Chapter 5: Class advancement quest

"Haaah" I'm stuck at the peak of second layer it looks like I need denser Qi to absorb but unluckily the Qi here is not that dense but the origin forest has dense Qi but it's only in the inner area where 4-7th layers of Qi condensation beasts are. The strongest beast in the forest is the purple dragon lion and is at the foundation establishment realm 1st layer.

Currently if I try my hardest I can beat peak 3rd layer Qi condensation but I'm not even so sure about that as some beasts have way more defense and attack which would be a disadvantage for me. Without dense Qi I might be able to break through in about 2 weeks though which isn't all that bad.

'Wait can I buy bloodlines?'

[yes you can buy anything that will help you win]

Chicken bloodline: 50 points

Worm bloodline: 25 points

Golden eagle bloodline: 10,000 points

Azure serpant bloodline: 75,000 points

White cat bloodline: 50,000

Tortoise bloodline: 75,000

'Ehhh why are they so high cost? And wtf big chungus'

[ they are high cost because they are apart of the 4 heavenly kings and you can evolve them to have the vermillion bird bloodline, azure dragon, white tiger, black tortoise ]

[that is what they are revered as in the immortal realm the 4 beast gods, well there's another one]

[ it is the qilin ]

'Eh you mean that thing that looks like a dragon?'

[yes but it's bloodline is mysterious and unknown and was born immortal and very very powerful]

'How much does the bloodline of it cost? The lowest one'

Since I had earned points from killing those cultivators and the extra points from the beats I decided to buy the golden eagle bloodline only because I get wings once I reach foundation establishment realm.

Days past and I spent them training my constitution became better, my speed was becoming too fast but I didn't mind. I have also practiced my archery and out of no where I got a quest.

[ Class advancement quest: kill a beast at the 4th layer of Qi condensation

Time limit: 1 week

Failure: your class will not advance]

'Isn't this too easy? With enough preparations I can easily kill a stupid beast of the 4th layer, although they are on another level if i can prepare then it won't be a problem'

[ your class will advance to archer master ]

'Do I get anything from the class?'

[yes you get points for achieving the class and you will get a bow that is at the peak uncommon rank]

'That ain't bad'

[your vision will also be enhanced, and your concentration will be increased when your shooting]

My vision is already very good because of the bloodline, my nails have become super hard and sharp, I also became more flexible.

"I would like to go to the forest"

"10 bronze for 1 hour, 10 for 2 etc..."

I handed him 20 bronze and headed in I ran as fast as I could and after bout 20 minutes I reached the edge of the inner parts of the forest, I saw lots of Qi condensation layer beasts but all of them didn't pass 5th layer.

I rested on a tree and waited for nightfall and waited tills some beasts slept.

*thud thud thud*

Big footsteps starting coming towards my direction, but few seconds later it stopped and silence enveloped the area, I went ahead and saw it with my own eyes, it was a 4the layer peak Qi condensation realm beast.

I got a few arrows and aimed it at the eyes and shot it, but the eyelids were unusually strong and only 1 eye was penetrated. It got up and started howling and banging it's chest with his hands. He took the arrows and crushed it into peices.

If I got caught I was surely going to get crushed but instead of that, my mind went blank and my eyes went red with a tinge of gold and I disappeared from my spot.

My speed increased 10 fold and I seemed like a blur, I struck the apes arms and it only got a scratch. And slapped me back. I landed with a backflip and stared it down eye to eye.

The ape became made and howled to the sky and charged forwards once he reached near me he swung his hand but what he hit was only the ground, I had jump shifted to the to of the ape and struck its head.

The ape started to jump around and threw me away I got a few arrows ready and shot at the ape, the ape thinking it was gunna stop it waited but before the arrow landed on him he felt cold. Looking down he saw his organs falling out of his stomach.

"Rawwwr" it screamed in pain and launched at me ferociously but as time passed his speed slowed down and he became slower and slower. Soon he stopped looked at me and then fell to the ground.

"Hahah that was fun, finally something that could last against me for more than 10 minute"

[ congratulations]

'Awww I was too careless my arrows are gone I only have 40 more'

If I had went against a 5th layer then I would've probably would be injured, instead of putting it in my pouch I dragged it to the entrance.

"Call the elder"

The guard looked confused but then saw the huge ape and quickly ran. Why did I not want to be low key? Well I wanted people to know how powerful I am, I am hoping to go to the bigger kingdoms.

The next morning news had spread that Goto had killed a white ape at the 4th layer some might say what's the big deal? But that wasn't the case, Goto hadn't even started cultivating and his physical prowess was unimaginable.

Low level empires started inviting me but I wasn't really interested in them and I can't even if I wanted to. I have to spend 4 years in the military and it was a contract, I couldn't join other kingdoms. Only my parents could terminate the contract.

I didn't spend more time in the forest cultivating as more beasts would be attracted by the blood and if more than 2 come then I would surely have suffered.

"Kid I have news for you"

"Yeah? What is it elder bo?"

He handed me a paper with writings on it.

Dear world-

God land will hold a exam for the military, everyone is allowed to participate but to join depends on ones ability. The exam will be held in 20 years.

Hahaha what luck, in under a year I can probably enter foundation establishment, and after a year or 2 I will enter the next realm and after 20 years I may be able to enter soul formation realm, I would only be 33 years old haha.

Everyone all over the world got the news and hoped their geniuses will be able to become a big person in god land so their statuses can rise.
