Luna Athena

Damien entered my room with some pizza. It was meat of course.

"How was school today given that you left early." He asked placing the plate on my night stand.

"It was school ." I say in a bored tone. While I was happy he was there, I was for some reason annoyed.

"I didn't know your were that strong or could fight like that." He says in total awe. I shrugged.

"Being a rogue meant that I had to train and learn how to fight and protect myself." I replied.

"Well I guess being a white wolf helps too." He says and I smile.

"I actually didn't know that was the reason before school today. I always wandered why as a child and even now why I was stronger, faster and smarter than my parents." I said smiling at the mention of my parents. He smiled at me too.

"I guess you should eat and get some rest," he says and gets up to leave and I let him although my wolf was becoming depressed to watch him go.

'You'll see him tomorrow' I say to her but she still frowns. I get up and take a bath. I then take the pizza and ate, then fell fast asleep.

The next day as I walked the halls everyone showed me respect although there were some who seemed unwilling. Blair growled at me angrily. It truly was different. I guess that comes with being Luna.

The bell rang and my first class of the day was advanced hunting and prey technology. I changed into my wolf in the locker room and headed out to the hills where our class was going to be held. It gave me a great view of the land and of the greater part of the town. It felt so nice to feel the wind in my fur and the breathe the fresh breeze. I sat in the row next to Julia's grey wolf swishing her tail happily.

I was given the task to hunt a bore for lunch. Bores weren't hard neither were they easy.

I search for its scent and then ran. When I reached the spot where I smelled the scent was strongest, I went towards it creeping quietly until I found it. I took a few steps hiding behind shrubs then I waited for it to let its guard down. Then at the right moment I pounced. It ran but my wolf was faster but I liked it when the ran for their lives. I jumped and stuck my claws into it and brought it down biting its neck to slow it down so it wouldn't be struggling against me when I was bringing it back. Although it would be fun to have it wriggling in my teeth desperate survive. I told you my parents raised a monster.

I took the bore that was about the same size as me and placed it on my back and walked back to the school proud about my kill.

Other students who were bringing in chickens and other animals looked shocked at me.

Damien who stood at the doorway look pretty pleased with me as I lay the dead animal on the kitchen table for it to be prepared for lunch. Because my wolf was in control she sat at Damien's feet and watched the other students bring the food into the kitchen. It was as if we were king and queen and they were giving us offerings. Damien pet me and rubbed my fur. I wasn't going to lie it felt pretty great but then I remembered we had to meet back on the hill. So I got up said goodbye to him with a tail wag and ran back to the hill.

Julia had taken her place on the grass so I sat beside her as she greeted be.

As a breeze passed my nose familiar a scent came with it. It was of rogues that used to stop by my parent's house. Something told me that although it was familiar and maybe even friendly for me, to all the other wolves it caused them to go into battle mode. What were they doing here? Was this an attack? That's when someone in human form came running to the hill with a battle cry that made all the wolves here except me feel unsafe and threatened.

"Rogues!!!"
