This is the beginning of a scam in an alternate universe. It is also the story of a warrior with a mission to defeat the Devil. At the end, he realized that he had been duped instead.

The pedestrians around finally seemed to notice the commotion here, each initially startled and then quickly becoming agitated.


Shane, however, ignored this and did not even spare a glance at Edel and the others. Instead, he turned around to look at Merica and Lu Muya behind him, giving them a look before he undetectably let out a sigh of relief.


That familiar voice finally made Merica and Lu Muya realize they had been rescued.


The next second, both girls threw themselves into Shane's embrace.
