First Impressions

We had finally made it to the city and everything seemed like it was going fine if not a little too fine. Dismas and Reynauld took me to the medical hall and we got our wounds treated and bandaged but the doctor told me to avoid any stressful situations so my leg could heal more effectively but I had no problem with that. It's not like I was looking for a fight anyway, besides I needed to take a break after the events of the last two days anyway.

< What are we gonna do now, do you want to meet those two at the bar or do you have another idea because I'm drawing blanks here. >

"Before ''we" do anything you need to explain what the hell that was back on the road since when could I do that and if I didn't when were you gonna tell me I could?" I looked at my hands and even though I got cleaned off I could still feel the caked blood sticking to my skin and metallic taste in my mouth. I also remembered the rush it gave me when I bit into that guy and I still didn't know how to feel about that one just yet.

< The event on the road was all you. I didn't necessarily have to tell you anything because I'm pretty sure you would have figured it out on your own. But if you must have everything explained to you I'm happy to indulge, what you did was a form of wildshaping or the ability to transform your body or selected body parts into that of any organic creature whether it be as small as a mouse or as big as a whale. But what you did yesterday seems incomplete somehow you were supposed to turn into a full wolf not whatever you were. >

"Well it worked and that's all that matters, I just hope we don't have to do it again anytime soon." I looked down at my now clean hands but I could still see the black smudges on the tips of my fingers but something was different. They had somehow spread farther than they were last time I looked at them reaching down my hand onto my wrist. I ripped a piece of cloth from the ragged clothes I was wearing and wrapped it around the markings as I made my way through the streets trying my best to not to bump into anyone.

I spent a few minutes wandering around before I eventually came upon a large wooden building with two familiar faces standing in front it. Dismas was currently talking to a woman wearing armor that had a similar look to Reynauld's, I couldn't really make out what they were saying but it looked like they were at least friends by the smile she was currently sporting. "There you are Ms. Rose, how are you doing this fine evening?."

"I'm doing fine, it's good to see that you two are doing alright after what happened yesterday." We made light conversation about what they spent their time doing after we separated and they eventually introduced their friend Audrey who worked at the bar we were standing in front of. "So you're the girl they saved from the dogs huh, you sure showed those bandits some hell you deserve a stiff drink for your efforts."

Audrey grabbed my hand, swung the door open and the four of us entered the building and were met with sounds of people yelling, laughing, and otherwise having a good time. "Let's find us a table so we can get acquainted more properly." We slowly made our way to the back pushing through the veritable wall of people until we reached a secluded table all the way in the back.  Audrey singalled to one of the servers to bring us some drinks and food, when they got back we were presented with four glasses and a bottle of a very expensive liquor. Dismas grabbed the bottle, ripped of it's cork and began to pour himself a glass, he brought the now full glass of clear liquid up to his lips. "So Dismas I here that you've somehow stumbled across a map connected to the mansion uphill while you were on your way back to town." Dismas filled another glass and downed it again, "why do you ask?"

Audrey picked up the bottle Dismas had been drinking from and took a long drink before slamming it in the table "let's make a deal."
