The Western Battle

As we walked, I learned that his name was Kenta, and he was very entertaining. Before we got to the castle, I apologized for breaking his leg, and he said it was no problem until he started losing blood again. I rapped his leg up with some vines, and I helped him walk to the kingdom. He kept apologizing for that, but I didn't mind.

When we arrived, other soldiers carried him to what looked like a hospital. More soldiers led me to the castle, and if course, I got a lot of stares. There were some hybrids I've never seen before, such as porcupines and skunks. There were also mountain lions and raccoons, but I didn't see any birds or snakes. When we arrived to the castle, my mind was blown.

The castle was made out of sandstone, and it looked very old. When I entered the castle, I heard someone yell, "Amethyst! Stop right there!" Suddenly, a girl bumped into me, and the person said, "Ugh, look what you did! I am so sorry sir." The girl hopped off of me and when I sat up, the person gasped. "Oh my! Yukio of the Southern Kingdom?"

I looked up, and I saw two girls. The one on the right had dark green hair and brown eyes. Her pupils were very thin slits, and the girl on the right had purple hair and green eyes. Her pupils were also thin slits, so I assumed that they were snakes. Amethyst gasped then said, "Oh stars! Is that really Yukio!? So so nice to meet you!"

The green haired girl hissed, "Manners, woman!" Then she turned to me and said, "My apologies. My name is Bee, the demon of envy. My "sister's" name is Amethyst." I said, "I'll only be staying for one night. I'll be home before you know it." Bee backhanded Amethyst and said, "Why can't you be this polite!?"

"Princess Bee!" A hawk flew in shouting her name, and he said, "Northern soldiers are coming! They know of Yukio's presence!" Bee said, "Prepare the sky warriors, and give this to Kenta!" She handed the hawk an apple, and a pigeon plew in and landed on Amethyst's shoulder. As the pigeon chirped, Amethyst's face was covered in fear.

"They brought bears, and they got Angel." The hawk flew away, and Bee said, "This is bad... we need to bring out our machina." I was surprised when she said that word. I never knew they had machines in this world. Amethyst said, "And they keep threating us by saying "we have the storm fox". I highly doubt that they actually found him.

Bee sighed and said, "Let's watch the war. Come, Yukio!" I followed her out of the castle and we walked along the castle borders. We got to a wooden ladder, and we climbed on top of the wall, and all we saw was pure chaos. There were eagles and hawks flying all around dropping rocks on the Northern army, and bears biting the necks of the Western army.

There was so much bloodshed for just one battle. In a split second, something caught my eye. It was hard to see, but I saw an invisible person headed our way. I asked Bee, "Who is Angel?" Bee looked at me and said, "An assassin that can turn invisible. She gets away with killing someone every time." I focused my eyes on where she was, and I saw an outline of a girl.

I said, "She's coming this way." Amethyst said, "Good eye! Just tell me where she is and I can kill her with my venom!" She shrunk down into a purple viper. "I've never seen a purple viper before." Bee hummed to herself and said, "Why, of course! She's one of the last purple viper in existence!" I looked down at the field, and I was able to dodge and creep her way into the castle. I said, "She's near the gate. Hurry over there."

Amethyst hissed and slithered down to the gate. Right when the invisible person got next to Amethyst, I shouted, "Strike now!" Amethyst did as she was told, and she bit into the invisible person, injecting her venom into her. Amethyst was pulled off and thrown somewhere, and the girl finally appeared. She had a curled tail that had the colors of the rainbow, and rainbow hair. Her kimono was just white, and her eyes were white.

She collapsed onto the ground, and a guard carried her to the medical ward. Amethyst slithered back, turned into a human and said, "Oh boy! It's so weird biting someone invisible!" Bee sighed and looked at the battlefield saying, "Whatever. At least we got rid of one of the major threats. We just need more info on this "storm fox", and I have seen no storms at all so far."

I just stared at our comrades and their blood. It was like a nightmare I couldn't wake out of. Then I heard someone roar. I looked at the gate, and I saw a white kitsune growing. He ran foward and trampled a lot of the enemies. When he was his full size, giant chains trapped him, and he couldn't get free. I wanted to help so bad, but I couldn't move.

I watched as the Northern army stabbed Kenta while he was trying to escape. I watched as more and more people got killed, and I couldn't take it anymore. I balled my hands into fists, and I swayed my tails angrily. Suddenly, a storm just appeared, and Bee shouted, "What!? Where's the Storm Fox!?" Amethyst glanced at me and she looked surprised.

She whispered into Bee's ear and Bee glanced at me. I honestly didn't care what they were saying, so I kept watching the fight. The Northern army grew fearful of the storm, and suddenly, bam! Lightning struck one of the chains that trapped Kenta. Soon, lightning broke all of the chains and he was free.

Kenta went on a rampage, killing all if the bears and leaving the rest of the army to his comrades. Bee put her hand on my shoulder and whispered, "We need to talk."
