot because my classmates need satisfaction, not to mention my power, if you can call it that. I think it's best. If I tell you now, then you found out my power later. My power is that I can mimic small household pets. Yup, that's it. I can't understand animals, nor can I know myself when mimicking the animals It can't even be used for hunting trust me I've tried. At first, I thought it would be good because I can be a hunter or a veterinarian, but soon after I started 1st grade, I realized that my power would not get any more powerful, so my power is useless. My mom hates when I say stuff like that, but it's true nothing works out, and everything is wrong. I feel bad for my mom for having to put up with me and the same with my friends; I hate burdening them with being alive. But it's no time for that. I have to get to class. I say goodbye to Travis and Jonas and walk to my first class math.

Mr. Heisenberg isn't mean, but he doesn't entirely pay attention to his students because he used to be in city C. Still, his son was born with the power to overcook food, or so he says he bumped down to E. He can only work here, so he sees this as a means to an end and wants to get it over with, which is understandable. His power is making people bored literally. He makes people lose interest in whatever they're doing, I go around on all fours caring snacks for the bullies, and popular kids could be worst. I could think this is fun. I get through that class. Then I go to Language Arts with Mrs.Wielder. She's sickly nice. No pun intended because her power makes you choke on lovely scents. In all seriousness, she is the most excellent teacher and probably the only one who wants to be there since she lives in C because she was born with her powers. She is the only teacher whom 100% chose to be here.

One bonus is that she doesn't give that much homework here & there, sure, and a test at the end of the week, of course, but other than that, she's super easygoing. So I get a break in that class to thank the universe. Next is Mr. Ito, who teaches science Nobody knows his power for some reason. He's nice, but points get taken off because he leaves the room a lot and gives us too much work sometimes. Mr. Ito gives us his TAX RETURN. Paperwork because he has nothing else for us to do. I do my job and most of the classes because all the bad kids are in my class because of bad grades. Now I'm stuck doing their job.

Last but not least, at least to some of its social studies with Ms.Lyell, she has the power of seeing everything that touches the ground for a 45-mile radius. She has nothing wrong with her; she's eh really. Don't get me wrong, she's excellent, and she's pretty cool no work, but it's canceled out by her never being in the room, and she always keeps an eye on the small guys yet never does anything, and so she's, not the best but not the worst. Luckily I don't have any more classes after that. We don't get a language because of being the worst, literally. Now I get to go home-"YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE!" I hear a scream behind me. To be continued.
