Guys My Age (Part 1)

"MMMmmm, this French toast is amazeballs!" Violet states after a swallow. "You're sure, you don't want a bite?" Even after the time they just had, Nick was feeling like an unconfident teenager. He was already in love with her, he just didn't want to say it, out loud.

He tries to play it cool, shaking his head, as she lifts the last bites to her lips. "So, what else did you want to talk about?" Her voice was pleasing to him. It was just slightly deeper than one would expect from seeing her, which gave her this touch of sultry depth, Nick wasn't sure exists, but she sure sounds like it's a part of her. Violet's lips wrap around the final bite, as he mentally fumbles for the words. "I'd like to see you again?"

She didn't like how serious he was all of the sudden, but she enjoys hearing what he is saying. She continues chewing. The silence made him a little uneasy, so he continues. "I would like to do a long term project with you."

It was all he could come up with, to keep her in his life.

Her eyes go wide more than they already do. The thought of making more films and more money making them race through her brain. She could hardly believe he was asking her for more, but she likes the feeling of being wanted by this man who sits before her. A man who just did what he did, and with such passion; she was hanging on his every word.

Meanwhile, Nicks mind was incapable of thinking about anything but holding her in his arms again, she would have been touched, if he had just said that, instead, he scrambles to say anything else. "I enjoyed working with you today." It was the only thing he could say to convey his sincere desire for her, and not feel like, or worse, come off as, some kind of lovefool.

"I could tell." She said with a playful smile, and raises the coffee to her lips for a sip. As she drinks down the last of what was in her cup, Nick spoke again, with a blush on his face, from her last words. "Would you come in again tomorrow?"

"Isn't it supposed to rain?" Violet asks when she finishes her coffee and set down her cup.

His heart sank, it was written all over his face. "I'm just joking with you. You don't need to take it so hard, it's not like your dick." Nick chuckles at himself, and relaxes a little. Her making fun of him was so endearing, he couldn't be mad.

"Do you like to play in costumes?" Nick asks.

"Yes, of course... wait, do you mean... You mean Cosplay, right?" She didn't just catch on quick, she was way ahead of him, as Nick adds, "Well, like for Halloween, I was Captain America, It was a lot of fun but at the end of the night I went home alone, and it seemed like, a waste."

Violet's eyes went wide again. The synchronicity was like a slap in the face, that felt good. Maybe too good to be true. But there it was. She had also spent the night of Halloween, alone. Yet, the costume...

It sounded surreal to her. Violet's Fuqboi exboyfriend once had told her that Peggy Carter and Steve Roger's were married in the comics. Violet had followed the little synchronicities in her life. The fear and excitement she felt this morning was ten times stronger now.

Nick doesn't understand why her face changes through six different emotions in six seconds. Her whole demeanor changes. At first it was recognition, then amazement, then more, but he couldn't tell what those were, because he didn't know her well enough. Her confusion ends with an odd sense of resignation as she places her hand on Nick's.

"It's funny you say that, I went as Agent Carter. Go on." Is all she says, though she was thinking to herself, "If he ever promises to make me stardom, I'm so the fuck out of here, but, for now, I'm listening and following the synchronicity."

Nick doesn't know how to go on. He wants her to stay in his life, so much he was willing to pay for her company, to make more videos with her. "I noticed when you were filling out your paperwork, you said you want to be paid by check today, but in the future, you said you would to take the Bitcoin option."

"Yes, Charlotte paid me, and I uh, know a guy I can cash out with, what about it?" Violet asked.

"I just want to find an appropriate way to compensate you for your time. Many jobs pay every other week, or like on the first and the fifteenth. What if I were to transfer two bitcoins a month, for as long as we are working together? Would that work for you?" Nick is just trying to make sure she has everything she needs to live. $20,000 a month he hopes should be enough.

Violet's jaw drops. That was $5,000 a week at today's exchange rate. "I'd be happy to show you how to invest on the Robber of the Rich App... Oh your phone. We can fix that today too." She can tell, he is just trying to help her out. She has never known such generosity, but money just was not what she wants to talk about since she was paid.

"Will you eat me out again?" Violet asks with an eyebrow raised in interest. As luck would have it, their waitress Crystal, arrives again at that moment. Being an old lady at a diner, she'd heard it all before, so she didn't miss a beat, and goes into offering to top off coffee and suggest deserts. "Unless you've already had enough, sir?" Nick's face turns red. Violet laughs. The waitress pauses to enjoy Nick squirming, but then his struggle ends, he says, "I'll have another slice of pie," looking into Violet's eyes. Violet smiles and thinks, "That's it, good, he's playing along."

Nick turns his head to the waitress, "Cherry, please? Thank you Crystal."

"Ha!" The old waitress laughs and walks away.

"I'm glad my embarrassment amuses you so much." Nick says. Violet lays her hand on his again and quickly replies, "Don't change the subject," she leans in, "Are you going to eat my pussy out like you did a couple hours ago?" She was relentless, and he was falling in love with her all the more for it.

Nick grins, "Yes, I will. Do you need it added to the contract?" He says with a grin. She made him feel like he was 16 all over again. Or 61... Either way, he didn't like feeling like this. Especially with her obviously coming on to him. He feels, like he is under her spell.

"'And how did you two meet? her mother asks...'" Violet comes out of nowhere with that, though Nick finally catches on.

Whenever Violet gets self conscious, she does this third person comedic relief thing. That realization gave Nick a solid clue into her psyche.

"We met online, right? 40% of all relationships begin online these days." He was logical. She likes him. She hates to admit it but she is catching feelings for Nick and his charming ways. He begins again "Listen, I like you..." she cuts him off. "How can you say that? You don't even know me, other than maybe Biblically!" As luck would have it, Crystal arrives with the Cherry Pie at the moment Violet said that. Nick blushes again, as Crystal places the desert on the table with the check.

"Aww, your first fight." The three of them all laugh for different reasons. Crystal was laughing at Nick's expense. Violet was laughing in resignation. She admits to herself, she wants to see Nick more. Nick on the other hand, laughs because he will soon give Crystal a big tip for having to put up with them. Nick also wants to give Violet a spanking, for torturing him.

When Crystal leaves their table side with his Four Suits Corporate credit card, he makes sure to put Violet on the spot about coming back for the long term project. "So, I don't get it, why me? What makes me worth proposing to be my new boss slash sugar daddy?"

With her usual perfect timing, Crystal comes around the corner with the check for a signature. She pauses like she doesn't know who to give the check too, and acts like she finally figures it out, and places it in front of Nick.

Violet never smiled so hard in her life, without laughing that is. Crystal's movements pretend incompetence, but are in fact, a hilarious satire of the situation, as far as Violet is concerned. NIck finally got the joke, and confirms the hilarity of the situation with a $300 tip. Crystal was almost shaking when she sees what she received, and turns back to thank Nick for his generosity. As he waves to her, he puts his card away, and he looks at Violet; the question, still burning in his eyes.

"Yes, I will come back tomorrow." says Violet.
